Francuski telekom operater France Telecom započeo je pregovore o potencijalnom preuzimanju švedskog operatera TeliaSonere za 42 milijarde dolara, čime bi nastala najveća telekomunikacijska kompanija u Europi.

Švedski telekom istog je trena odbacio ponudu, ocijenivši je preniskom. Uprava je u priopćenju objavila da je jednoglasno donijela odluku o odbacivanju ponude koja značajno podcjenjuje vrijednost kompanije.

France Telecom nije podastro službenu ponudu ali je dao "indikativni prijedlog" prema kojem nudi 56,23 švedske krune (9,36 dolara) za dionicu švedskog operatera.

Analitičari kažu kako su dva najveća dioničara TeliaSonere, švedska i finska država, dala naslutiti da su otvorena za prodaju udjela, ali ne po niskoj cijeni.

Švedski ministar financijskih tržišta Mats Odell u nastupu je pred novinarima kazao kako FT-ova ponuda ne odgovara ukupnim potencijalima za stvaranje vrijednosti. No, iskazao je otvorenost za povezivanje s drugim velikim operaterom.

- U europskom telekom sektoru provodi se konsolidacija a TeliaSonera želi u njoj na različite načine sudjelovati - kazao je on.

Čelnik France Telecoma Didier Lombard kazao je da je razgovarao sa svojim kolegom u švedskom operateru u vezi ponude o preuzimanju te dodao kako se još uvijek vode pregovori o poboljšanju ponude.

Lombard se nada postizanju sporazumu do kraja godine te ostvarivanju dva glavna FT-ova cilja - širenju aktivnosti na zrelim tržištima i povećanju prisutnosti francuskog operatera na tržištima u nastajanju.

Francuski telekom operater France Telecom započeo je pregovore o potencijalnom preuzimanju švedskog operatera TeliaSonere za 42 milijarde dolara, čime bi nastala najveća telekomunikacijska kompanija u Europi.

Švedski telekom istog je trena odbacio ponudu, ocijenivši je preniskom. Uprava je u priopćenju objavila da je jednoglasno donijela odluku o odbacivanju ponude koja značajno podcjenjuje vrijednost kompanije.

France Telecom nije podastro službenu ponudu ali je dao "indikativni prijedlog" prema kojem nudi 56,23 švedske krune (9,36 dolara) za dionicu švedskog operatera.

Analitičari kažu kako su dva najveća dioničara TeliaSonere, švedska i finska država, dala naslutiti da su otvorena za prodaju udjela, ali ne po niskoj cijeni.

Švedski ministar financijskih tržišta Mats Odell u nastupu je pred novinarima kazao kako FT-ova ponuda ne odgovara ukupnim potencijalima za stvaranje vrijednosti. No, iskazao je otvorenost za povezivanje s drugim velikim operaterom.

- U europskom telekom sektoru provodi se konsolidacija a TeliaSonera želi u njoj na različite načine sudjelovati - kazao je on.

Čelnik France Telecoma Didier Lombard kazao je da je razgovarao sa svojim kolegom u švedskom operateru u vezi ponude o preuzimanju te dodao kako se još uvijek vode pregovori o poboljšanju ponude.

Lombard se nada postizanju sporazumu do kraja godine te ostvarivanju dva glavna FT-ova cilja - širenju aktivnosti na zrelim tržištima i povećanju prisutnosti francuskog operatera na tržištima u nastajanju.
