Iako je kao službeni uzrok smrti kraljice navedena duboka starost, Brandreth tvrdi da se zapravo radilo o rijetkom obliku karcinoma.

Kraljica Elizabeta II se posljednjih mjeseci svojega života borila s vrlo bolnim oblikom raka, stoji u najnovijoj biografiji najdugovječnije britanske vladarice, piše Mirror. Te je tvrdnje u svojoj novoj knjizi ‘Elizabeta: Intimni portret‘, iznio Gyles Brandreth, prijatelj princa Filipa.

Iako je kao službeni uzrok smrti kraljice Elizabete (96) navedena duboka starost, Brandreth tvrdi da se zapravo radilo o rijetkom obliku raka kostiju, prenosi Jutarnji list.

‘Čuo sam da kraljica ima oblik mijeloma - raka koštane srži - što bi moglo objasniti zašto je u zadnjoj godini života bila stalno umorna i imala problema s kretanjem. Najčešći simptom mijeloma je bol u kostima, posebno u zdjelici i leđima. Ta bolest najčešće pogađa starije osobe‘, kazao je.

Za bolest trenutačno nema lijeka, no neki od tretmana mogu spriječiti slabljenje kostiju i smanjiti ozbiljnost simptoma te oboljelima produžiti život za dva do tri mjeseca.

Kraljičin biograf također tvrdi da je Elizabeta imala periode kad se osjećala vrlo slabo, no unatoč tome bila je odlučna da nastavi sa svojim obavezama nakon smrti princa Filipa u travnju prošle godine.

Kad se osjećala jako loše, vrijeme si je kratila gledajući BBC-jevu seriju ‘Line of Duty‘, tvrdi njezin biograf.

‘Moj muž to ne bi odobrio‘, kazala je ne želeći nikakvo sažaljenje.

Prije smrti, kraljica je željela šestoro ljudi odlikovati Ordenom za zasluge. Šest je imena odabrala u rujnu, nedugo prije smrti, priopćila je Buckinghamska palača. Potvrda tih imena i dodjela ordena bila je prva službena dužnost novog kralja Charlesa III.

Među nagrađenima je i TV voditeljica i spisateljica barunica Floella Benjamin, kao i molekularni biolog i genetičar koji su dobili Nobelovu nagradu, nagrađivani arhitekt, bivša medicinska sestra koja je vodila liječenje bolesti srpastih stanica i jedan ugledni povjesničar, prenosi Jutarnji list.

Orden za zasluge je 1902. ustanovio Edward VII kako bi odao počast osobama koje su ostvarile značajna postignuća u područjima umjetnosti, znanosti, kulture i vojske.

Iako je kao službeni uzrok smrti kraljice navedena duboka starost, Brandreth tvrdi da se zapravo radilo o rijetkom obliku karcinoma.

Kraljica Elizabeta II se posljednjih mjeseci svojega života borila s vrlo bolnim oblikom raka, stoji u najnovijoj biografiji najdugovječnije britanske vladarice, piše Mirror. Te je tvrdnje u svojoj novoj knjizi ‘Elizabeta: Intimni portret‘, iznio Gyles Brandreth, prijatelj princa Filipa.

Iako je kao službeni uzrok smrti kraljice Elizabete (96) navedena duboka starost, Brandreth tvrdi da se zapravo radilo o rijetkom obliku raka kostiju, prenosi Jutarnji list.

‘Čuo sam da kraljica ima oblik mijeloma - raka koštane srži - što bi moglo objasniti zašto je u zadnjoj godini života bila stalno umorna i imala problema s kretanjem. Najčešći simptom mijeloma je bol u kostima, posebno u zdjelici i leđima. Ta bolest najčešće pogađa starije osobe‘, kazao je.

Za bolest trenutačno nema lijeka, no neki od tretmana mogu spriječiti slabljenje kostiju i smanjiti ozbiljnost simptoma te oboljelima produžiti život za dva do tri mjeseca.

Kraljičin biograf također tvrdi da je Elizabeta imala periode kad se osjećala vrlo slabo, no unatoč tome bila je odlučna da nastavi sa svojim obavezama nakon smrti princa Filipa u travnju prošle godine.

Kad se osjećala jako loše, vrijeme si je kratila gledajući BBC-jevu seriju ‘Line of Duty‘, tvrdi njezin biograf.

‘Moj muž to ne bi odobrio‘, kazala je ne želeći nikakvo sažaljenje.

Prije smrti, kraljica je željela šestoro ljudi odlikovati Ordenom za zasluge. Šest je imena odabrala u rujnu, nedugo prije smrti, priopćila je Buckinghamska palača. Potvrda tih imena i dodjela ordena bila je prva službena dužnost novog kralja Charlesa III.

Među nagrađenima je i TV voditeljica i spisateljica barunica Floella Benjamin, kao i molekularni biolog i genetičar koji su dobili Nobelovu nagradu, nagrađivani arhitekt, bivša medicinska sestra koja je vodila liječenje bolesti srpastih stanica i jedan ugledni povjesničar, prenosi Jutarnji list.

Orden za zasluge je 1902. ustanovio Edward VII kako bi odao počast osobama koje su ostvarile značajna postignuća u područjima umjetnosti, znanosti, kulture i vojske.

Iako je kao službeni uzrok smrti kraljice navedena duboka starost, Brandreth tvrdi da se zapravo radilo o rijetkom obliku karcinoma.

Kraljica Elizabeta II se posljednjih mjeseci svojega života borila s vrlo bolnim oblikom raka, stoji u najnovijoj biografiji najdugovječnije britanske vladarice, piše Mirror. Te je tvrdnje u svojoj novoj knjizi ‘Elizabeta: Intimni portret‘, iznio Gyles Brandreth, prijatelj princa Filipa.

Iako je kao službeni uzrok smrti kraljice Elizabete (96) navedena duboka starost, Brandreth tvrdi da se zapravo radilo o rijetkom obliku raka kostiju, prenosi Jutarnji list.
