Među delegatima sjednice CEZ-a (automobilističke Centralno evropske zone) proteklog vikenda u zagrebačkom "Internationalu" uopće se nije razlikovao od drugih. Izgubljen u gomili, uredno je guštirao, a što bi drugo, naravno čaj. No, ovaj bi čovjek, britanski sportski odvjetnik Graham Stoker (69), mogao na čelu FIA zamijeniti Francuza Jean Todta, koji nakon 13 godina napušta to mjesto. Stoker je glavni kandidat da naslijedi Todta.

 S našim Zrinkom Gregurekom i Davorinom Štetnerom, predsjednikom HAKS-a (Hrvatski auto karting savez), je na "ti" pa je bilo zato bilo razumno prvo pitanje hoće li Hrvatsaka ugostiti utrku Svjetski reli prvenstva.

- Odjeknula je organizacija Croatia relija u relativno neiskusnoj Hrvatskoj ovoga travnja. Odigrali ste WRC kao da je desetljećima ovdje. A da li će ga biti 2022? Ovisi isključivo o promoteru i kakve financije možete podastrijeti. Znate što to znači. Koliko para toliko muzike. To su zakoni u svijetu, ne samo u sportu. Osobno ne bih brinuo. WRC će opet doći u Hrvatsku. Ali do tada se pobrinite da, npr. vaš Delta reli, dan nakon bude u svakom mediju i tako sve ostale vaše velike utrke. To je baza za WRC i naravno, snalažljivost vaših ljudi kao što su Zrinko Gregurek ili Davorin Štetner - kazao je Stoker u intervjuu nezavisnom novinaru Goranu Dijakoviću. 

Čini se da ste zadovoljni našim predsjednikom saveza? 

- Vašeg predsjednika Štetnera bi poželio svaki sport. Mlad i brz, digitalno obrazovan koji voli raditi i veliki je entuzijasta. S njim imate budućnost, ali se ona temelji i na onih 1.000 volontera koji su iznijeli WRC Croatia reli.

Kakve su šanse da postanete predsjednik FIA-e? 

- Imam program na liniji Jean Todta a on je FIA-u u zadnjih 13 godina podigao na jednu višu razinu. Brinut ćemo se o svim vrstama auto sporta i svim članicama jer samo tako smo jači i možemo naprijed. Investirat ćemo i podizati ugled i povjerenje. Imamo puno kvalitetnih ljudi - kazao je Stoker.

 Glavni protukandidat Stokera je Mohamed bin Sulajem (59) iz Saudijske Arabije. Već je bio protukandidat Todtu 2013. Čak 14 puta je bio prvak Srednjeg Istoka u reliju i bio je na čelu Grand Prixa u Abu Dabiju 2009., a potpredsjednik FIA-e je od 2008.

Za potredsjednika planirate Toma Kristiansena? Danac ima nešto kao Lewis Hamilton, koji nosi sedam naslova u F1. Tom ima devet pobjeda na 24 sata Le Mansa.

- Da, Tom je veliki znalac u sportu. Zna sve o svim vrstama auto sporta a i sve je vozio. Zanimljivo, iako je bio test vozač mnogim F1 momčadima, nikada nije dobio priliku u nekom Grand Prixu. No, devet pobjeda na Le Mansu jedan je od najvećih podviga u našem sportu - rekao je Stoker.

Koje je vaš trkaći "background"? 

- Jako sam rano postao odvjetnik, a to znači zbogom bilo kakvoj karijeri na stazi. No, prije toga sam prošao trkaće škole Jimmy Russell i 'Winfield. Kao advokat posvetio sam se klupskom radu i bio sudac na stazi. Danas jako pratim sve, ali nekako naginjem prototipovima u enduranceu. WEC (world endurance championship) će uskoro biti spektakl jer se Toyoti, Alpineu i Glickenhouseu uskoro priključuju Peugeot, Porsche, Audi, Ferrari i drugi - dodao je Stoker.

Tko su bili vaši trkaći idoli među vozačima i momčadima? 

- Nigel Mansell prije svih, jer je veliki vozač i sjajan momak. Za momčad ne smijem reći - kaže Stoker.

Dotakli smo se Formule 1. Koliko u postotcima se odlučuje između FIA-e i američkih vlasnika?

- Čisto partnerstvo. Talijan Stefano Domenicali na čelu Formule 1 radi izvrsno. Napeta sezona u borbi Lewisa Hamiltona i Maxa Vrstapena nam pomaže i F1 je i dalje sam vrh našeg sporta. F1 će samo napredovati. U 2022. stižu nova pravila koja će F1 učiniti još atraktivnijom - dodao je. 

Kako je ovog vikenda bilo na Grobniku? 

- Bio sam blizu, u Zagrebu, i to ne bih propustio. Grobnik je od Euronascara napravio spektakl a valjda će i ova korona proći pa da svi zajedno uživamo - izjavio je  Graham Stoker, koji je u ponedjeljak odletio iz Hrvatske.

Među delegatima sjednice CEZ-a (automobilističke Centralno evropske zone) proteklog vikenda u zagrebačkom "Internationalu" uopće se nije razlikovao od drugih. Izgubljen u gomili, uredno je guštirao, a što bi drugo, naravno čaj. No, ovaj bi čovjek, britanski sportski odvjetnik Graham Stoker (69), mogao na čelu FIA zamijeniti Francuza Jean Todta, koji nakon 13 godina napušta to mjesto. Stoker je glavni kandidat da naslijedi Todta.

 S našim Zrinkom Gregurekom i Davorinom Štetnerom, predsjednikom HAKS-a (Hrvatski auto karting savez), je na "ti" pa je bilo zato bilo razumno prvo pitanje hoće li Hrvatsaka ugostiti utrku Svjetski reli prvenstva.

- Odjeknula je organizacija Croatia relija u relativno neiskusnoj Hrvatskoj ovoga travnja. Odigrali ste WRC kao da je desetljećima ovdje. A da li će ga biti 2022? Ovisi isključivo o promoteru i kakve financije možete podastrijeti. Znate što to znači. Koliko para toliko muzike. To su zakoni u svijetu, ne samo u sportu. Osobno ne bih brinuo. WRC će opet doći u Hrvatsku. Ali do tada se pobrinite da, npr. vaš Delta reli, dan nakon bude u svakom mediju i tako sve ostale vaše velike utrke. To je baza za WRC i naravno, snalažljivost vaših ljudi kao što su Zrinko Gregurek ili Davorin Štetner - kazao je Stoker u intervjuu nezavisnom novinaru Goranu Dijakoviću. 

Čini se da ste zadovoljni našim predsjednikom saveza? 

- Vašeg predsjednika Štetnera bi poželio svaki sport. Mlad i brz, digitalno obrazovan koji voli raditi i veliki je entuzijasta. S njim imate budućnost, ali se ona temelji i na onih 1.000 volontera koji su iznijeli WRC Croatia reli.

Kakve su šanse da postanete predsjednik FIA-e? 

- Imam program na liniji Jean Todta a on je FIA-u u zadnjih 13 godina podigao na jednu višu razinu. Brinut ćemo se o svim vrstama auto sporta i svim članicama jer samo tako smo jači i možemo naprijed. Investirat ćemo i podizati ugled i povjerenje. Imamo puno kvalitetnih ljudi - kazao je Stoker.

 Glavni protukandidat Stokera je Mohamed bin Sulajem (59) iz Saudijske Arabije. Već je bio protukandidat Todtu 2013. Čak 14 puta je bio prvak Srednjeg Istoka u reliju i bio je na čelu Grand Prixa u Abu Dabiju 2009., a potpredsjednik FIA-e je od 2008.

Za potredsjednika planirate Toma Kristiansena? Danac ima nešto kao Lewis Hamilton, koji nosi sedam naslova u F1. Tom ima devet pobjeda na 24 sata Le Mansa.

- Da, Tom je veliki znalac u sportu. Zna sve o svim vrstama auto sporta a i sve je vozio. Zanimljivo, iako je bio test vozač mnogim F1 momčadima, nikada nije dobio priliku u nekom Grand Prixu. No, devet pobjeda na Le Mansu jedan je od najvećih podviga u našem sportu - rekao je Stoker.

Koje je vaš trkaći "background"? 

- Jako sam rano postao odvjetnik, a to znači zbogom bilo kakvoj karijeri na stazi. No, prije toga sam prošao trkaće škole Jimmy Russell i 'Winfield. Kao advokat posvetio sam se klupskom radu i bio sudac na stazi. Danas jako pratim sve, ali nekako naginjem prototipovima u enduranceu. WEC (world endurance championship) će uskoro biti spektakl jer se Toyoti, Alpineu i Glickenhouseu uskoro priključuju Peugeot, Porsche, Audi, Ferrari i drugi - dodao je Stoker.

Tko su bili vaši trkaći idoli među vozačima i momčadima? 

- Nigel Mansell prije svih, jer je veliki vozač i sjajan momak. Za momčad ne smijem reći - kaže Stoker.

Dotakli smo se Formule 1. Koliko u postotcima se odlučuje između FIA-e i američkih vlasnika?

- Čisto partnerstvo. Talijan Stefano Domenicali na čelu Formule 1 radi izvrsno. Napeta sezona u borbi Lewisa Hamiltona i Maxa Vrstapena nam pomaže i F1 je i dalje sam vrh našeg sporta. F1 će samo napredovati. U 2022. stižu nova pravila koja će F1 učiniti još atraktivnijom - dodao je. 

Kako je ovog vikenda bilo na Grobniku? 

- Bio sam blizu, u Zagrebu, i to ne bih propustio. Grobnik je od Euronascara napravio spektakl a valjda će i ova korona proći pa da svi zajedno uživamo - izjavio je  Graham Stoker, koji je u ponedjeljak odletio iz Hrvatske.

Graham Stoker glavni kandidat za nasljednika Jeana Todta: Investirat ćemo i podizati ugled i povjerenje, imamo kvalitetnih ljudi

Među delegatima sjednice CEZ-a (automobilističke Centralno evropske zone) proteklog vikenda u zagrebačkom "Internationalu" uopće se nije razlikovao od drugih. Izgubljen u gomili, uredno je guštirao, a što bi drugo, naravno čaj. No, ovaj bi čovjek, britanski sportski odvjetnik Graham Stoker (69), mogao na čelu FIA zamijeniti Francuza Jean Todta, koji nakon 13 godina napušta to mjesto. Stoker je glavni kandidat da naslijedi Todta.

 S našim Zrinkom Gregurekom i Davorinom Štetnerom, predsjednikom HAKS-a (Hrvatski auto karting savez), je na "ti" pa je bilo zato bilo razumno prvo pitanje hoće li Hrvatsaka ugostiti utrku Svjetski reli prvenstva.

- Odjeknula je organizacija Croatia relija u relativno neiskusnoj Hrvatskoj ovoga travnja. Odigrali ste WRC kao da je desetljećima ovdje. ...
