Dolazak Adolfa Hitlera na vlast ušao je u povijest kao "dan prevrata". Ali, njegovo je imenovanje, što je šala povijesti, bilo u skladu s ustavom.

Sumorne scene odigrale su se 30. siječnja 1933. ispred Brandenburških vrata u Berlinu. Član nacionalsocijalista zadužen za propagandu po imenu Goebbels na tom je mjestu okupio stranačke “jurišnike” – nacističke batinaše, piše Natioal Geographic.

Oko 19 sati preko 20.000 pripadnika takozvanog "jurišnog odreda" (Sturmabteilung), noseći baklje, prodefiliralo je kroz Brandenburška vrata. Nekoliko sati prije toga Adolf Hitler postigao je svoj veliki cilj: imenovan je kancelarom. Novopečeni kancelar Reicha odobravao je proslave svojih pristaša. 

Joseph Goebbels je planirao grandioznu predstavu, želio je dramatično uprizoriti "buđenje Njemačke": ta je noć trebala ostati zapamćena kao "Noć velikih čuda", dok je gradom prolazila procesija s bakljama. Goebbels je želio stvoriti monumentalne slike koje će ostaviti i dojam na gledatelje u kinu, gdje su se prije filma prikazivale vijesti. No, prolaznici su bez puno ceremonije prošli kroz "jurišnu" formaciju i tako pokvarili željeni učinak. Goebbels je bio razočaran i kasnije je revidirao scenarij.

Dok je povorka "jurišnika" prolazila ispred njegove kuće, reagirao je slavni njemačko-židovski slikar Max Liebermann rekavši: "Ne mogu jesti koliko mi se povraća".

Kako je Hitler postao stvarnost

Priča o Hitlerovom usponu na vlast ne može se odvojiti od priče o padu Weimarske Republike. Otkako je Republika uspostavljena 1918. godine, patila je od urođene mane. Bila je to demokracija bez demokrata. Velik dio stanovništva nije prihvatio novu državu, a ponajmanje veliki gospodarstvenici, dužnosnici pa i političari.

Zemlju su potresli pokušaji puča i s lijeva i zdesna. U prvih pet godina bilo je spektakularnih ubojstava. Živote su, između ostalih, izgubili komunisti Rosa Luxemburg i Karl Liebnecht, kao i ministar vanjskih poslova židovskog podrijetla Walter Rathenau. Ubojice su bili desničarski ekstremisti.

Weimarska Republika bila je izrazito nestabilna. Tijekom 14 godina njezina postojanja na vlasti se promijenila 21 vlada. Neke od 17 parlamentarnih stranaka otvoreno su se protivile ustavu. Nakon svake političke i ekonomske krize birači su sve više gubili povjerenje u demokratske stranke. To su iskoristili ekstremisti – nacionalsocijalisti na desnici i komunisti na ljevici dobivali su sve više pristaša.

Oko 1930. Njemačka je bila na rubu građanskog rata. Nacisti i komunisti su se tukli na ulicama. Svjetska gospodarska kriza 1929. dodatno je pogoršala situaciju. U lipnju 1932. godine, prema službenoj statistici, u Njemačkoj je bilo nezaposleno 5,6 milijuna ljudi.

Potraga za vođom

Mnogi Nijemci su u takvoj situaciji čeznuli za vođom čvrste ruke, koji bi zemlju mogao izvesti iz krize. Takav čovjek bio je predsjednik Paul von Hindenburg. Mnogi su ga smatrali zamjenom za cara. Doista, prema Weimarskom ustavu, predsjednik Reicha bio je središnja figura vlade. Predsjednik bi mogao raspustiti parlament i sam donositi zakone po hitnom postupku.

Sam Hindenburg često je koristio mogućnost nadglasavanja zakonodavaca. Ali nije mogao igrati ulogu spasitelja Njemačke, jer je početkom 1933. već imao 85 godina. Nakon brojnih promjena vlasti, Hindenburg je želio stabilnu vladu s elementima desnog nacionalizma. U početku je bio prilično skeptičan prema Adolfu Hitleru. Dugo ga je posprdno nazivao "kaplarom" (aluzija na to da je Hitler u Prvom svjetskom ratu bio običan vojnik, a Hindenburg proslavljeni feldmaršal).

Ali, Hindenburg se predomislio. Njegovi najbliži suradnici uvjeravali su ga da će Hitlera držati pod kontrolom. Alfred Hugenberg, čelnik Njemačke nacionalne narodne stranke, izjavio je: "Smjestit ćemo Hitleru." Osim toga, Nacionalsocijalistička stranka imala je samo dva ministra u novom kabinetu.

Hitler i njegovi bliski suradnici u mladosti su se predstavljali umjerenijima i izbjegavali su privlačiti previše pozornosti.

‘Kao u bajci!‘

Ali, 30. siječnja Hitler i njegovi suradnici ostvarili su svoj san. Goebbels je svoju radost opisao ovako: "Hitler je kancelar – kao u bajci!" Na čelo je došao čovjek koji će pokopati Weimarsku Republiku.

Svoje planove iznio je u knjizi "Moja borba" (Mein Kampf). U njemu je napisao da će Židovi biti "poraženi" i da će Nijemci novi "životni prostor" osvojiti "mačem".

Hitlerov dolazak na vlast ušao je u povijest kao "dan prevrata", no njegovo imenovanje, što je gorka šala povijesti, bilo je u skladu s ustavom.

Hindenburg je nakon prisege rekao: "A sada, moja gospodo, s Bogom naprijed!" On sam nije mogao vidjeti kako će Hitler Drugi odvesti zemlju u holokaust i svjetski rat. Umro je sljedeće, 1934. godine.

Hitler je vrlo brzo pokazao koliko je naivno vjerovati da će mu netko “smjestiti” i neutralizirati ga. Vrlo brzo nakon njegove prisege počeo je teror batinaša diljem zemlje. Komunisti, socijaldemokrati i sindikalci primali su prijetnje i bili praćeni.

Ubrzo su osnovani prvi koncentracijski logori u kojima su "jurišni odredi" ušutkavali svoje žrtve. Onda su došli na red Židovi i ostali "nepodobni". Samo nekoliko mjeseci bilo je dovoljno Hitleru da okrene weimarsku demokraciju naglavačke i uspostavi svoju diktaturu.

Dolazak Adolfa Hitlera na vlast ušao je u povijest kao "dan prevrata". Ali, njegovo je imenovanje, što je šala povijesti, bilo u skladu s ustavom.

Sumorne scene odigrale su se 30. siječnja 1933. ispred Brandenburških vrata u Berlinu. Član nacionalsocijalista zadužen za propagandu po imenu Goebbels na tom je mjestu okupio stranačke “jurišnike” – nacističke batinaše, piše Natioal Geographic.

Oko 19 sati preko 20.000 pripadnika takozvanog "jurišnog odreda" (Sturmabteilung), noseći baklje, prodefiliralo je kroz Brandenburška vrata. Nekoliko sati prije toga Adolf Hitler postigao je svoj veliki cilj: imenovan je kancelarom. Novopečeni kancelar Reicha odobravao je proslave svojih pristaša. 

Joseph Goebbels je planirao grandioznu predstavu, želio je dramatično uprizoriti "buđenje Njemačke": ta je noć trebala ostati zapamćena kao "Noć velikih čuda", dok je gradom prolazila procesija s bakljama. Goebbels je želio stvoriti monumentalne slike koje će ostaviti i dojam na gledatelje u kinu, gdje su se prije filma prikazivale vijesti. No, prolaznici su bez puno ceremonije prošli kroz "jurišnu" formaciju i tako pokvarili željeni učinak. Goebbels je bio razočaran i kasnije je revidirao scenarij.

Dok je povorka "jurišnika" prolazila ispred njegove kuće, reagirao je slavni njemačko-židovski slikar Max Liebermann rekavši: "Ne mogu jesti koliko mi se povraća".

Kako je Hitler postao stvarnost

Priča o Hitlerovom usponu na vlast ne može se odvojiti od priče o padu Weimarske Republike. Otkako je Republika uspostavljena 1918. godine, patila je od urođene mane. Bila je to demokracija bez demokrata. Velik dio stanovništva nije prihvatio novu državu, a ponajmanje veliki gospodarstvenici, dužnosnici pa i političari.

Zemlju su potresli pokušaji puča i s lijeva i zdesna. U prvih pet godina bilo je spektakularnih ubojstava. Živote su, između ostalih, izgubili komunisti Rosa Luxemburg i Karl Liebnecht, kao i ministar vanjskih poslova židovskog podrijetla Walter Rathenau. Ubojice su bili desničarski ekstremisti.

Weimarska Republika bila je izrazito nestabilna. Tijekom 14 godina njezina postojanja na vlasti se promijenila 21 vlada. Neke od 17 parlamentarnih stranaka otvoreno su se protivile ustavu. Nakon svake političke i ekonomske krize birači su sve više gubili povjerenje u demokratske stranke. To su iskoristili ekstremisti – nacionalsocijalisti na desnici i komunisti na ljevici dobivali su sve više pristaša.

Oko 1930. Njemačka je bila na rubu građanskog rata. Nacisti i komunisti su se tukli na ulicama. Svjetska gospodarska kriza 1929. dodatno je pogoršala situaciju. U lipnju 1932. godine, prema službenoj statistici, u Njemačkoj je bilo nezaposleno 5,6 milijuna ljudi.

Potraga za vođom

Mnogi Nijemci su u takvoj situaciji čeznuli za vođom čvrste ruke, koji bi zemlju mogao izvesti iz krize. Takav čovjek bio je predsjednik Paul von Hindenburg. Mnogi su ga smatrali zamjenom za cara. Doista, prema Weimarskom ustavu, predsjednik Reicha bio je središnja figura vlade. Predsjednik bi mogao raspustiti parlament i sam donositi zakone po hitnom postupku.

Sam Hindenburg često je koristio mogućnost nadglasavanja zakonodavaca. Ali nije mogao igrati ulogu spasitelja Njemačke, jer je početkom 1933. već imao 85 godina. Nakon brojnih promjena vlasti, Hindenburg je želio stabilnu vladu s elementima desnog nacionalizma. U početku je bio prilično skeptičan prema Adolfu Hitleru. Dugo ga je posprdno nazivao "kaplarom" (aluzija na to da je Hitler u Prvom svjetskom ratu bio običan vojnik, a Hindenburg proslavljeni feldmaršal).

Ali, Hindenburg se predomislio. Njegovi najbliži suradnici uvjeravali su ga da će Hitlera držati pod kontrolom. Alfred Hugenberg, čelnik Njemačke nacionalne narodne stranke, izjavio je: "Smjestit ćemo Hitleru." Osim toga, Nacionalsocijalistička stranka imala je samo dva ministra u novom kabinetu.

Hitler i njegovi bliski suradnici u mladosti su se predstavljali umjerenijima i izbjegavali su privlačiti previše pozornosti.

‘Kao u bajci!‘

Ali, 30. siječnja Hitler i njegovi suradnici ostvarili su svoj san. Goebbels je svoju radost opisao ovako: "Hitler je kancelar – kao u bajci!" Na čelo je došao čovjek koji će pokopati Weimarsku Republiku.

Svoje planove iznio je u knjizi "Moja borba" (Mein Kampf). U njemu je napisao da će Židovi biti "poraženi" i da će Nijemci novi "životni prostor" osvojiti "mačem".

Hitlerov dolazak na vlast ušao je u povijest kao "dan prevrata", no njegovo imenovanje, što je gorka šala povijesti, bilo je u skladu s ustavom.

Hindenburg je nakon prisege rekao: "A sada, moja gospodo, s Bogom naprijed!" On sam nije mogao vidjeti kako će Hitler Drugi odvesti zemlju u holokaust i svjetski rat. Umro je sljedeće, 1934. godine.

Hitler je vrlo brzo pokazao koliko je naivno vjerovati da će mu netko “smjestiti” i neutralizirati ga. Vrlo brzo nakon njegove prisege počeo je teror batinaša diljem zemlje. Komunisti, socijaldemokrati i sindikalci primali su prijetnje i bili praćeni.

Ubrzo su osnovani prvi koncentracijski logori u kojima su "jurišni odredi" ušutkavali svoje žrtve. Onda su došli na red Židovi i ostali "nepodobni". Samo nekoliko mjeseci bilo je dovoljno Hitleru da okrene weimarsku demokraciju naglavačke i uspostavi svoju diktaturu.
