Engleski nogometni prvoligaš Manchester City je zadovoljan odlukom Međunarodnog sportskog suda u Lausannei (CAS), koja mu je omogućila nastup u Ligi prvaka i sljedeće sezone, dok je reakcija Uefe bila suzdržana.

Manchester City je priopćio da je zadovoljan odlukom Suda, dodajući kako je presuda potvrdila vrijednost dokaza koje je klub predstavio na saslušanju u lipnju.

"Uefa ističe da je primila na znanje odluku CAS-a, te dodaje da su pravila financijskog fair-playa proteklih godina odigrala značajnu ulogu u zaštiti klubova te da su im pomogla da ostanu financijski održivi. Uefa i Europska udruga klubova (ECA) ostaju posvećeni tim principima", kaže se u priopćenju Uefe.

Međunarodni sportski sud u ponedjeljak je usvojio žalbu Cityja na dvogodišnju zabranu nastupa u europskim kup natjecanjima, koju mu je izrekla Uefa zbog navodnog kršenja pravila financijskog fair-playa.

"Većina kršenja pravila koje je prijavila UEFA nisu dokazana ili je nastupila zastara", priopćio je CAS, koji je ukinuo dvogodišnju suspenziju, a novčana kazna od 30 milijuna eura zbog nedovoljne suradnje sa istražiteljima Uefe smanjena je na 10 milijuna eura.

Uefa je prošle godine, kada su se u europskim medijima pojavili dokumenti "Football Leaks", pokrenula istragu o sumnjivim "financijskim akrobacijama" u Manchester Cityju. Istragom je Uefa došla do zaključka da je prihod od sponzora u razdoblju od 2012. do 2016. bio "friziran", odnosno da novac nije došao od glavnog sponzora Etihada, zrakoplovne kompanije iz Abu Dhabija, već od vlasnika kluba šeika Mansoura bin Zayeda Al Nahyana, koji je na čelu ADUG-a, jednog od najvećih investicijskih fondova na svijetu. Zbog toga je Uefa sredinom veljače ove godine izrekla Manchester Cityju dvogodišnju zabranu nastupa u europskim kup natjecanjima te novčanu kaznu od 30 milijuna eura.

Manchester City se žalio na tu odluku i u lipnju je na Međunarodnom sportskom sudu u Lausannei održano trodnevno saslušanje na kojem su predstavnici Cityja isticali da su optužbe na njihov račun netočne, te da istražitelji Uefe uopće nisu uzeli u obzir dokaze koje im je dostavio klub.

Međunarodni sportski sud uvažio je argumente Manchester Cityja, te je objavio da City nije kršio pravila financijskog fair-playa time što je novac dobiven od investicijskog fonda, na čijem je čelu vlasnik kluba, prikazao kao prihod od sponzora.

Engleski nogometni prvoligaš Manchester City je zadovoljan odlukom Međunarodnog sportskog suda u Lausannei (CAS), koja mu je omogućila nastup u Ligi prvaka i sljedeće sezone, dok je reakcija Uefe bila suzdržana.

Manchester City je priopćio da je zadovoljan odlukom Suda, dodajući kako je presuda potvrdila vrijednost dokaza koje je klub predstavio na saslušanju u lipnju.

"Uefa ističe da je primila na znanje odluku CAS-a, te dodaje da su pravila financijskog fair-playa proteklih godina odigrala značajnu ulogu u zaštiti klubova te da su im pomogla da ostanu financijski održivi. Uefa i Europska udruga klubova (ECA) ostaju posvećeni tim principima", kaže se u priopćenju Uefe.

Međunarodni sportski sud u ponedjeljak je usvojio žalbu Cityja na dvogodišnju zabranu nastupa u europskim kup natjecanjima, koju mu je izrekla Uefa zbog navodnog kršenja pravila financijskog fair-playa.

"Većina kršenja pravila koje je prijavila UEFA nisu dokazana ili je nastupila zastara", priopćio je CAS, koji je ukinuo dvogodišnju suspenziju, a novčana kazna od 30 milijuna eura zbog nedovoljne suradnje sa istražiteljima Uefe smanjena je na 10 milijuna eura.

Uefa je prošle godine, kada su se u europskim medijima pojavili dokumenti "Football Leaks", pokrenula istragu o sumnjivim "financijskim akrobacijama" u Manchester Cityju. Istragom je Uefa došla do zaključka da je prihod od sponzora u razdoblju od 2012. do 2016. bio "friziran", odnosno da novac nije došao od glavnog sponzora Etihada, zrakoplovne kompanije iz Abu Dhabija, već od vlasnika kluba šeika Mansoura bin Zayeda Al Nahyana, koji je na čelu ADUG-a, jednog od najvećih investicijskih fondova na svijetu. Zbog toga je Uefa sredinom veljače ove godine izrekla Manchester Cityju dvogodišnju zabranu nastupa u europskim kup natjecanjima te novčanu kaznu od 30 milijuna eura.

Manchester City se žalio na tu odluku i u lipnju je na Međunarodnom sportskom sudu u Lausannei održano trodnevno saslušanje na kojem su predstavnici Cityja isticali da su optužbe na njihov račun netočne, te da istražitelji Uefe uopće nisu uzeli u obzir dokaze koje im je dostavio klub.

Međunarodni sportski sud uvažio je argumente Manchester Cityja, te je objavio da City nije kršio pravila financijskog fair-playa time što je novac dobiven od investicijskog fonda, na čijem je čelu vlasnik kluba, prikazao kao prihod od sponzora.

Engleski nogometni prvoligaš Manchester City je zadovoljan odlukom Međunarodnog sportskog suda u Lausannei (CAS), koja mu je omogućila nastup u Ligi prvaka i sljedeće sezone, dok je reakcija Uefe bila suzdržana.

Manchester City je priopćio da je zadovoljan odlukom Suda, dodajući kako je presuda potvrdila vrijednost dokaza koje je klub predstavio na saslušanju u lipnju.

"Uefa ističe da je primila na znanje odluku CAS-a, te dodaje da su pravila financijskog fair-playa proteklih godina odigrala značajnu ulogu u zaštiti klubova te da su im pomogla da ostanu financijski održivi. Uefa i Europska udruga klubova (ECA) ostaju posvećeni tim principima", kaže se u priopćenju Uefe.
