Na četiri i pol godine zatvora osuđen je albanski narko boss Selamet Mehmetaj. Riječ je o kriminalcu koji je uživao u svojoj ozloglašenosti. Svojevremeno se hvalio da je jednoj osobi odsjekao prste.

Mehmetaj je sebe nazivao đavlom. "Pao" je zbog nezakonite proizvodnje kanabisa. U proizvodnju kanabisa bili su uključeni migranti koji su u Velikoj Britaniji distribuirali drogu vrijednu milijune funti.

Istraga je pokrenuta i protiv njegovog brata Diora koji je u Velikoj Britaniji tražio azil, ali ga nije dobio. Tužitelji su Diora opisali bratovom desnom rukom. Policijska istraga je pokrenuta nakon što su istraživački novinari lista Daily Mail tobože pokušali kupiti velike količine kanabisa. Tadašnji britanski premijer Boris Johnson je nakon novinarskog angažmana zatražio istragu.

- Kada je policija konačno izvršila raciju u jednoj od njegovih tvornica, u studenome 2022., policajci su mogli namirisati kanabis još dok su se približavali zgradi. Unutra su zatekli Mehmetaja i Diora s dvojicom suradnika koji su klečali na koljenima i "njegovali" 90 biljaka kanabisa. Upad u drugu tvornicu nekoliko dana kasnije otkrio je još 50 biljaka ... Ukupna ulična vrijednost nađene droge iznosila je oko 166.000 funti - piše Daily Mail.

No, i poslije novinarske istrage je nastavio da se bavi trgovinom narkoticima i uživa u raskalašenom životu. Čak se pojavio i na jednoj albanskoj televizijskoj postaji - bio je sugovornik u 20-minutnom intervjuu gledane emisije "Glamour Zone". Riječ je o emisiji iz svijeta showbusinessa. 

Za prijevoz narkotika koristio je terenac Jeep Cherokee vrijedan 70.000 funti na kojem je često mijenjao registarske oznake kako bi izbjegao to da ga nadležni identificiraju.

Mehmetaj je 2011. doselio u Veliku Britaniju iz albanskog grada Tropoje, sa sjeveroistoka zemlje, unutar povijesne etnografske regije Đakovačke visoravni. Po dolasku je na društvenim mrežama ismijavao zakon. Tijekom novinarske istrage je priznao da je kriminalom stekao Mercedes CLA AMG vrijedan 50.000 funti, Audi RS7 i bolid Formule 3.

Ismijao je to što je policija jednom prilikom propustila zaplijeniti narkotike jer u njegovom petosobnom stanu nije pretražila jednu sobu. Govoreći o čovjeku, kojem je odsjekao dva prsta, rekao je da je nakon toga "spavao kao beba".

- Strpao sam ga u podrum, tukao tri puta dnevno, a onda sam mu odsjekao dva prsta. Nakon toga sam spavao kao beba. Nije me bilo briga - kazao je za britanski tabloid.

Na četiri i pol godine zatvora osuđen je albanski narko boss Selamet Mehmetaj. Riječ je o kriminalcu koji je uživao u svojoj ozloglašenosti. Svojevremeno se hvalio da je jednoj osobi odsjekao prste.

Mehmetaj je sebe nazivao đavlom. "Pao" je zbog nezakonite proizvodnje kanabisa. U proizvodnju kanabisa bili su uključeni migranti koji su u Velikoj Britaniji distribuirali drogu vrijednu milijune funti.

Istraga je pokrenuta i protiv njegovog brata Diora koji je u Velikoj Britaniji tražio azil, ali ga nije dobio. Tužitelji su Diora opisali bratovom desnom rukom. Policijska istraga je pokrenuta nakon što su istraživački novinari lista Daily Mail tobože pokušali kupiti velike količine kanabisa. Tadašnji britanski premijer Boris Johnson je nakon novinarskog angažmana zatražio istragu.

- Kada je policija konačno izvršila raciju u jednoj od njegovih tvornica, u studenome 2022., policajci su mogli namirisati kanabis još dok su se približavali zgradi. Unutra su zatekli Mehmetaja i Diora s dvojicom suradnika koji su klečali na koljenima i "njegovali" 90 biljaka kanabisa. Upad u drugu tvornicu nekoliko dana kasnije otkrio je još 50 biljaka ... Ukupna ulična vrijednost nađene droge iznosila je oko 166.000 funti - piše Daily Mail.

No, i poslije novinarske istrage je nastavio da se bavi trgovinom narkoticima i uživa u raskalašenom životu. Čak se pojavio i na jednoj albanskoj televizijskoj postaji - bio je sugovornik u 20-minutnom intervjuu gledane emisije "Glamour Zone". Riječ je o emisiji iz svijeta showbusinessa. 

Za prijevoz narkotika koristio je terenac Jeep Cherokee vrijedan 70.000 funti na kojem je često mijenjao registarske oznake kako bi izbjegao to da ga nadležni identificiraju.

Mehmetaj je 2011. doselio u Veliku Britaniju iz albanskog grada Tropoje, sa sjeveroistoka zemlje, unutar povijesne etnografske regije Đakovačke visoravni. Po dolasku je na društvenim mrežama ismijavao zakon. Tijekom novinarske istrage je priznao da je kriminalom stekao Mercedes CLA AMG vrijedan 50.000 funti, Audi RS7 i bolid Formule 3.

Ismijao je to što je policija jednom prilikom propustila zaplijeniti narkotike jer u njegovom petosobnom stanu nije pretražila jednu sobu. Govoreći o čovjeku, kojem je odsjekao dva prsta, rekao je da je nakon toga "spavao kao beba".

- Strpao sam ga u podrum, tukao tri puta dnevno, a onda sam mu odsjekao dva prsta. Nakon toga sam spavao kao beba. Nije me bilo briga - kazao je za britanski tabloid.

Na četiri i pol godine zatvora osuđen je albanski narko boss Selamet Mehmetaj. Riječ je o kriminalcu koji je uživao u svojoj ozloglašenosti. Svojevremeno se hvalio da je jednoj osobi odsjekao prste.

Mehmetaj je sebe nazivao đavlom. "Pao" je zbog nezakonite proizvodnje kanabisa. U proizvodnju kanabisa bili su uključeni migranti koji su u Velikoj Britaniji distribuirali drogu vrijednu milijune funti.

Istraga je pokrenuta i protiv njegovog brata Diora koji je u Velikoj Britaniji tražio azil, ali ga nije dobio. Tužitelji su Diora opisali bratovom desnom rukom. Policijska istraga je pokrenuta nakon što su istraživački novinari lista Daily Mail tobože pokušali kupiti velike količine kanabisa. Tadašnji britanski premijer Boris Johnson je nakon novinarskog angažmana zatražio istragu.

- Kada je policija konačno izvršila raciju u jednoj od njegovih tvornica, u studenome 2022., policajci su mogli namirisati kanabis još dok su se približavali zgradi. Unutra su zatekli Mehmetaja i Diora s dvojicom suradnika koji su klečali na koljenima i "njegovali" 90 biljaka kanabisa. Upad u drugu tvornicu nekoliko dana kasnije otkrio je još 50 biljaka ... Ukupna ulična vrijednost nađene droge iznosila je oko 166.000 funti - piše Daily Mail.
