Tužna splitska priča o okršajima neprocjenjive svjetske baštine koju štiti UNESCO i lokalnih ugostitelja kojima stranu drži gradska vlast, u svom novom nastavku dobila je očekivan rasplet. "Deblji kraj", suprotno nedavnim uvjeravanjima iz Banovine, ponovno je izvukao spomenik nulte kategorije.
Nakon što smo ove zime otkrili kako je zbog cijevi za vodu koja je potrebna za rad škrinje za sladoled probijen stoljetni zid zapadnog ulaza u Dioklecijanovu palaču, Špiro Cokarić, pročelnik Upravnog odjela za komunalno gospodarstvo i redarstvo, najavio je za "Slobodnu Dalmaciju" kako je gradska uprava odlučna u namjeri da "do početka turističke sezone uvede barem malo reda na najživljim i najvrednijim punktovima povijesne jezgre".
- Dobili smo nove konzervatorske smjernice, već smo očistili prostor Ispod ure i on više neće izgledati isto. Sladoled i škrinje definitivno odlaze s tog mjesta, a još ćemo vidjeti što napraviti sa štekatima - rekao je tada, pa porekao sada šef komunalaca.
Pokušali smo saznati što je kumovalo dramatičnom preokretu, no iz Banovine su se odlučili da nam neće odgovoriti na poslani upit. Zato smo se jučer mogli uvjeriti kako je sporna cijev koja spaja "Bobisovu" slastičarnicu i škrinju za prodaju sladoleda u Željeznim vratima ponovno u funkciji, tek je "skrivena" betonskim pitarom za cvijeće.
Suncobrani su rašireni, stolovi i sjedalice poredani, a ograda koja ih razdvaja postavljena. Rezultati nedavno okončane obnove te vrijedne lokacije koja se provodila u hladnijim mjesecima stavljeni su u drugi plan pred naletom ugostiteljske mašinerije.
Sve se to događa nakon što je i Ministarstvo kulture reagiralo, te proglasilo štekate kod Željeznih vrata Dioklecijanove palače potpuno bespravnima. Odgovornost sa sebe je skinuo i dr. Radoslav Bužančić, prvi čovjek Konzervatorskog odjela, koji je upozorio da gradska uprava punih pet godina nije usvojila njihove smjernice prema kojima bi od ugostiteljske opreme potpuno trebalo osloboditi i vrh Pjace, Poljanu kraljice Jelene i prostor Peristila.
"Sve je isto ka i lani" riječi su hita u čijem ritmu možemo uplesati u još jednu turističku sezonu.

Tužna splitska priča o okršajima neprocjenjive svjetske baštine koju štiti UNESCO i lokalnih ugostitelja kojima stranu drži gradska vlast, u svom novom nastavku dobila je očekivan rasplet. "Deblji kraj", suprotno nedavnim uvjeravanjima iz Banovine, ponovno je izvukao spomenik nulte kategorije.
Nakon što smo ove zime otkrili kako je zbog cijevi za vodu koja je potrebna za rad škrinje za sladoled probijen stoljetni zid zapadnog ulaza u Dioklecijanovu palaču, Špiro Cokarić, pročelnik Upravnog odjela za komunalno gospodarstvo i redarstvo, najavio je za "Slobodnu Dalmaciju" kako je gradska uprava odlučna u namjeri da "do početka turističke sezone uvede barem malo reda na najživljim i najvrednijim punktovima povijesne jezgre".
- Dobili smo nove konzervatorske smjernice, već smo očistili prostor Ispod ure i on više neće izgledati isto. Sladoled i škrinje definitivno odlaze s tog mjesta, a još ćemo vidjeti što napraviti sa štekatima - rekao je tada, pa porekao sada šef komunalaca.
Pokušali smo saznati što je kumovalo dramatičnom preokretu, no iz Banovine su se odlučili da nam neće odgovoriti na poslani upit. Zato smo se jučer mogli uvjeriti kako je sporna cijev koja spaja "Bobisovu" slastičarnicu i škrinju za prodaju sladoleda u Željeznim vratima ponovno u funkciji, tek je "skrivena" betonskim pitarom za cvijeće.
Suncobrani su rašireni, stolovi i sjedalice poredani, a ograda koja ih razdvaja postavljena. Rezultati nedavno okončane obnove te vrijedne lokacije koja se provodila u hladnijim mjesecima stavljeni su u drugi plan pred naletom ugostiteljske mašinerije.
Sve se to događa nakon što je i Ministarstvo kulture reagiralo, te proglasilo štekate kod Željeznih vrata Dioklecijanove palače potpuno bespravnima. Odgovornost sa sebe je skinuo i dr. Radoslav Bužančić, prvi čovjek Konzervatorskog odjela, koji je upozorio da gradska uprava punih pet godina nije usvojila njihove smjernice prema kojima bi od ugostiteljske opreme potpuno trebalo osloboditi i vrh Pjace, Poljanu kraljice Jelene i prostor Peristila.
"Sve je isto ka i lani" riječi su hita u čijem ritmu možemo uplesati u još jednu turističku sezonu.
