Čelnik Svjetske zdravstvene organizacije (WHO) rekao je da kineska politika "nula COVID-a" nije održiva, u jednom od rijetkih javnih komentarima s te adrese o vladinom postupanju s pandemijom u Kini – javlja Times.
Kineske vlasti provode strogu politiku eliminacije zaraze tijekom cijele pandemije i nametnule su prestroge mjere izolacije u gradovima, uključujući Šangaj i Peking kao odgovor na epidemije.
Kina odbacuje svaku kritiku svog pristupa i poručuje da će se usprotiviti svima koji "iskrivljuju, dovode u pitanje ili odbacuju" njihov odgovor na COVID-19. Tamošnji čelnici tvrde da bi popuštanje kontrole dovelo do zaraze velikih razmjera.
Međutim, Svjetska zdravstvena organizacija je dovela u pitanje takav stav Kine, a njezin čelnik Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus je rekao: "Ne mislimo da je on održiv s obzirom na ponašanje virusa. Razgovarali smo o ovom pitanju s kineskim stručnjacima i napomenuli da taj pristup neće biti održiv. Mislim da bi određeni pomak bio vrlo važan.”
Mike Ryan, ravnatelj WHO-a za hitne slučajeve, rekao je da se kineska kruta politika u odnosu na ljudskih prava također treba uzeti u obzir, uz učinak na gospodarstvo zemlje. Omikron, varijanta virusa koja je mnogo zaraznija od prethodnih, potkopala je takve pokušaje suzbijanja, rekli su stručnjaci.
Šangaj, koji ima 25 milijuna stanovnika, vitalno je središte za trgovinu, financije i proizvodnju, ali je već šest tjedana stavljen u karantenu, zbog čega su stanovnici jako frustrirani. "Tesla" je zaustavio većinu proizvodnje u svojoj tvornici u tom gradu, zbog problema s osiguravanjem dijelova za svoja električna vozila.
U četvrti Fengxian, prigradskom području u južnom Šangaju, ukinute su dozvole stanovnicima da napuste svoja naselja, dok su trgovine i supermarketi ne rade, osim dostave. Pobjeći iz grada gotovo je nemoguće. Međutim, internetom su počeli kružiti neslužbeni vodiči s detaljima o tome kako zaobići kontrole tvrdog lockdowna, a savjeti o tome kako se naći u nekom od vlakova ili aviona koji ipak napuštaju Šangaj bili su vrlo popularni na društvenim mrežama.
Tisuće ljudi u Šangaju prisiljene su na smještaj u izolacijskim centrima nakon što je ustanovljeno da su pozitivni ili da su bili u kontaktu sa zaraženom osobom, što je standardna procedura u kineskoj doktrini "nula COVID-a".

Tong Zhiwei, profesor ustavnog prava, objavio je članak u kojem poziva Šangaj da ukine ono što je nazvao "pretjeranim mjerama prevencije pandemije", kao što je tvrda izolacija stanovnika i prisiljavanje da predaju ključeve svojih domova, rekavši da su zahtjevi u suprotnosti s vladavinom prava.
No, taj članak je uklonjen s interneta jer vlada cenzurira svaku kritiku svoje pllitike. Kineska vladajuća Komunistička partija, s jednim okom na partijski kongres u jesen, ne pokazuje volju zap zaokretom.
Peking nije pošteđen. Masovno testira milijune stanovnika u pokušaju da spriječi izbijanje zaraze slične onoj u Šangaju. Glavni grad, koji je u ponedjeljak zabilježio samo 74 nova slučaja, zaključao je pojedinačne zgrade i stambene komplekse, zatvorio oko 60 stanica metroa i zabranio rad restoranima, dopuštajući samo hranu za van i dostavu.
Epidemija nije eksplodirala, ali se nije ni prestala širiti. Xu Hejian, glasnogovornik vlade, opisao je situaciju jučer kao zastoj i rekao da grad mora nastaviti sa strogim mjerama.
Utjecaj ovakvog kineskog pristupa epidemiji osjetio se na tržištima diljem svijeta. Drugo najveće gospodarstvo trpi posljedice ove izolacije, a ulagače je zabrinuo i rast kamatnih stopa u SAD-u.

Čelnik Svjetske zdravstvene organizacije (WHO) rekao je da kineska politika "nula COVID-a" nije održiva, u jednom od rijetkih javnih komentarima s te adrese o vladinom postupanju s pandemijom u Kini – javlja Times.
Kineske vlasti provode strogu politiku eliminacije zaraze tijekom cijele pandemije i nametnule su prestroge mjere izolacije u gradovima, uključujući Šangaj i Peking kao odgovor na epidemije.
Kina odbacuje svaku kritiku svog pristupa i poručuje da će se usprotiviti svima koji "iskrivljuju, dovode u pitanje ili odbacuju" njihov odgovor na COVID-19. Tamošnji čelnici tvrde da bi popuštanje kontrole dovelo do zaraze velikih razmjera.
Međutim, Svjetska zdravstvena organizacija je dovela u pitanje takav stav Kine, a njezin čelnik Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus je rekao: "Ne mislimo da je on održiv s obzirom na ponašanje virusa. Razgovarali smo o ovom pitanju s kineskim stručnjacima i napomenuli da taj pristup neće biti održiv. Mislim da bi određeni pomak bio vrlo važan.”
Mike Ryan, ravnatelj WHO-a za hitne slučajeve, rekao je da se kineska kruta politika u odnosu na ljudskih prava također treba uzeti u obzir, uz učinak na gospodarstvo zemlje. Omikron, varijanta virusa koja je mnogo zaraznija od prethodnih, potkopala je takve pokušaje suzbijanja, rekli su stručnjaci.
Šangaj, koji ima 25 milijuna stanovnika, vitalno je središte za trgovinu, financije i proizvodnju, ali je već šest tjedana stavljen u karantenu, zbog čega su stanovnici jako frustrirani. "Tesla" je zaustavio većinu proizvodnje u svojoj tvornici u tom gradu, zbog problema s osiguravanjem dijelova za svoja električna vozila.
U četvrti Fengxian, prigradskom području u južnom Šangaju, ukinute su dozvole stanovnicima da napuste svoja naselja, dok su trgovine i supermarketi ne rade, osim dostave. Pobjeći iz grada gotovo je nemoguće. Međutim, internetom su počeli kružiti neslužbeni vodiči s detaljima o tome kako zaobići kontrole tvrdog lockdowna, a savjeti o tome kako se naći u nekom od vlakova ili aviona koji ipak napuštaju Šangaj bili su vrlo popularni na društvenim mrežama.
Tisuće ljudi u Šangaju prisiljene su na smještaj u izolacijskim centrima nakon što je ustanovljeno da su pozitivni ili da su bili u kontaktu sa zaraženom osobom, što je standardna procedura u kineskoj doktrini "nula COVID-a".

Tong Zhiwei, profesor ustavnog prava, objavio je članak u kojem poziva Šangaj da ukine ono što je nazvao "pretjeranim mjerama prevencije pandemije", kao što je tvrda izolacija stanovnika i prisiljavanje da predaju ključeve svojih domova, rekavši da su zahtjevi u suprotnosti s vladavinom prava.
No, taj članak je uklonjen s interneta jer vlada cenzurira svaku kritiku svoje pllitike. Kineska vladajuća Komunistička partija, s jednim okom na partijski kongres u jesen, ne pokazuje volju zap zaokretom.
Peking nije pošteđen. Masovno testira milijune stanovnika u pokušaju da spriječi izbijanje zaraze slične onoj u Šangaju. Glavni grad, koji je u ponedjeljak zabilježio samo 74 nova slučaja, zaključao je pojedinačne zgrade i stambene komplekse, zatvorio oko 60 stanica metroa i zabranio rad restoranima, dopuštajući samo hranu za van i dostavu.
Epidemija nije eksplodirala, ali se nije ni prestala širiti. Xu Hejian, glasnogovornik vlade, opisao je situaciju jučer kao zastoj i rekao da grad mora nastaviti sa strogim mjerama.
Utjecaj ovakvog kineskog pristupa epidemiji osjetio se na tržištima diljem svijeta. Drugo najveće gospodarstvo trpi posljedice ove izolacije, a ulagače je zabrinuo i rast kamatnih stopa u SAD-u.
