Među čak 83 točke dnevnog reda na najavljenoj sjednici Gradskog vijeća, posljednjoj koja će se održati u ovoj godini, neće se naći prijedlog HNS-ove vijećnice Mirne Kovačić da se vrtiću "Tamarin" ostavi postojeće ime te da se na tu zgradu postavi spomen-ploča Palmini Piplović, antifašistkinji koja je otpor nacistima u ranu jesen 1944. godine, ni tri tjedna prije oslobođenja grada, platila svojim mladim životom.
Podsjetimo, na istoj sjednici Gradskog vijeća koja se održala krajem listopada prikupljali su se potpisi za dvije različite inicijative vezane uz ime te pedagoške ustanove.
Vijećnik Ante Zoričić (Popravi grad) htio je raspravu o povratku imena vrtića "Palmina Piplović" uvrstiti u dnevni red sljedeće radne sjednice, ali je nekoliko dana nakon izvijestio javnost da u tome nije uspio.
Kazao je da je vijećnica Kovačić prikupila potpise za raspravu o postavljanju spomen-ploče na zgradu te ustanove, ali ne i o povratku starog imena tog vrtića.
No, jučer je stigla najava za sljedeću sjednicu, a među točkama dnevnog reda nema ni spomena o Palmini Piplović i dječjem vrtiću ispod marjanske Vidilice koji je izgrađen na didovini te heroine.
Zašto je odjednom stala inicijativa oko koje se prije više od mjesec dana digla velika prašina, zbog čega je reagirala i udruga branitelja, a govorilo se kako se u pozadini nalazi – HDZ?
Upitali smo vijećnicu Kovačić zašto nije predala prikupljene potpise, na što nam je ona kazala da se oporavljala od zaraze koronavirusom tako da "nije razmišljala o inicijativi".

- Vidjet ćemo što će biti s tim, ja ću razgovarati s članovima njezine obitelji (Palmine Piplović op. G.R.) da vidim kakva su njihova mišljenja o tome. Ništa se ne može riješiti bez kompromisa, bez zajedničkog dogovora.
Poslije tog dana kada su se prikupljali potpisi sjednice nije bilo, a ja sam se u međuvremenu razboljela – kazala je HNS-ova vijećnica.
Zašto nije razgovarala s obitelji Palmine Piplović prije pokretanja inicijative, nije konkretno odgovorila.
- Većina građana i ljudi s kojima sam razgovarala imaju mišljenje da će promjenom imena vrtića doći do toga da će brojne udruge tražiti promjene naziva škola, vrtića…
Zato sam rekla da moramo krenuti s nekim kompromisnim rješenjem koje možda ne zadovoljava želje obitelji i umanjuje njihovu bol, ali sam tražila način da se izbjegne politizacija unutar predškolskog odgoja – kazala je.
No, njezin kolega Zoričić drugačijim je tonom komentirao to što se očekivana rasprava na inicijativu Mirne Kovačić nije našla na dnevnom redu.
- Ako se pokaže točnim da je prikupljanje potpisa organizirano upravo taj dan samo da bi se razbila inicijativa koju sam pokrenuo, onda je bolje da takvi ljudi ne odlučuju o povratku imena vrtiću.
Ako bi to bilo točno, radilo bi se o političkim huljama, a takvi ne mogu odlučivati o heroini – oštro i kratko je kazao Zoričić.

Među čak 83 točke dnevnog reda na najavljenoj sjednici Gradskog vijeća, posljednjoj koja će se održati u ovoj godini, neće se naći prijedlog HNS-ove vijećnice Mirne Kovačić da se vrtiću "Tamarin" ostavi postojeće ime te da se na tu zgradu postavi spomen-ploča Palmini Piplović, antifašistkinji koja je otpor nacistima u ranu jesen 1944. godine, ni tri tjedna prije oslobođenja grada, platila svojim mladim životom.
Podsjetimo, na istoj sjednici Gradskog vijeća koja se održala krajem listopada prikupljali su se potpisi za dvije različite inicijative vezane uz ime te pedagoške ustanove.
Vijećnik Ante Zoričić (Popravi grad) htio je raspravu o povratku imena vrtića "Palmina Piplović" uvrstiti u dnevni red sljedeće radne sjednice, ali je nekoliko dana nakon izvijestio javnost da u tome nije uspio.
Kazao je da je vijećnica Kovačić prikupila potpise za raspravu o postavljanju spomen-ploče na zgradu te ustanove, ali ne i o povratku starog imena tog vrtića.
No, jučer je stigla najava za sljedeću sjednicu, a među točkama dnevnog reda nema ni spomena o Palmini Piplović i dječjem vrtiću ispod marjanske Vidilice koji je izgrađen na didovini te heroine.
Zašto je odjednom stala inicijativa oko koje se prije više od mjesec dana digla velika prašina, zbog čega je reagirala i udruga branitelja, a govorilo se kako se u pozadini nalazi – HDZ?
Upitali smo vijećnicu Kovačić zašto nije predala prikupljene potpise, na što nam je ona kazala da se oporavljala od zaraze koronavirusom tako da "nije razmišljala o inicijativi".

- Vidjet ćemo što će biti s tim, ja ću razgovarati s članovima njezine obitelji (Palmine Piplović op. G.R.) da vidim kakva su njihova mišljenja o tome. Ništa se ne može riješiti bez kompromisa, bez zajedničkog dogovora.
Poslije tog dana kada su se prikupljali potpisi sjednice nije bilo, a ja sam se u međuvremenu razboljela – kazala je HNS-ova vijećnica.
Zašto nije razgovarala s obitelji Palmine Piplović prije pokretanja inicijative, nije konkretno odgovorila.
- Većina građana i ljudi s kojima sam razgovarala imaju mišljenje da će promjenom imena vrtića doći do toga da će brojne udruge tražiti promjene naziva škola, vrtića…
Zato sam rekla da moramo krenuti s nekim kompromisnim rješenjem koje možda ne zadovoljava želje obitelji i umanjuje njihovu bol, ali sam tražila način da se izbjegne politizacija unutar predškolskog odgoja – kazala je.
No, njezin kolega Zoričić drugačijim je tonom komentirao to što se očekivana rasprava na inicijativu Mirne Kovačić nije našla na dnevnom redu.
- Ako se pokaže točnim da je prikupljanje potpisa organizirano upravo taj dan samo da bi se razbila inicijativa koju sam pokrenuo, onda je bolje da takvi ljudi ne odlučuju o povratku imena vrtiću.
Ako bi to bilo točno, radilo bi se o političkim huljama, a takvi ne mogu odlučivati o heroini – oštro i kratko je kazao Zoričić.
