Reporterka RTL-a Leona Šiljeg već se nekoliko dana sa svojom snimateljskom ekipom nalazi u Ukrajini, a trenutno je u Kijevu, gdje su je jutros probudile sirene netom nakon što je počela ruska invazija. S Leonom smo večeras oko 20:30 stupili u kontakt.
- Vidim obitelji koje s vrećama za spavanje idu prema skloništima. Kažu da imaju informacije kako bi Kijev ove noći mogao biti napadnut i da je jedna od meta. Neki ljudi vuku i kofere.

Ono što je čudno je da je ovaj višemilijunski grad sada potpuno prazan i to vam uvlači strah u kosti. Hoteli su u mraku, nema svijetla, hotel u kojem smo mi danas bili samo se odjednom ispraznio, ostali su samo novinari iz cijelog svijeta koji sada planiraju kako napustiti Kijev i otići u Poljsku jer je najbliža. U 22 sata na snagu stupa policijski sat i traje do sedam ujutro. Vidjet ćemo što će donijeti noć i jutro, pratimo sve, na sigurnom smo, preporučeno nam je da se sklonimo na sigurno u sklonište u podzemnim garažama ili u željeznicama odnosno bilo gdje ispod zemlje. Situacija je zasad takva, kao bez panike, ali oči su širom otvorene, rekla nam je Leona.
- Jutros je prvo odjeknula eksplozija, čule su se sirene koje su nas probudile, trajale su poprilično dugo. Prvo sam pogledala kroz prozor hotelske sobe što se događa, vidjela sam neke ljude kako trče cestom... Potom smo skupili stvari i otišli iz hotela. Bilo je nemoguće dobiti bilo kakav TAXI stoga smo na teren krenuli pješice.

U tom trenutku je bilo puno automobila na cesti, pješaka nešto manje. Jedno smo vrijeme bili u hotelu Ukrajina s ostalim TV ekipama, iz minute u minutu se prati stanje... Kasnije su nas evakuirali iz hotela i proglašeno je stanje opće mobilizacije. Danas je na glavnom kijevskom trgu Majdanu bilo oko 30 oklopnih vozila, trg je sablasno prazan. Nema doslovno nikoga. Na granici s Moldavijom i Slovačkom je kaos, to su nepregledne kolone, kao i na izlazu iz grada. Svi pokušavaju napustiti Kijev, a najveći je problem što nema letova. Svi su letovi otkazani. Gužve su na bankomatima, u trgovinama, veliki šoping centar u gradu je zatvoren. Vlada panika u gradu, sablasno je prazno, ljudi bježe..., kaže Leona.

Na ulici se, kaže, mogu sresti civili koji dijele ukrajinske zastave jer tvrde da treba podići moral i zajedništvo. Dobila je i poruke s kartama bunkera i skloništa jer se Kijev pripremao na ovo duže vrijeme. Šalju se poruke da se pripreme zalihe vode i da se napune umivaonici i kade u slučaju da dođe do nestašice vode. Dijele se i karte kako izaći iz Kijeva. Svim novinarima je rečeno da skinu GPS lokatore, da se drže skupa i da budu spremni za trenutak kada će im se reći da napuste grad.

S Leonom smo večeras oko 20:30 stupili u kontakt.
- Vidim obitelji koje s vrećama za spavanje idu prema skloništima. Kažu da imaju informacije kako bi Kijev ove noći mogao biti napadnut i da je jedna od meta. Neki ljudi vuku i kofere.

Ono što je čudno je da je ovaj višemilijunski grad sada potpuno prazan i to vam uvlači strah u kosti. Hoteli su u mraku, nema svijetla, hotel u kojem smo mi danas bili samo se odjednom ispraznio, ostali su samo novinari iz cijelog svijeta koji sada planiraju kako napustiti Kijev i otići u Poljsku jer je najbliža. U 22 sata na snagu stupa policijski sat i traje do sedam ujutro. Vidjet ćemo što će donijeti noć i jutro, pratimo sve, na sigurnom smo, preporučeno nam je da se sklonimo na sigurno u sklonište u podzemnim garažama ili u željeznicama odnosno bilo gdje ispod zemlje. Situacija je zasad takva, kao bez panike, ali oči su širom otvorene, rekla nam je Leona.
- Jutros je prvo odjeknula eksplozija, čule su se sirene koje su nas probudile, trajale su poprilično dugo. Prvo sam pogledala kroz prozor hotelske sobe što se događa, vidjela sam neke ljude kako trče cestom... Potom smo skupili stvari i otišli iz hotela. Bilo je nemoguće dobiti bilo kakav TAXI stoga smo na teren krenuli pješice.

U tom trenutku je bilo puno automobila na cesti, pješaka nešto manje. Jedno smo vrijeme bili u hotelu Ukrajina s ostalim TV ekipama, iz minute u minutu se prati stanje... Kasnije su nas evakuirali iz hotela i proglašeno je stanje opće mobilizacije. Danas je na glavnom kijevskom trgu Majdanu bilo oko 30 oklopnih vozila, trg je sablasno prazan. Nema doslovno nikoga. Na granici s Moldavijom i Slovačkom je kaos, to su nepregledne kolone, kao i na izlazu iz grada. Svi pokušavaju napustiti Kijev, a najveći je problem što nema letova. Svi su letovi otkazani. Gužve su na bankomatima, u trgovinama, veliki šoping centar u gradu je zatvoren. Vlada panika u gradu, sablasno je prazno, ljudi bježe..., kaže Leona.

Na ulici se, kaže, mogu sresti civili koji dijele ukrajinske zastave jer tvrde da treba podići moral i zajedništvo. Dobila je i poruke s kartama bunkera i skloništa jer se Kijev pripremao na ovo duže vrijeme. Šalju se poruke da se pripreme zalihe vode i da se napune umivaonici i kade u slučaju da dođe do nestašice vode. Dijele se i karte kako izaći iz Kijeva. Svim novinarima je rečeno da skinu GPS lokatore, da se drže skupa i da budu spremni za trenutak kada će im se reći da napuste grad.
