Svrgnuti honduraški predsjednik Manuel Zelaya u srijedu odlazi iz Hondurasa u egzil a novi predsjednik preuzima dužnost nakon velike pobjede vođa prošlogodišnjeg državnog udara.

Zelaya je svoj odlazak uskladio s danom kada oporbeni čelnik Porfirio Lobo daje predsjedničku prisegu čime se okončava i duga kriza koju strano posredovanje i pritisci iz SAD-a i Južne Amerike nisu uspjeli riješiti.

Lobo, koji je pobijedio na izborima 29. studenog koje su mnoge zemlje ocijenile nelegitimnim jer ih je organizirala de facto vlada, predsjedničku dužnost preuzeo je na ceremoniji na nacionalnom stadionu u srijedu kojoj su nazočili mnogi strani čelnici, predstavnici vojske i njegove pristaše.

Lobo je obećao prevladati kaos posljednjih mjeseci rekavši: "Danas želimo zaliječiti rane prošlosti".

Honduraški kongres Zelayi je u utorak dao političku amenstiju ali ta odluka ne utiče na kaznene optužbe protiv njega. Ne očekuje se, međutim, da će Zelaya promijeniti svoj plan da ode iz zemlje.

Zelaya planira otići iz brazilskog veleposlanstva u kojem se nalazi mjesecima i odletjeti za Dominikansku Republiku zrakoplovom koji je poslao predsjednik te karipske zemlje.

"Imam poziv da odem u Dominikansku Republiku i prihvatit ću taj poziv, očito uz odobrenje nove vlade", rekao je Zelaya lokalnoj radio postaji u utorak.

Svrgnuti honduraški predsjednik Manuel Zelaya u srijedu odlazi iz Hondurasa u egzil a novi predsjednik preuzima dužnost nakon velike pobjede vođa prošlogodišnjeg državnog udara.

Zelaya je svoj odlazak uskladio s danom kada oporbeni čelnik Porfirio Lobo daje predsjedničku prisegu čime se okončava i duga kriza koju strano posredovanje i pritisci iz SAD-a i Južne Amerike nisu uspjeli riješiti.

Lobo, koji je pobijedio na izborima 29. studenog koje su mnoge zemlje ocijenile nelegitimnim jer ih je organizirala de facto vlada, predsjedničku dužnost preuzeo je na ceremoniji na nacionalnom stadionu u srijedu kojoj su nazočili mnogi strani čelnici, predstavnici vojske i njegove pristaše.

Lobo je obećao prevladati kaos posljednjih mjeseci rekavši: "Danas želimo zaliječiti rane prošlosti".

Honduraški kongres Zelayi je u utorak dao političku amenstiju ali ta odluka ne utiče na kaznene optužbe protiv njega. Ne očekuje se, međutim, da će Zelaya promijeniti svoj plan da ode iz zemlje.

Zelaya planira otići iz brazilskog veleposlanstva u kojem se nalazi mjesecima i odletjeti za Dominikansku Republiku zrakoplovom koji je poslao predsjednik te karipske zemlje.

"Imam poziv da odem u Dominikansku Republiku i prihvatit ću taj poziv, očito uz odobrenje nove vlade", rekao je Zelaya lokalnoj radio postaji u utorak.
