S poslasticom "Licorice Pizza" dobili smo ranog kandidata za najbolji film godine. S Netflixovim trilerčićem "Besramno" ("Brazen") dobili smo, pak, kandidata za najgori film godine. "Besramno" je novi "Pod hipnozom" kad smo kod Netflixovih trilera.

Film se ponaša kao da se nije snimio nijedan psihološki/erotski triler od 1988., kad je objavljen roman "Brazen Virtue" Nore Roberts koji adaptira, a snimilo ih se mnoštvo, naročito u devedesetima, kad je u jednom takvome, s donje police videoteka, glumila i Alyssa Milano ("Poison Ivy 2").

Ovo je dosad najgori trilerski povratak u devedesete ("Voajeri", "Male stvari", "Fatalna") u recentnom "90's comeback" trendu. Djelce za trenutačni zaborav, predvidljivo, formulaično, bedasto, generično, drveno režirano i glumljeno, rječju besramno loše – povratak u trilerske devedesete, ali one videotečne "B" i "C" lige s Hallmark estetikom i naslovima na tragu Robertsičinih romana poput "Sacred Sins" i "Naked In Death".

Je li "Brazen" ispao takav namjerno ili nenamjerno, pitanje je sad. Prije ovo drugo. Gledatelj bi se svakako mogao bolje zabaviti ako promatra film iz nenamjerno autoparodijske "guilty pleasure" optike i traži tragove suzdržanog smijeha na licu glumaca, premda "Besramno" započinje u ozbiljnom, čak i metatekstualnom stilu.

Protagonistica je spisateljica Grace Miller (Milano, nekadašnja zvjezdica klasika "Komandos" i serije "Čarobnice") koja je specijalizirana za trilere. Grace upoznajemo na promociji njezinog novog romana nazvanog – "Brazen Virtue".

Slučaj nalik onima iz Graceinih romana dogodit će se u stvarnosti kad joj netko ubije sestru, profesoricu Kathleen (Emilie Ullerup) koja u slobodno vrijeme zarađuje kao "dominatrix" kodnog imena Desiree na sajtu za odrasle "Fantasy Inc." i u kontaktu je s klijentima preko "webcama".

Tko ju je ubio i zašto? Netko od "online" klijenata, možda učenika (Matthew Aaron Finlan, Daniel Diemer) ili podvornik u školi (Aaron Paul Stewart)? Je li to njezin bivši (David Lewis) s kojim se parniči oko skrbništva i na kojega odmah pada sumnja? Izgleda da nije kad još jedna "domina" strada i sluti se da "imamo serijskog ubojicu".

Iako "nije tvoj posao uhvatiti ubojicu", Grace se uključuje u istragu zajedno sa zgodnim policijskim detektivom Edom (Sam Page), inače njezinim susjedom s kojim je romantično povezana ili će to biti, te njegovim partnerom Benom (Malachi Weir). Jer, "moje su knjige postale bestseleri zato što mogu ući u um ubojice".

Dakako, nije problem što gledatelj treba suspendirati nevjericu da bi povjerovao kako bi spisateljica mogla raditi na slučaju, makar je dvostruko involvirana (umorena sestra, detektiv-ljubavnik). Problem je što bi gledatelj koji ima trilere u oku mogao ući u um ubojice prije Grace i likova, tj. naslutiti tko je i pogoditi preokret(e).

I problem je što film nije ni najmanje uzbudljiv i napaljiv da bi zadovoljio kao erotski triler kad seksi Grace odjene uski grudnjak i lateks "domine" kako bi namamila ubojicu. Što bi od jednog ovakvog filma napravili Brian De Palma ("Odjevena da ubije") i Paul Verhoeven ("Sirove strasti"), "sram" nas je i pomisliti.

Filmski povratak Alysse Milano?

"Brazen" bilježi dobru gledanost na Netflixu pa, uz malo sreće, oživi filmsku karijeru Alysse Milano koju rijetko gledamo u filmovima posljednjih godina i zadnji put smo je vidjeli 2018. u romantičnoj komediji "Mala Italija", gdje je imala sporednu ulogu.

S poslasticom "Licorice Pizza" dobili smo ranog kandidata za najbolji film godine. S Netflixovim trilerčićem "Besramno" ("Brazen") dobili smo, pak, kandidata za najgori film godine. "Besramno" je novi "Pod hipnozom" kad smo kod Netflixovih trilera.

Film se ponaša kao da se nije snimio nijedan psihološki/erotski triler od 1988., kad je objavljen roman "Brazen Virtue" Nore Roberts koji adaptira, a snimilo ih se mnoštvo, naročito u devedesetima, kad je u jednom takvome, s donje police videoteka, glumila i Alyssa Milano ("Poison Ivy 2").

Ovo je dosad najgori trilerski povratak u devedesete ("Voajeri", "Male stvari", "Fatalna") u recentnom "90's comeback" trendu. Djelce za trenutačni zaborav, predvidljivo, formulaično, bedasto, generično, drveno režirano i glumljeno, rječju besramno loše – povratak u trilerske devedesete, ali one videotečne "B" i "C" lige s Hallmark estetikom i naslovima na tragu Robertsičinih romana poput "Sacred Sins" i "Naked In Death".

Je li "Brazen" ispao takav namjerno ili nenamjerno, pitanje je sad. Prije ovo drugo. Gledatelj bi se svakako mogao bolje zabaviti ako promatra film iz nenamjerno autoparodijske "guilty pleasure" optike i traži tragove suzdržanog smijeha na licu glumaca, premda "Besramno" započinje u ozbiljnom, čak i metatekstualnom stilu.

Protagonistica je spisateljica Grace Miller (Milano, nekadašnja zvjezdica klasika "Komandos" i serije "Čarobnice") koja je specijalizirana za trilere. Grace upoznajemo na promociji njezinog novog romana nazvanog – "Brazen Virtue".

Slučaj nalik onima iz Graceinih romana dogodit će se u stvarnosti kad joj netko ubije sestru, profesoricu Kathleen (Emilie Ullerup) koja u slobodno vrijeme zarađuje kao "dominatrix" kodnog imena Desiree na sajtu za odrasle "Fantasy Inc." i u kontaktu je s klijentima preko "webcama".

Tko ju je ubio i zašto? Netko od "online" klijenata, možda učenika (Matthew Aaron Finlan, Daniel Diemer) ili podvornik u školi (Aaron Paul Stewart)? Je li to njezin bivši (David Lewis) s kojim se parniči oko skrbništva i na kojega odmah pada sumnja? Izgleda da nije kad još jedna "domina" strada i sluti se da "imamo serijskog ubojicu".

Iako "nije tvoj posao uhvatiti ubojicu", Grace se uključuje u istragu zajedno sa zgodnim policijskim detektivom Edom (Sam Page), inače njezinim susjedom s kojim je romantično povezana ili će to biti, te njegovim partnerom Benom (Malachi Weir). Jer, "moje su knjige postale bestseleri zato što mogu ući u um ubojice".

Dakako, nije problem što gledatelj treba suspendirati nevjericu da bi povjerovao kako bi spisateljica mogla raditi na slučaju, makar je dvostruko involvirana (umorena sestra, detektiv-ljubavnik). Problem je što bi gledatelj koji ima trilere u oku mogao ući u um ubojice prije Grace i likova, tj. naslutiti tko je i pogoditi preokret(e).

I problem je što film nije ni najmanje uzbudljiv i napaljiv da bi zadovoljio kao erotski triler kad seksi Grace odjene uski grudnjak i lateks "domine" kako bi namamila ubojicu. Što bi od jednog ovakvog filma napravili Brian De Palma ("Odjevena da ubije") i Paul Verhoeven ("Sirove strasti"), "sram" nas je i pomisliti.

Filmski povratak Alysse Milano?

"Brazen" bilježi dobru gledanost na Netflixu pa, uz malo sreće, oživi filmsku karijeru Alysse Milano koju rijetko gledamo u filmovima posljednjih godina i zadnji put smo je vidjeli 2018. u romantičnoj komediji "Mala Italija", gdje je imala sporednu ulogu.

‘Besramno‘: Triler bez srama

S poslasticom "Licorice Pizza" dobili smo ranog kandidata za najbolji film godine. S Netflixovim trilerčićem "Besramno" ("Brazen") dobili smo, pak, kandidata za najgori film godine. "Besramno" je novi "Pod hipnozom" kad smo kod Netflixovih trilera.

Film se ponaša kao da se nije snimio nijedan psihološki/erotski triler od 1988., kad je objavljen roman "Brazen Virtue" Nore Roberts koji adaptira, a snimilo ih se mnoštvo, naročito u devedesetima, kad je u jednom takvome, s donje police videoteka, glumila i Alyssa Milano ("Poison Ivy 2").
