Predsjednik Tunisa Kais Saied rekao je u petak da zemlja neće tolerirati bilo kakvo strano miješanje jer se suočava sa sve većim pritiskom zapadnih vlada da uspostave ustavni poredak nakon njegovog preuzimanja vlasti u srpnju.

"O suverenitetu Tunisa i izborima njezinog naroda nije se razgovaralo s međunarodnim partnerima (...) i neće biti predmet pregovora s bilo kojom stranom", rekao je predsjednik u priopćenju.

Saied je izabran 2019., a 25. srpnja ove godine 'zamrznuo' je parlament, smijenio premijera i preuzeo izvršnu vlast, što su njegovi islamistički protivnici označili iznenadnim državnim udarom, ali je on rekao da su ti potezi bili neophodni da se zemlja spasi od kolapsa.

Tijekom posjete Tunisu u petak, visoki predstavnik EU za vanjsku politiku i mir Josep Borrell rekao je da je Saiedu prenio europsku zabrinutost zbog očuvanja demokratskih tekovina u toj zemlji, a ovog su tjedna Saieda pozvali i veleposlanici zemalja G7 da hitno imenuje novog šefa vlade i vrati se ustavnom poretku u kojem izabrani parlament ima važnu ulogu.

Više od šest tjedana nakon Saiedovog preuzimanja vlasti, još uvijek nije imenovao novu vladu niti je dao širu izjavu o svojim dugoročnim namjerama.

Zapadne demokracije bile su među najvažnijim donatorima koji su pružili podršku javnim financijama Tunisa u posljednjem desetljeću jer je gospodarstvo te zemlje znatno palo od revolucije 2011. koja je uvela demokraciju.

Saiedova intervencija dovela je Tunis u ustavnu krizu, izazivajući zabrinutost za budućnost demokratskog sustava, dok je on to ocijenio u skladu s ustavom i potrebnim zbog "političke paralize, visoke stope covida-19 i prosvjeda", obećavši i da to neće utjecati na prava.

Predsjednik Tunisa Kais Saied rekao je u petak da zemlja neće tolerirati bilo kakvo strano miješanje jer se suočava sa sve većim pritiskom zapadnih vlada da uspostave ustavni poredak nakon njegovog preuzimanja vlasti u srpnju.

"O suverenitetu Tunisa i izborima njezinog naroda nije se razgovaralo s međunarodnim partnerima (...) i neće biti predmet pregovora s bilo kojom stranom", rekao je predsjednik u priopćenju.

Saied je izabran 2019., a 25. srpnja ove godine 'zamrznuo' je parlament, smijenio premijera i preuzeo izvršnu vlast, što su njegovi islamistički protivnici označili iznenadnim državnim udarom, ali je on rekao da su ti potezi bili neophodni da se zemlja spasi od kolapsa.

Tijekom posjete Tunisu u petak, visoki predstavnik EU za vanjsku politiku i mir Josep Borrell rekao je da je Saiedu prenio europsku zabrinutost zbog očuvanja demokratskih tekovina u toj zemlji, a ovog su tjedna Saieda pozvali i veleposlanici zemalja G7 da hitno imenuje novog šefa vlade i vrati se ustavnom poretku u kojem izabrani parlament ima važnu ulogu.

Više od šest tjedana nakon Saiedovog preuzimanja vlasti, još uvijek nije imenovao novu vladu niti je dao širu izjavu o svojim dugoročnim namjerama.

Zapadne demokracije bile su među najvažnijim donatorima koji su pružili podršku javnim financijama Tunisa u posljednjem desetljeću jer je gospodarstvo te zemlje znatno palo od revolucije 2011. koja je uvela demokraciju.

Saiedova intervencija dovela je Tunis u ustavnu krizu, izazivajući zabrinutost za budućnost demokratskog sustava, dok je on to ocijenio u skladu s ustavom i potrebnim zbog "političke paralize, visoke stope covida-19 i prosvjeda", obećavši i da to neće utjecati na prava.

Predsjednik Tunisa odbija bilo kakvo strano miješanje zbog političke krize

Predsjednik Tunisa Kais Saied rekao je u petak da zemlja neće tolerirati bilo kakvo strano miješanje jer se suočava sa sve većim pritiskom zapadnih vlada da uspostave ustavni poredak nakon njegovog preuzimanja vlasti u srpnju.

"O suverenitetu Tunisa i izborima njezinog naroda nije se razgovaralo s međunarodnim partnerima (...) i neće biti predmet pregovora s bilo kojom stranom", rekao je predsjednik u priopćenju.

Saied je izabran 2019., a 25. srpnja ove godine 'zamrznuo' je parlament, smijenio premijera i preuzeo izvršnu vlast, što su njegovi islamistički protivnici označili iznenadnim državnim udarom, ali je on rekao da su ti potezi bili neophodni da se zemlja spasi od kolapsa.
