Peteročlana obitelj Grgić živi u Otoku na istoku Slavonije sa svoje troje djece, od kojih dvoje ima velikih poteškoća u razvoju. Njihovu i inače trošnu kuću dodatno je oštetilo nevrijeme, pa obitelj živi u doista teškim uvjetima.
Kako piše Telegram, otac obitelji, Davor Grgić, zbog zdravstvenog je stanja svoje djece morao dati otkaz kako bi pomogao supruzi te sada ima status roditelja njegovatelja. Više puta su se obraćali gradu Otoku kako bi im pomogli u rješavanju stambenog pitanja, no nikakvog pomaka nije bilo.
Kad se Grgić obratio novinarima za pomoć, gradonačelnik Otoka, HDZ-ov Josip Šarić, kazao mu je da će pomoći ukoliko povuče sve što je rekao.
‘Jučer iza devet uvečer, samo nekoliko sati nakon posjete Telegramovog novinara, gradonačelnik Josip Šarić, poslao je osobu od svog povjerenja koja je od mene tražila da vas nazovem, povučem sve što sam rekao, te da će zauzvrat riješiti moj stambeni problem‘, kazao je Grgić.
‘Međutim, ne povlačim ni jednu jedinu riječ, jer sve što sam govorio potpuna je istina: gradonačelnik Šarić bez imalo suosjećanja prema teškim prilikama moje obitelji, u kojoj je dvoje od troje naše malodobne djece teško mentalno retardirano, već više od dvije godine odbija osigurati nam odgovarajući smještaj. Štoviše, čini sve da nas u tome posve onemogući.‘
Više puta obitelj Grgić obraćala se za pomoć i Pravobraniteljici za osobe s invaliditetom Anki Slonjšak. Odande su, u najmanje dva navrata, slali preporuke i tražili izvješća u kojima traži postupanje Grada Otoka, a upozorenje i požurnica su, osim gradonačelniku Šariću, poslana i vukovarsko-srijemskom županu Damiru Dekaniću.
Ni Šarić ni Dekanić nisu reagirali, pa se Davor Grgić obratio novinarima. Oboljeloj je djeci odobreno i pravo usluge rane intervencije u Centru za rehabilitaciju Mala Terezija u Vinkovcima od samo 60 minuta tjedno.
‘Nemam osobni automobil i ne mogu sam djecu voziti na rehabilitaciju. Jedno vrijeme uspijevao sam osigurati uslužni prijevoz drugih osoba, ali bez obzira na to što sam to plaćao, svi su odustali zbog stanja u kojem se djeca nalaze‘, kaže otac Davor.
Dodaje kako im je sugerirano da djevojčicu koja je zdrava i koja pohađa vrtić pokušaju izolirati od bolesnog brata i sestre. Davor kaže kako su primijetili da se i ona počela slično ponašati, imitirajući ono što vidi u kući. ‘Bojimo se da se ne razboli, ali nemamo uvjeta osigurati joj posebnu sobu, jer svi živimo u tih 30 kvadrata‘, kaže očajni otac za Telegram.

Peteročlana obitelj Grgić živi u Otoku na istoku Slavonije sa svoje troje djece, od kojih dvoje ima velikih poteškoća u razvoju. Njihovu i inače trošnu kuću dodatno je oštetilo nevrijeme, pa obitelj živi u doista teškim uvjetima.
Kako piše Telegram, otac obitelji, Davor Grgić, zbog zdravstvenog je stanja svoje djece morao dati otkaz kako bi pomogao supruzi te sada ima status roditelja njegovatelja. Više puta su se obraćali gradu Otoku kako bi im pomogli u rješavanju stambenog pitanja, no nikakvog pomaka nije bilo.
Kad se Grgić obratio novinarima za pomoć, gradonačelnik Otoka, HDZ-ov Josip Šarić, kazao mu je da će pomoći ukoliko povuče sve što je rekao.
‘Jučer iza devet uvečer, samo nekoliko sati nakon posjete Telegramovog novinara, gradonačelnik Josip Šarić, poslao je osobu od svog povjerenja koja je od mene tražila da vas nazovem, povučem sve što sam rekao, te da će zauzvrat riješiti moj stambeni problem‘, kazao je Grgić.
‘Međutim, ne povlačim ni jednu jedinu riječ, jer sve što sam govorio potpuna je istina: gradonačelnik Šarić bez imalo suosjećanja prema teškim prilikama moje obitelji, u kojoj je dvoje od troje naše malodobne djece teško mentalno retardirano, već više od dvije godine odbija osigurati nam odgovarajući smještaj. Štoviše, čini sve da nas u tome posve onemogući.‘
Više puta obitelj Grgić obraćala se za pomoć i Pravobraniteljici za osobe s invaliditetom Anki Slonjšak. Odande su, u najmanje dva navrata, slali preporuke i tražili izvješća u kojima traži postupanje Grada Otoka, a upozorenje i požurnica su, osim gradonačelniku Šariću, poslana i vukovarsko-srijemskom županu Damiru Dekaniću.
Ni Šarić ni Dekanić nisu reagirali, pa se Davor Grgić obratio novinarima. Oboljeloj je djeci odobreno i pravo usluge rane intervencije u Centru za rehabilitaciju Mala Terezija u Vinkovcima od samo 60 minuta tjedno.
‘Nemam osobni automobil i ne mogu sam djecu voziti na rehabilitaciju. Jedno vrijeme uspijevao sam osigurati uslužni prijevoz drugih osoba, ali bez obzira na to što sam to plaćao, svi su odustali zbog stanja u kojem se djeca nalaze‘, kaže otac Davor.
Dodaje kako im je sugerirano da djevojčicu koja je zdrava i koja pohađa vrtić pokušaju izolirati od bolesnog brata i sestre. Davor kaže kako su primijetili da se i ona počela slično ponašati, imitirajući ono što vidi u kući. ‘Bojimo se da se ne razboli, ali nemamo uvjeta osigurati joj posebnu sobu, jer svi živimo u tih 30 kvadrata‘, kaže očajni otac za Telegram.
