Britanska policija rekla je u ponedjeljak da je uhitila muškarca osumnjičenog za ubojstvo nakon niza napada nožem u Birgminghamu, počinjenih u nedjelju u ranim jutarnjim satima u kojima je jedna osoba smrtno stradala, a sedam je ranjeno.

Osumnjičeni 27-godišnji muškarac uhićen je u četvrti Selly Oak u 4 sata ujutro, rekla je policija West Midlandsa. Detektivi su rekli da su napadi nožem počinjeni na četirima lokacijama povezani, ali se čini da nisu povezani s bandama niti s terorizmom.

"Policija je jučer i danas pokušavala pronaći čovjeka kojega smatramo odgovornim za ova užasna zlodjela", rekao je policijski zapovjednik Steve Graham.

"Očito je ovo presudni razvoj događaja, ali naša se istraga nastavlja. Još uvijek moramo razgovarati sa svakim svjedokom koji je vidio što se dogodilo a još s nama nije razgovarao, ili sa svakim tko ima videosnimke ili fotografije napada", rekao je.

Dvadesetrogodišnji mladić umro je nakon što je izboden, a mladić i žena u dobi 19 i 32 godine u kritičnom su stanju nakon napada.  

Petero ostalih nisu tako teško ozlijeđeni.

Policija je pozvala građane da ostanu mirni, ali budni.

Britanska policija rekla je u ponedjeljak da je uhitila muškarca osumnjičenog za ubojstvo nakon niza napada nožem u Birgminghamu, počinjenih u nedjelju u ranim jutarnjim satima u kojima je jedna osoba smrtno stradala, a sedam je ranjeno.

Osumnjičeni 27-godišnji muškarac uhićen je u četvrti Selly Oak u 4 sata ujutro, rekla je policija West Midlandsa. Detektivi su rekli da su napadi nožem počinjeni na četirima lokacijama povezani, ali se čini da nisu povezani s bandama niti s terorizmom.

"Policija je jučer i danas pokušavala pronaći čovjeka kojega smatramo odgovornim za ova užasna zlodjela", rekao je policijski zapovjednik Steve Graham.

"Očito je ovo presudni razvoj događaja, ali naša se istraga nastavlja. Još uvijek moramo razgovarati sa svakim svjedokom koji je vidio što se dogodilo a još s nama nije razgovarao, ili sa svakim tko ima videosnimke ili fotografije napada", rekao je.

Dvadesetrogodišnji mladić umro je nakon što je izboden, a mladić i žena u dobi 19 i 32 godine u kritičnom su stanju nakon napada.  

Petero ostalih nisu tako teško ozlijeđeni.

Policija je pozvala građane da ostanu mirni, ali budni.

Jedna osoba smrtno stradala, sedam ranjenih: policija uhitila muškarca zbog napada nožem u Birminghamu

Britanska policija rekla je u ponedjeljak da je uhitila muškarca osumnjičenog za ubojstvo nakon niza napada nožem u Birgminghamu, počinjenih u nedjelju u ranim jutarnjim satima u kojima je jedna osoba smrtno stradala, a sedam je ranjeno.

Osumnjičeni 27-godišnji muškarac uhićen je u četvrti Selly Oak u 4 sata ujutro, rekla je policija West Midlandsa. Detektivi su rekli da su napadi nožem počinjeni na četirima lokacijama povezani, ali se čini da nisu povezani s bandama niti s terorizmom.

"Policija je jučer i danas pokušavala pronaći čovjeka kojega smatramo odgovornim za ova užasna zlodjela", rekao je policijski zapovjednik Steve Graham.
