Nakon napada u kojem je izraelskoj vojsci cilj bio gađati domove čelnika Hamasa oštećene su glavne ceste i dalekovodi, piše BBC.
Iz Hamasovih podataka kojima raspolaže njihovo ministarstvo zdravstva otkriva se kako je u periodu od tjedan dana ozlijeđeno 305 osoba, a ubijeno 200 ljudi od kojih 59 djece i 35 žena.

Administracija Joe Bidena odobrila je moguću prodaju oružja Izraelu u vrijednosti 735 milijuna dolara, a izvori u Kongresu su u ponedjeljak kazali da ne očekuju protivljenje tom ugovoru usprkos sukobu između Izraela i palestinskih ekstremista.
Isti izvori navode da je Kongres o komercijalnoj prodaji službeno obaviješten 5. svibnja.
Prema američkom zakonu, nakon službene obavijesti Kongres može u roku od 15 dana izraziti svoje protivljenje koje se, usprkos trenutnim sukobima između dviju strana, ne očekuje.
Ugovor vrijedan 735 milijuna dolara odnosi se na prodaju sofisticiranog, precizno navođenog oružja.
Snažna potpora Izraelu je ključna vrijednost za demokratske i republikanske članove Kongresa, iako je nekolicina članova krajnje lijevog krila demokrata pozvala na oštriji pristup prema izraelskoj vladi Benjamina Netanyahua.
Američki zakon dopušta Kongresu da se usprotivi prodaji oružja, ali to u ovom slučaju nije vjerojatno.

Izrael je jedna od nekoliko zemalja s kojom se ugovori o oružju odobravaju ubrzanim postupkom, a eventualni rok za prigovor bi istekao prije nego što bi zakonodavci mogli donijeti rezoluciju o neodobravanju prodaje oružja.

Administracija Joe Bidena odobrila je moguću prodaju oružja Izraelu u vrijednosti 735 milijuna dolara, a izvori u Kongresu su u ponedjeljak kazali da ne očekuju protivljenje tom ugovoru usprkos sukobu između Izraela i palestinskih ekstremista.
Isti izvori navode da je Kongres o komercijalnoj prodaji službeno obaviješten 5. svibnja.
Prema američkom zakonu, nakon službene obavijesti Kongres može u roku od 15 dana izraziti svoje protivljenje koje se, usprkos trenutnim sukobima između dviju strana, ne očekuje.
Ugovor vrijedan 735 milijuna dolara odnosi se na prodaju sofisticiranog, precizno navođenog oružja.
Snažna potpora Izraelu je ključna vrijednost za demokratske i republikanske članove Kongresa, iako je nekolicina članova krajnje lijevog krila demokrata pozvala na oštriji pristup prema izraelskoj vladi Benjamina Netanyahua.
Američki zakon dopušta Kongresu da se usprotivi prodaji oružja, ali to u ovom slučaju nije vjerojatno.

Izrael je jedna od nekoliko zemalja s kojom se ugovori o oružju odobravaju ubrzanim postupkom, a eventualni rok za prigovor bi istekao prije nego što bi zakonodavci mogli donijeti rezoluciju o neodobravanju prodaje oružja.
