Snažan potres magnitude 7,3 pogodio je u utorak zapad indonezijskog otoka Sumatre, priopćila je indonezijska geofizička agencija (BMKG), zbog čega je izdano upozorenje na cunami.

Ranije je Europski mediteranski seizmološki zavod (EMSC) objavio da je potres bio magnitude 6,9. 

Nakon potresa, kojega je epicentar bio na dubini od 84 km, izdano je upozorenje na cunami, dodala je indonezijska meteorološka služba. 

Agencija je zatražila od tamošnje vlasti da odmah pozove stanovnike da se udalje od obale. 

Nakon glavnog, uslijedio je niz manjih potresa od kojih su neki bili magnitude oko 4, pokazuju podatci BMKG-a.

Potres se snažno osjetio u Padangu, upravnom središtu pokrajine Zapadne Sumatre, gdje su se mnogi stanovnici udaljili od obale, rekao je Abdul, stanovnik Padanga, dodajući da zasad ne vidi veću materijalnu štetu.

Na snimkama mjesnih glasila vide se stanovnici Padanga koji pješice i motociklima idu prema uzvisinama. Neki su nosili naprtnjače dok su se drugi šćućurili ispod kišobrana štiteći se od kiše.

"Na otoku Siberutu ljudi su se već evakuirali. Rečeno im je da ostanu u skloništima dok se ne ukine upozorenje na cunami", rekao je za TvOne lokalni čelnik Noviandri.

Potresi su česti u Indoneziji koja je smještena na takozvanom Pacifičkom vatrenom prstenu, seizmički aktivnom području gdje se sastaju ploče Zemljine kore.

Snažan potres magnitude 7,3 pogodio je u utorak zapad indonezijskog otoka Sumatre, priopćila je indonezijska geofizička agencija (BMKG), zbog čega je izdano upozorenje na cunami.

Ranije je Europski mediteranski seizmološki zavod (EMSC) objavio da je potres bio magnitude 6,9. 

Nakon potresa, kojega je epicentar bio na dubini od 84 km, izdano je upozorenje na cunami, dodala je indonezijska meteorološka služba. 

Agencija je zatražila od tamošnje vlasti da odmah pozove stanovnike da se udalje od obale. 

Nakon glavnog, uslijedio je niz manjih potresa od kojih su neki bili magnitude oko 4, pokazuju podatci BMKG-a.

Potres se snažno osjetio u Padangu, upravnom središtu pokrajine Zapadne Sumatre, gdje su se mnogi stanovnici udaljili od obale, rekao je Abdul, stanovnik Padanga, dodajući da zasad ne vidi veću materijalnu štetu.

Na snimkama mjesnih glasila vide se stanovnici Padanga koji pješice i motociklima idu prema uzvisinama. Neki su nosili naprtnjače dok su se drugi šćućurili ispod kišobrana štiteći se od kiše.

"Na otoku Siberutu ljudi su se već evakuirali. Rečeno im je da ostanu u skloništima dok se ne ukine upozorenje na cunami", rekao je za TvOne lokalni čelnik Noviandri.

Potresi su česti u Indoneziji koja je smještena na takozvanom Pacifičkom vatrenom prstenu, seizmički aktivnom području gdje se sastaju ploče Zemljine kore.

Snažan potres pogodio Indoneziju, izdano upozorenje na cunami, brojni stanovnici evakuirani

Snažan potres magnitude 7,3 pogodio je u utorak zapad indonezijskog otoka Sumatre, priopćila je indonezijska geofizička agencija (BMKG), zbog čega je izdano upozorenje na cunami.

Ranije je Europski mediteranski seizmološki zavod (EMSC) objavio da je potres bio magnitude 6,9. 

Nakon potresa, kojega je epicentar bio na dubini od 84 km, izdano je upozorenje na cunami, dodala je indonezijska meteorološka služba. 

Agencija je zatražila od tamošnje vlasti da odmah pozove stanovnike da se udalje od obale. 

Nakon glavnog, uslijedio je niz manjih potresa od kojih su neki bili magnitude oko 4, pokazuju podatci BMKG-a.

Potres se snažno osjetio u Padangu, upravnom središtu pokrajine Zapadne Sumatre, gdje su se mnogi stanovnici udaljili od obale, rekao je Abdul, stanovnik Padanga, dodajući ...
