Armin Laschet, premijer savezne države Sjeverna Rajna Vestfalija, novi je predsjednik vodeće njemačke stranke, Kršćansko demokratske unije (CDU). I tako je postao nasljednik Angele Merkel koja je do jeseni 2018. godine bila na tom mjestu - piše Željko Trkanjec za Jutarnji list.
U prvom krugu elektronskog glasovanja na virtualnoj stranačkoj konvenciji Friedrich Merz, kandidat desne struje, osvojio je 385 glasova, a Laschet 380. U tom je krugu otpao, kako se i očekivalo, Norbert Röttgen koji je osvojio 224 glasa.
U drugom krugu se većina Röttgenovih glasova slila, očekivano, Laschetu koji je s njih 521 odnio pobjedu. Merz je ostao na 466 glasova. To je njegov drugi poraz na unutarstranačkim izborima jer ga je u prosincu 2019. godine bila pobijedila Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer koju je Merkel željela za svoju nasljednicu.
Sada predstoji još formalnost - delegati svoje elektronske glasove potvrde poštom pa će službeni rezultati biti proglašeni sljedećeg petka.
Laschet je u posljednjem tjednu dobio snažnu podršku od bivše predsjednice Kramp-Karrenbauer, a svima je poznato da je Merz u izravnom sukobu s Merkel koja je dala do znanja da bi najradije na mjestu šefa CDU-a vidjela Lascheta.
Riječ je povijesnoj promjeni na čelu najjače njemačke stranke koju je od 2000. godine vodila Angela Merkel. Omiljena kancelarka, “Mutti”, kako je od milja zovu u Njemačkoj, odlučila se povući iz politike nakon saveznih izbora 26. rujna ove godine.
Laschetova pobjeda znači da će politika CDU-a u najvećoj mjeri ostati na liniji koju je zacrtala Angela Merkel, a koja podrazumijeva na unutarnjem planu što brži oporavak od pandemije te pripravnost da se za to potroši novca koliko je potrebno. Jačanje industrijske politike i dodatno okretanje zelenim opcijama.
Na europskom planu neće doći do velikih zaokreta jer će Laschet nastaviti s politikama Angele Merkel.
No, ključno je pitanje kako će se formirati nova vlada nakon saveznih izbora. Laschet je za Zelene, koji će gotovo sigurno biti druga stranka po snazi, prihvatljiva opcija, ali je pitanje hoće li on biti kandidat za kancelara ili će se u ožujku CDU sa svojom sestrinskom strankom CSU dogovoriti oko džokera, Markusa Södera, sadašnjeg bavarskog premijera. No, i on je prihvatljiva opcija Zelenima.

Plenković čestitao Laschetu
Hrvatski premijer i predsjednik HDZ-a Andrej Plenković čestitao je Arminu Laschetu na izboru za novog čelnika CDU-a.

Radujemo se nastavku kvalitetne suradnje HDZ-a i CDU-a kao i Hrvatske i Njemačke, napisao je Plenković na Twitteru.
Laschet je, inače, Plenkoviću u ožujku 2019. godine uručio „Steiger“ nagradu u kategoriji Europa.
- Ovu nagradu vidim i kao priznanje mojim sugrađanima u izgradnji europske Hrvatske - rekao je tada Plenković i podsjetio na to kako je put Hrvatske u Europsku uniju bio mnogo mukotrpniji od puteva ostalih srednjoeuropskih zemalja.
Za odgovornost jednog rudarskog predradnika po kojemu je nagrada dobila ime, Steiger, Plenković je rekao da ima mnogo zajedničkog s odgovornošću jednog premijera.
Laschet je prilikom uručivanja nagrade istaknuo Plenkovićevu privrženost europskoj ideji. (JL)

Armin Laschet, premijer savezne države Sjeverna Rajna Vestfalija, novi je predsjednik vodeće njemačke stranke, Kršćansko demokratske unije (CDU). I tako je postao nasljednik Angele Merkel koja je do jeseni 2018. godine bila na tom mjestu - piše Željko Trkanjec za Jutarnji list.
U prvom krugu elektronskog glasovanja na virtualnoj stranačkoj konvenciji Friedrich Merz, kandidat desne struje, osvojio je 385 glasova, a Laschet 380. U tom je krugu otpao, kako se i očekivalo, Norbert Röttgen koji je osvojio 224 glasa.
U drugom krugu se većina Röttgenovih glasova slila, očekivano, Laschetu koji je s njih 521 odnio pobjedu. Merz je ostao na 466 glasova. To je njegov drugi poraz na unutarstranačkim izborima jer ga je u prosincu 2019. godine bila pobijedila Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer koju je Merkel željela za svoju nasljednicu.
Sada predstoji još formalnost - delegati svoje elektronske glasove potvrde poštom pa će službeni rezultati biti proglašeni sljedećeg petka.
Laschet je u posljednjem tjednu dobio snažnu podršku od bivše predsjednice Kramp-Karrenbauer, a svima je poznato da je Merz u izravnom sukobu s Merkel koja je dala do znanja da bi najradije na mjestu šefa CDU-a vidjela Lascheta.
Riječ je povijesnoj promjeni na čelu najjače njemačke stranke koju je od 2000. godine vodila Angela Merkel. Omiljena kancelarka, “Mutti”, kako je od milja zovu u Njemačkoj, odlučila se povući iz politike nakon saveznih izbora 26. rujna ove godine.
Laschetova pobjeda znači da će politika CDU-a u najvećoj mjeri ostati na liniji koju je zacrtala Angela Merkel, a koja podrazumijeva na unutarnjem planu što brži oporavak od pandemije te pripravnost da se za to potroši novca koliko je potrebno. Jačanje industrijske politike i dodatno okretanje zelenim opcijama.
Na europskom planu neće doći do velikih zaokreta jer će Laschet nastaviti s politikama Angele Merkel.
No, ključno je pitanje kako će se formirati nova vlada nakon saveznih izbora. Laschet je za Zelene, koji će gotovo sigurno biti druga stranka po snazi, prihvatljiva opcija, ali je pitanje hoće li on biti kandidat za kancelara ili će se u ožujku CDU sa svojom sestrinskom strankom CSU dogovoriti oko džokera, Markusa Södera, sadašnjeg bavarskog premijera. No, i on je prihvatljiva opcija Zelenima.

Plenković čestitao Laschetu
Hrvatski premijer i predsjednik HDZ-a Andrej Plenković čestitao je Arminu Laschetu na izboru za novog čelnika CDU-a.
Čestitke Arminu Laschetu na izboru za predsjednika CDU-a! S predsjednikom Vlade NRW-a uspostavili smo odlične odnose prigodom posjeta Düsseldorfu i Essenu, kao i na Minhenskoj sigurnosnoj konferenciji 2020. godine. Radujemo se nastavku kvalitetne suradnje HDZ-a i CDU-a kao i Hrvatske i Njemačke, napisao je Plenković na Twitteru.
Laschet je, inače, Plenkoviću u ožujku 2019. godine uručio „Steiger“ nagradu u kategoriji Europa.
- Ovu nagradu vidim i kao priznanje mojim sugrađanima u izgradnji europske Hrvatske - rekao je tada Plenković i podsjetio na to kako je put Hrvatske u Europsku uniju bio mnogo mukotrpniji od puteva ostalih srednjoeuropskih zemalja.
Za odgovornost jednog rudarskog predradnika po kojemu je nagrada dobila ime, Steiger, Plenković je rekao da ima mnogo zajedničkog s odgovornošću jednog premijera.
Laschet je prilikom uručivanja nagrade istaknuo Plenkovićevu privrženost europskoj ideji. (JL)
