Češka vlada brani postupanje tamošnjeg policajca koji je snimljen kako koljenima pritišće ramena i vrat romskog mladića, koji je nakon toga preminuo u bolnici. - Ovaj slučaj ne može se usporediti sa smrću Georgea Floyda , poručila je policija, odbacujući kritike iznesene na društvenim mrežama i u medijima.
Češka policija objasnila je da je morala koristiti silu jer je muškarac postao agresivan nakon predoziranja drogom.
Policija je objavila video snimljen neposredno prije njihova dolaska. Prikazuje muškarca golog do pojasa kako leži na pločniku i viče. Potom se digne na noge i nasrne na drugog muškarca a zatim krene lupati po obližnjem automobilu.
Ističu da je preminuo u kolima Hitne pomoći, a da je neslužbeni uzrok smrti predoziranje. Policija naglašava da se ovaj slučaj ne može usporediti s američkim slučajem.
Ministar unutarnjih poslova Jan Hamaček izjavio je da policija ima njegovu punu podršku te da imaju pravo odgovarati na napad svake osobe pod utjecajem droge.

Organizacije za zaštitu prava romske zajednice ističu da je ovo vrhunac brutalnosti čeških vlasti prema Romima.
- Ako ste ga uhitili i vezali lisicama iza leđa, zašto su onda policajci klečali iznad njega iduće tri minute? To ne razumijem, rekao je Michal Miko iz Romanoneta.
Neki su odmah uputili kritiku novinarima jer su povukli paralelu sa slučajem Georgea Floyda, koji je preminuo tijekom policijske akcije 25. svibnja prošle godine u Minneapolisu. Policajac Derek Chauvin pritiskao je koljenom vrat Georgea Floyda gotovo devet i pol minuta. Floyd se onesvijestio i preminuo nešto kasnije.
Istraživački novinar Hlidaci Pes analizirao je video snimku i zaključio da su policajci podignuli koljeno nekoliko puta te ustvrdio da policajac veći dio snimke koljeno drži na leđima i lopaticama, što je dio uobičajenog policijskog postupanja u takvim situacijama.

Michal Miko sa skepsom promatra preliminarne rezultate obdukcije. Smatra da je policija morala objaviti video kako unose tijelo muškarca u ambulantna kola.
Podsjetio je na slučaj iz 2016. kada je u Zatecu umro mladi korisnik droga kojega je također svladala policija.
- Tužni smo što se ovo događa u demokratskoj državi. Radi se o pravdi i sustavnom rasizmu koji prikazuje kako je biti Rom u Češkoj Republici.

Češka vlada brani postupanje tamošnjeg policajca koji je snimljen kako koljenima pritišće ramena i vrat romskog mladića, koji je nakon toga preminuo u bolnici. Video prikazuje tri policajca kako svladavaju Roma, a nekoliko minuta kasnije on je bespomično ležao na cesti, prenosi Jutarnji
- Ovaj slučaj ne može se usporediti sa smrću Georgea Floyda , poručila je policija, odbacujući kritike iznesene na društvenim mrežama i u medijima.
Češka policija objasnila je da je morala koristiti silu jer je muškarac postao agresivan nakon predoziranja drogom.
Policija je objavila video snimljen neposredno prije njihova dolaska. Prikazuje muškarca golog do pojasa kako leži na pločniku i viče. Potom se digne na noge i nasrne na drugog muškarca a zatim krene lupati po obližnjem automobilu.
Ističu da je preminuo u kolima Hitne pomoći, a da je neslužbeni uzrok smrti predoziranje. Policija naglašava da se ovaj slučaj ne može usporediti s američkim slučajem.

Organizacije za zaštitu prava romske zajednice ističu da je ovo vrhunac brutalnosti čeških vlasti prema Romima.
- Ako ste ga uhitili i vezali lisicama iza leđa, zašto su onda policajci klečali iznad njega iduće tri minute? To ne razumijem, rekao je Michal Miko iz Romanoneta.
Neki su odmah uputili kritiku novinarima jer su povukli paralelu sa slučajem Georgea Floyda, koji je preminuo tijekom policijske akcije 25. svibnja prošle godine u Minneapolisu. Policajac Derek Chauvin pritiskao je koljenom vrat Georgea Floyda gotovo devet i pol minuta. Floyd se onesvijestio i preminuo nešto kasnije.
Istraživački novinar Hlidaci Pes analizirao je video snimku i zaključio da su policajci podignuli koljeno nekoliko puta te ustvrdio da policajac veći dio snimke koljeno drži na leđima i lopaticama, što je dio uobičajenog policijskog postupanja u takvim situacijama.

Nedvojbena je činjenica da postoji određena razina nepovjerenja i neprijateljstva između romske zajednice i velikog dijela češkog društva, osobito u siromašnijim područjima poput Teplica, piše BBC
Michal Miko sa skepsom promatra preliminarne rezultate obdukcije. Smatra da je policija morala objaviti video kako unose tijelo muškarca u ambulantna kola.
Podsjetio je na slučaj iz 2016. kada je u Zatecu umro mladi korisnik droga kojega je također svladala policija.
- Tužni smo što se ovo događa u demokratskoj državi. Radi se o pravdi i sustavnom rasizmu koji prikazuje kako je biti Rom u Češkoj Republici.
U Češkoj živi velika zajednica Roma koja broji 300.000 osoba.
