Talibanski borci u subotu su pretukli nekoliko prosvjednica kundacima te su pritom pucali u zrak, nastojeći nasilno rastjerali malobrojne okupljene u glavnome afganistanskom gradu, samo nekoliko dana uoči prve godišnjice povratka ekstremnih islamista na vlast.

Otkako su preuzeli vlast u zemlji 15. kolovoza prošle godine, talibani su ukinuli brojna prava za koja su se izborile afganistanske žene za vrijeme dvadesetogodišnje američke vojne intervencije u Afganistanu.

Četrdesetak žena je, izvikujući "kruh, rad i sloboda", marširalo ispred zgrade ministarstva obrazovanja u Kabulu, no ubrzo su ih talibani rastjerali pucajući iz oružja u zrak, izvijestio je dopisnik AFP-a.

Neke prosvjednice, koje su se pokušale skloniti u najbliže trgovine talibanski su borci progonili i tukli kundacima.

Prosvjednice su nosile transparent s natpisom: "15. kolovoza je crni dan" te su tražile pravo na rad i sudjelovanje u politici zemlje.

"Pravda, pravda! Dosta nam je neznanja!", skandirale su okupljene žene, a mnoge među njima nisu nosile pokrivala za lice.

"Nažalost, ubrzo su stigli talibani iz obavještajne službe i pucali su u zrak. Rastjerali su djevojke, potrgali naše transparente i mnogim djevojkama oduzeli mobitele", rekla je Zholia Parsi, jedna od organizatorica prosvjeda.

Talibani su pretukli i neke novinarke koje su pratile prosvjed, prvi skup žena u nekoliko mjeseci, rekao je AFP-ov dopisnik s mjesta događaja.

Nakon što su prošle godine preuzeli vlast u zemlji, talibani su stanovnicima obećali blažu verziju strogih islamističkih zakona koji su obilježili njihovu prvu vladavinu od 1996. do 2001. godine.

No vrlo su brzo nametnuli brojna ograničenja, posebno kada su žene u pitanju, želeći provesti svoju strogu viziju islama. 

Deseci tisuća djevojaka ne smiju više pohađati srednje škole, a ženama je zabranjen i rad u državnim službama. Među ostalim, talibani su im zabranili da putuju same na duga putovanja. Javne vrtove i parkove u glavnome gradu mogu posjećivati isključivo u danima kada ondje nema muškaraca.

U svibnju je vrhovni vođa zemlje i šef talibana, Hibatullah Akhundzada, donio odredbu da se žene u javnosti moraju u potpunosti pokriti, čak i po licu - najbolje burkom. 

Ujedinjeni narodi i skupine za ljudska prava opetovano su kritizirali talibansku vladu zbog nametanja ograničenja ženama.

Ovakva politika ukazuje na "obrazac apsolutne rodne segregacije, a cilj joj je učiniti žene potpuno nevidljivima u društvu", rekao je novinarima za vrijeme posjeta u svibnju Richard Bennett, posebni izvjestitelj UN-a za ljudska prava u Afganistanu.

Neke su se Afganistanke u početku pokušale manjim prosvjedima oduprijeti talibanima, no oni su vrlo brzo priveli organizatorice skupova, a kasnije su negirali da su uhićene.

Talibanski borci u subotu su pretukli nekoliko prosvjednica kundacima te su pritom pucali u zrak, nastojeći nasilno rastjerali malobrojne okupljene u glavnome afganistanskom gradu, samo nekoliko dana uoči prve godišnjice povratka ekstremnih islamista na vlast.

Otkako su preuzeli vlast u zemlji 15. kolovoza prošle godine, talibani su ukinuli brojna prava za koja su se izborile afganistanske žene za vrijeme dvadesetogodišnje američke vojne intervencije u Afganistanu.

Četrdesetak žena je, izvikujući "kruh, rad i sloboda", marširalo ispred zgrade ministarstva obrazovanja u Kabulu, no ubrzo su ih talibani rastjerali pucajući iz oružja u zrak, izvijestio je dopisnik AFP-a.

Neke prosvjednice, koje su se pokušale skloniti u najbliže trgovine talibanski su borci progonili i tukli kundacima.

Prosvjednice su nosile transparent s natpisom: "15. kolovoza je crni dan" te su tražile pravo na rad i sudjelovanje u politici zemlje.

"Pravda, pravda! Dosta nam je neznanja!", skandirale su okupljene žene, a mnoge među njima nisu nosile pokrivala za lice.

"Nažalost, ubrzo su stigli talibani iz obavještajne službe i pucali su u zrak. Rastjerali su djevojke, potrgali naše transparente i mnogim djevojkama oduzeli mobitele", rekla je Zholia Parsi, jedna od organizatorica prosvjeda.

Talibani su pretukli i neke novinarke koje su pratile prosvjed, prvi skup žena u nekoliko mjeseci, rekao je AFP-ov dopisnik s mjesta događaja.

Nakon što su prošle godine preuzeli vlast u zemlji, talibani su stanovnicima obećali blažu verziju strogih islamističkih zakona koji su obilježili njihovu prvu vladavinu od 1996. do 2001. godine.

No vrlo su brzo nametnuli brojna ograničenja, posebno kada su žene u pitanju, želeći provesti svoju strogu viziju islama. 

Deseci tisuća djevojaka ne smiju više pohađati srednje škole, a ženama je zabranjen i rad u državnim službama. Među ostalim, talibani su im zabranili da putuju same na duga putovanja. Javne vrtove i parkove u glavnome gradu mogu posjećivati isključivo u danima kada ondje nema muškaraca.

U svibnju je vrhovni vođa zemlje i šef talibana, Hibatullah Akhundzada, donio odredbu da se žene u javnosti moraju u potpunosti pokriti, čak i po licu - najbolje burkom. 

Ujedinjeni narodi i skupine za ljudska prava opetovano su kritizirali talibansku vladu zbog nametanja ograničenja ženama.

Ovakva politika ukazuje na "obrazac apsolutne rodne segregacije, a cilj joj je učiniti žene potpuno nevidljivima u društvu", rekao je novinarima za vrijeme posjeta u svibnju Richard Bennett, posebni izvjestitelj UN-a za ljudska prava u Afganistanu.

Neke su se Afganistanke u početku pokušale manjim prosvjedima oduprijeti talibanima, no oni su vrlo brzo priveli organizatorice skupova, a kasnije su negirali da su uhićene.

Sve je ponovno kao nekad: Afganistanke prosvjedovale za prava i slobode, talibanski borci ih pretukli i rastjerali

Talibanski borci u subotu su pretukli nekoliko prosvjednica kundacima te su pritom pucali u zrak, nastojeći nasilno rastjerali malobrojne okupljene u glavnome afganistanskom gradu, samo nekoliko dana uoči prve godišnjice povratka ekstremnih islamista na vlast.

Otkako su preuzeli vlast u zemlji 15. kolovoza prošle godine, talibani su ukinuli brojna prava za koja su se izborile afganistanske žene za vrijeme dvadesetogodišnje američke vojne intervencije u Afganistanu.

Četrdesetak žena je, izvikujući "kruh, rad i sloboda", marširalo ispred zgrade ministarstva obrazovanja u Kabulu, no ubrzo su ih talibani rastjerali pucajući iz oružja u zrak, izvijestio je dopisnik AFP-a.

Neke prosvjednice, koje su se pokušale skloniti u najbliže trgovine talibanski su borci progonili i tukli...
