Honduraška privremena vlada priopćila je u srijedu navečer kako je odobrila zbačenom predsjedniku Manuelu Zelayi da napusti zemlju i ode u Meksiko, a meksički dužnosnik je potvrdio kako se vode razgovori o toj mogućnosti.

Glasnogovornik ministarstva vanjskih poslova Milton Mateo je rekao kako je Meksiko zatražio propusnicu za slobodan prolaz za Zelayu te da je ona potpisana i da će biti dostavljena u brazilsko veleposlanstvo gdje je Zelaya u okruženju otkako se potajno vratio u Honduras 21. rujna.

Mateo je također rekao kako je meksička vlada poslala zrakoplov koji će odvesti Zelayu, njegovu suprugu i dvoje od njegove djece.

Dužnosnik meksičke vlade je uz uvjet da ne bude imenovan rekao kako se razmatra mogućnost da se Zelayu dovede u Meksiko, ali nije mogao potvrditi da su bilo kakvi aranžmani već postignuti.

Dužnosnik je rekao kako su se razgovori usredotočili na to kakva titula će biti dana Zelayi, "gosta" meksičke vlade ili neka druga.

Zelayini izgledi za povratak na vlast pretrpjeli su ozbiljan udarac prošloga tjedna kada je honduraški kongres izglasovao da on ne može ponovno preuzeti predsjedničku dužnost.

Honduras je izabrao novog predsjednika Porfiria Loboa na izborima 29. studenoga, ali mnoge zemlje još uvijek nisu priznale te izbore. Lobo preuzima dužnost u siječnju.

Privremeni predsjednik Roberto Micheletti okružio je brazilsko veleposlanstvo vojnicima i obećao da će uhititi Zelayu ako napusti taj kompleks mada je također nagovijestio kako bi dopustio Zelayi da ode u izgnanstvo ili dobije politički azil u drugoj zemlji.

Zelaya je optužen za zloporabu vlasti jer nije poslušao naredbu vrhovnog suda da otkaže referendum o promjeni ustava. Spor je doveo do državnog udara u lipnju u kojem je on zbačen.

Honduraška privremena vlada priopćila je u srijedu navečer kako je odobrila zbačenom predsjedniku Manuelu Zelayi da napusti zemlju i ode u Meksiko, a meksički dužnosnik je potvrdio kako se vode razgovori o toj mogućnosti.

Glasnogovornik ministarstva vanjskih poslova Milton Mateo je rekao kako je Meksiko zatražio propusnicu za slobodan prolaz za Zelayu te da je ona potpisana i da će biti dostavljena u brazilsko veleposlanstvo gdje je Zelaya u okruženju otkako se potajno vratio u Honduras 21. rujna.

Mateo je također rekao kako je meksička vlada poslala zrakoplov koji će odvesti Zelayu, njegovu suprugu i dvoje od njegove djece.

Dužnosnik meksičke vlade je uz uvjet da ne bude imenovan rekao kako se razmatra mogućnost da se Zelayu dovede u Meksiko, ali nije mogao potvrditi da su bilo kakvi aranžmani već postignuti.

Dužnosnik je rekao kako su se razgovori usredotočili na to kakva titula će biti dana Zelayi, "gosta" meksičke vlade ili neka druga.

Zelayini izgledi za povratak na vlast pretrpjeli su ozbiljan udarac prošloga tjedna kada je honduraški kongres izglasovao da on ne može ponovno preuzeti predsjedničku dužnost.

Honduras je izabrao novog predsjednika Porfiria Loboa na izborima 29. studenoga, ali mnoge zemlje još uvijek nisu priznale te izbore. Lobo preuzima dužnost u siječnju.

Privremeni predsjednik Roberto Micheletti okružio je brazilsko veleposlanstvo vojnicima i obećao da će uhititi Zelayu ako napusti taj kompleks mada je također nagovijestio kako bi dopustio Zelayi da ode u izgnanstvo ili dobije politički azil u drugoj zemlji.

Zelaya je optužen za zloporabu vlasti jer nije poslušao naredbu vrhovnog suda da otkaže referendum o promjeni ustava. Spor je doveo do državnog udara u lipnju u kojem je on zbačen.

Honduras će dopustiti Zelayi da ode u Meksiko
