Američka vojska izradila je alat koji će joj pomoći predvidjeti koje će akcije uznemiriti Kinu i izazvati 'strateška trenja' na Pacifiku, kao što su manevri ratnih brodova, prodaja oružja i misije na Tajvanu Prema Reutersu, alat se bavi prethodnim radnjama koje su utjecale na odnose između dviju zemalja i koristi te podatke za izračunavanje 'strateških trenja' i predviđanje koje bi radnje u bliskoj budućnosti također mogle dovesti do negativnog odgovora.

Zamjenica ministra obrane Bidenove administracije, Kathleen Hicks, navodno je u utorak na Havajima upoznata s novim alatom. U intervjuu, Hicks je rekla da SAD treba 'gledati daleko širi skup pokazatelja, spojiti ih zajedno i onda razumjeti interakciju prijetnji' s Kinom.

Neimenovani američki dužnosnik rekao je Reutersu da je potražnja za alatom osviještena nakon što je Kina u listopadu predvidljivo osudila SAD zbog slanja ratnog broda u Tajvanski tjesnac nedaleko od kineske obale. Alat će navodno proučiti akcije SAD-a kao što su 'posjeti Kongresa Tajvanu' i 'prodaja oružja saveznicima u regiji' kako bi se predvidilo kakav će biti odgovor Kine i to četiri mjeseca unaprijed nego što se to dogodi.

Kineski korisnici društvenih mreža ismijavali su alat, tvrdeći da se 'čini prilično lako modelirati' koje će akcije naštetiti odnosima između dviju zemalja. Jedna je osoba primijetila da se ta pitanja mogu 'riješiti telefonskim pozivom'.Alat je također zbunio korisnike društvenih mreža na Zapadu. 'Hoće li im ovo pomoći da pronađu razloge za demoniziranje Kine ili ih izbjegnu? Alternativa je biti pažljiv, djelovati diplomatski i isključiti ovakve alate', rekao je jedan korisnik Twittera.

Napetosti između kontinentalne Kine i Tajvana eskalirale su tijekom posljednjih nekoliko godina, a Peking organizira velike vojne vježbe u blizini otoka. Dok kineske vlasti vide Tajvan kao neotuđivi dio svog  teritorija, otok se smatra neovisnim od 1949., kada je gubitnička strana u kineskom građanskom ratu pobjegla tamo nakon što su komunističke snage preuzele kopno. Američka vlada je također ovog mjeseca objavila da će diplomatski bojkotirati Zimske olimpijske igre 2022. u Pekingu, navodeći kao razlog zabrinutost za ljudska prava.

Američka vojska izradila je alat koji će joj pomoći predvidjeti koje će akcije uznemiriti Kinu i izazvati 'strateška trenja' na Pacifiku, kao što su manevri ratnih brodova, prodaja oružja i misije na Tajvanu Prema Reutersu, alat se bavi prethodnim radnjama koje su utjecale na odnose između dviju zemalja i koristi te podatke za izračunavanje 'strateških trenja' i predviđanje koje bi radnje u bliskoj budućnosti također mogle dovesti do negativnog odgovora.

Zamjenica ministra obrane Bidenove administracije, Kathleen Hicks, navodno je u utorak na Havajima upoznata s novim alatom. U intervjuu, Hicks je rekla da SAD treba 'gledati daleko širi skup pokazatelja, spojiti ih zajedno i onda razumjeti interakciju prijetnji' s Kinom.

Neimenovani američki dužnosnik rekao je Reutersu da je potražnja za alatom osviještena nakon što je Kina u listopadu predvidljivo osudila SAD zbog slanja ratnog broda u Tajvanski tjesnac nedaleko od kineske obale. Alat će navodno proučiti akcije SAD-a kao što su 'posjeti Kongresa Tajvanu' i 'prodaja oružja saveznicima u regiji' kako bi se predvidilo kakav će biti odgovor Kine i to četiri mjeseca unaprijed nego što se to dogodi.

Kineski korisnici društvenih mreža ismijavali su alat, tvrdeći da se 'čini prilično lako modelirati' koje će akcije naštetiti odnosima između dviju zemalja. Jedna je osoba primijetila da se ta pitanja mogu 'riješiti telefonskim pozivom'.Alat je također zbunio korisnike društvenih mreža na Zapadu. 'Hoće li im ovo pomoći da pronađu razloge za demoniziranje Kine ili ih izbjegnu? Alternativa je biti pažljiv, djelovati diplomatski i isključiti ovakve alate', rekao je jedan korisnik Twittera.

Napetosti između kontinentalne Kine i Tajvana eskalirale su tijekom posljednjih nekoliko godina, a Peking organizira velike vojne vježbe u blizini otoka. Dok kineske vlasti vide Tajvan kao neotuđivi dio svog  teritorija, otok se smatra neovisnim od 1949., kada je gubitnička strana u kineskom građanskom ratu pobjegla tamo nakon što su komunističke snage preuzele kopno. Američka vlada je također ovog mjeseca objavila da će diplomatski bojkotirati Zimske olimpijske igre 2022. u Pekingu, navodeći kao razlog zabrinutost za ljudska prava.

Američka vojska izradila je alat koji će joj pomoći predvidjeti koje će akcije uznemiriti Kinu i izazvati 'strateška trenja' na Pacifiku, kao što su manevri ratnih brodova, prodaja oružja i misije na Tajvanu Prema Reutersu, alat se bavi prethodnim radnjama koje su utjecale na odnose između dviju zemalja i koristi te podatke za izračunavanje 'strateških trenja' i predviđanje koje bi radnje u bliskoj budućnosti također mogle dovesti do negativnog odgovora.

Zamjenica ministra obrane Bidenove administracije, Kathleen Hicks, navodno je u utorak na Havajima upoznata s novim alatom. U intervjuu, Hicks je rekla da SAD treba 'gledati daleko širi skup pokazatelja, spojiti ih zajedno i onda razumjeti interakciju prijetnji' s Kinom.
