Dvojica iskusnih stručnjaka i dobrih poznavatelja morskih dubina iznijela su crne slutnje vezano za sudbinu podmornice Titan koja je nestala prilikom ekspedicije do olupine Titanica.

Iskusni ronilac Michael Harris​ koji se spuštao u dubine oceana kako bi vidio olupinu potonulog Titanica strahuje da je podmornica koja je nestala u nedjelju možda implodirala tisuće metara ispod vode, prenosi Daily Mail.

Poručio je za Fox News da ne gaji optimizam da će putnici biti spašeni te vjeruje kako američka obalna straža tu ne može ništa učiniti.

- Najgori scenarij je da se nešto dogodilo s trupom i bojimo se da je implodirao na dubini od oko 3200 metara, rekao je.

Na tim dubinama težina vode vrši je ogroman pritisak na nestalu podmornicu - oko 12.000 kilograma na svakih 2,5 kvadratna centimetara njezina trupa, prenosi Jutarnji list.

Još jedan istraživač morskih dubina, dr. David Gallo, rekao je da je zajednica znala da će se ovo dogoditi u nekom trenutku, ali je dodao da se ništa nije poduzelo po tom pitanju.

Za Sky News je rekao da su istraživači ‘zapanjeni‘ nestankom Titana.

- Očekivali smo da će se to dogoditi u nekom trenutku, znali smo, ali ne baš u ovom trenutku. Prokleto smo dobro znali da hoće i znali smo za sve probleme podmornice, primjerice što bi se dogodilo ako bi zaglavila kod olupine. Ako se potroši baterija, a ništa se nije poduzelo po tom pitanju, nije bilo plana, poručio je.

- Na neki način nije bilo iznenađenje, ali to se doista dogodilo. Svi smo zaprepašteni, izjavio je dr. Gallo za Sky News.

Podsjetimo, petero ljudi bilo je u podmornici koja je nestala na putu do olupine Titanica, a zraka ima za još otprilike 40 sati, rekla je američka obalna straža.

U podmornici tvrtke OceanGate Expeditions su u trenutku nestanka bili britanski milijarder Hamish Harding, poduzetnik Shahzada Dawood, koji djeluje u Velikoj Britaniji, njegov sin Suleman, francuski istraživač i stručnjak za Titanic Paul-Henry Nargeolet te Stockton Ruch, šef i osnivač OceanGate Expeditionsa.

Bilo je to treće ovogodišnje putovanje OceanGatea prema olupini Titanica, koji je udario santu leda i potonuo 1912. godine. Procjenjuje se da su u to vrijeme na brodu bila 2.224 putnika i članova posade, od kojih je više od 1.500 poginulo.

Pojavile su se i podaci o ranije iznesenim sumnjama vezano za sigurnost podmornice Titan.

Bivši zaposlenik OceanGatea, koja je vlasnik nestale podmornice i vodi turističke ekspedicije do olupine, izrazio je zabrinutost još 2018. godine.

Sudski dokumenti do kojih je došao časopis The New Republic pokazuju da je zaposlenik David Lochridge bio zabrinut zbog ‘potencijalne opasnosti za putnike Titana jer je podmornica dosegnula ekstremne dubine‘, prenosi Jutarnji list.

Lochridge je u to vrijeme bio OceanGateov direktor za pomorske operacije, odgovoran za sigurnost cijele posade i klijenata. U dokumentima se navodi da je nepravedno otpušten nakon što je podnio pritužbe na sigurnost u vezi s podmornicom i dodaje da je OceanGate ‘raskinuo radni odnos s Lochridgea u nastojanju da ga ušutka i izbjegne rješavanje pitanja sigurnosti i kontrole kvalitete‘.

U dokumentima se navodi da je Lochridge ‘identificirao brojne probleme koji su predstavljali ozbiljne sigurnosne propuste i ponudio korektivne mjere i preporuke za svaki problem‘.

Bio je posebno zabrinut zbog ‘ispitivanja bez razaranja‘ izvedenog na trupu Titana.

U dokumentima se također navodi da putnici koji plaćaju ekspediciju neće biti svjesni i neće biti informirani o eksperimentalnom dizajnu, nedostatku provjere sigurnosti ili o tome da su u podmornici korišteni opasni zapaljivi materijali. Lochridge i OceanGate su se nagodili izvan suda.

Spasilačke ekipe u međuvremenu vode utrku s vremenom kako bi locirale plovilo dužine 6,7 metara kojemu je ostalo manje od 40 sati kisika. Kontakt je izgubljen u nedjelju sat i 45 minuta nakon spuštanja na lokaciju olupine 3800 metara ispod površine oceana, prenosi Jutarnji list.

Dvojica iskusnih stručnjaka i dobrih poznavatelja morskih dubina iznijela su crne slutnje vezano za sudbinu podmornice Titan koja je nestala prilikom ekspedicije do olupine Titanica.

Iskusni ronilac Michael Harris​ koji se spuštao u dubine oceana kako bi vidio olupinu potonulog Titanica strahuje da je podmornica koja je nestala u nedjelju možda implodirala tisuće metara ispod vode, prenosi Daily Mail.

Poručio je za Fox News da ne gaji optimizam da će putnici biti spašeni te vjeruje kako američka obalna straža tu ne može ništa učiniti.

- Najgori scenarij je da se nešto dogodilo s trupom i bojimo se da je implodirao na dubini od oko 3200 metara, rekao je.

Na tim dubinama težina vode vrši je ogroman pritisak na nestalu podmornicu - oko 12.000 kilograma na svakih 2,5 kvadratna centimetara njezina trupa, prenosi Jutarnji list.

Još jedan istraživač morskih dubina, dr. David Gallo, rekao je da je zajednica znala da će se ovo dogoditi u nekom trenutku, ali je dodao da se ništa nije poduzelo po tom pitanju.

Za Sky News je rekao da su istraživači ‘zapanjeni‘ nestankom Titana.

Bivši zaposlenik OceanGatea, koja je vlasnik nestale podmornice i vodi turističke ekspedicije do olupine, izrazio je zabrinutost još 2018. godine.

Sudski dokumenti do kojih je došao časopis The New Republic pokazuju da je zaposlenik David Lochridge bio zabrinut zbog ‘potencijalne opasnosti za putnike Titana jer je podmornica dosegnula ekstremne dubine‘, prenosi Jutarnji list.

Lochridge je u to vrijeme bio OceanGateov direktor za pomorske operacije, odgovoran za sigurnost cijele posade i klijenata. U dokumentima se navodi da je nepravedno otpušten nakon što je podnio pritužbe na sigurnost u vezi s podmornicom i dodaje da je OceanGate ‘raskinuo radni odnos s Lochridgea u nastojanju da ga ušutka i izbjegne rješavanje pitanja sigurnosti i kontrole kvalitete‘.

U dokumentima se navodi da je Lochridge ‘identificirao brojne probleme koji su predstavljali ozbiljne sigurnosne propuste i ponudio korektivne mjere i preporuke za svaki problem‘.

Bio je posebno zabrinut zbog ‘ispitivanja bez razaranja‘ izvedenog na trupu Titana.

Dvojica iskusnih stručnjaka i dobrih poznavatelja morskih dubina iznijela su crne slutnje vezano za sudbinu podmornice Titan koja je nestala prilikom ekspedicije do olupine Titanica.

Iskusni ronilac Michael Harris​ koji se spuštao u dubine oceana kako bi vidio olupinu potonulog Titanica strahuje da je podmornica koja je nestala u nedjelju možda implodirala tisuće metara ispod vode, prenosi Daily Mail.

Poručio je za Fox News da ne gaji optimizam da će putnici biti spašeni te vjeruje kako američka obalna straža tu ne može ništa učiniti.

- Najgori scenarij je da se nešto dogodilo s trupom i bojimo se da je implodirao na dubini od oko 3200 metara, rekao je.

Na tim dubinama težina vode vrši je ogroman pritisak na nestalu podmornicu - oko 12.000 kilograma na svakih 2,5 kvadratna centimetara njezina trupa, prenosi Jutarnji list.

Još jedan istraživač morskih dubina, dr. David Gallo, rekao je da je zajednica znala da će se ovo dogoditi u nekom trenutku, ali je dodao da se ništa nije poduzelo po tom pitanju.
