U napadu u istočnoj Burkini Faso u četvrtak su poginula 33 vojnika, a 12 ih je ozlijeđeno, priopćila je vlada pod vodstvom vojske, što predstavlja najnoviji val nasilja u zemlji koja se bori protiv džihadističke pobune.

Napad u četvrtak ujutro bio je usmjeren na vojni odred u gradu Ougarou na istoku Burkine Faso, a kako je priopćila vojska, opkoljeni vojnici su ubili najmanje 40 "terorista".

Burkina Faso jedna je od nekoliko zapadnoafričkih zemalja koje se bore protiv nasilne islamističke pobune koja se proširila iz susjednog Malija tijekom proteklog desetljeća, ubivši tisuće i raselivši preko dva milijuna ljudi, podsjeća Reuters.

Nasilje u zemlji je posljednjih mjeseci poraslo dok se vlasti bore da povrate kontrolu na terenu, a u međuvremenu su i oružane snage optužene za neselektivno ubijanje civila tijekom misija protiv pobunjenika.

Tako, prema informacijama Ujedinjenih naroda, muškarci odjeveni u vojne uniforme prošlog su tjedna ubili najmanje 150 ljudi tijekom napada na selo u sjevernoj Burkini Faso.

Vojna vlada je taj napad osudila i rekla da će istražiti događaje.

Kako navodi Reuters, frustracije zbog neuspjeha vlasti u zaštiti civila potaknule su dva državna udara prošle godine.

U napadu u istočnoj Burkini Faso u četvrtak su poginula 33 vojnika, a 12 ih je ozlijeđeno, priopćila je vlada pod vodstvom vojske, što predstavlja najnoviji val nasilja u zemlji koja se bori protiv džihadističke pobune.

Napad u četvrtak ujutro bio je usmjeren na vojni odred u gradu Ougarou na istoku Burkine Faso, a kako je priopćila vojska, opkoljeni vojnici su ubili najmanje 40 "terorista".

Burkina Faso jedna je od nekoliko zapadnoafričkih zemalja koje se bore protiv nasilne islamističke pobune koja se proširila iz susjednog Malija tijekom proteklog desetljeća, ubivši tisuće i raselivši preko dva milijuna ljudi, podsjeća Reuters.

Nasilje u zemlji je posljednjih mjeseci poraslo dok se vlasti bore da povrate kontrolu na terenu, a u međuvremenu su i oružane snage optužene za neselektivno ubijanje civila tijekom misija protiv pobunjenika.

Tako, prema informacijama Ujedinjenih naroda, muškarci odjeveni u vojne uniforme prošlog su tjedna ubili najmanje 150 ljudi tijekom napada na selo u sjevernoj Burkini Faso.

Vojna vlada je taj napad osudila i rekla da će istražiti događaje.

Kako navodi Reuters, frustracije zbog neuspjeha vlasti u zaštiti civila potaknule su dva državna udara prošle godine.

U Burkini Faso u borbi s džihadistima poginula 33 vojnika, zemlja bilježi velik porast nasilja

U napadu u istočnoj Burkini Faso u četvrtak su poginula 33 vojnika, a 12 ih je ozlijeđeno, priopćila je vlada pod vodstvom vojske, što predstavlja najnoviji val nasilja u zemlji koja se bori protiv džihadističke pobune.

Napad u četvrtak ujutro bio je usmjeren na vojni odred u gradu Ougarou na istoku Burkine Faso, a kako je priopćila vojska, opkoljeni vojnici su ubili najmanje 40 "terorista".

Burkina Faso jedna je od nekoliko zapadnoafričkih zemalja koje se bore protiv nasilne islamističke pobune koja se proširila iz susjednog Malija tijekom proteklog desetljeća, ubivši tisuće i raselivši preko dva milijuna ljudi, podsjeća Reuters.

Nasilje u zemlji je posljednjih mjeseci poraslo dok se vlasti bore da povrate kontrolu na terenu, a u međuvremenu su i oružane snage optužene za...
