Papa Franjo uveo je u srijedu katolički svijet u korizmu, ritualima koji su ove godine prilagođeni pandemiji koronavirusa.

Umjesto uobičajene procesije između dviju drevnih crkava u Rimu, Franjo je služio misu za 120 ljudi u Bazilici sv. Petra.

Tijekom korizme, koja završava Uskrsom, kršćani su pozvani da poste, čine više dobrih djela, daju milostinju, budu bliže ljudima koji su u potrebi i pate te da se nečega odreknu, npr. slatkiša.

Vatikan je prošli mjesec izdao upute za provođenje obreda Pepelnice. Svećenicima se savjetuje da pepeo prosipaju po kosi umjesto da ga trljaju po čelu, da nose maske i da poznatu rečenicu "Sjetite se da ste prah i da ćete se u prah pretvoriti" izgovore samo jednom pred svim vjernicima, umjesto svakome pojedinačno.

Papa je u propovijedi rekao da je Pepelnica prilika da se iza sebe ostavi "lažna sigurnost novca i materijalnih stvari koje su danas tu, a sutra ih nema" i da se vrati Bogu.

Kada su upute objavljene, neki katolici su se žalili na Twitteru govoreći da je pepeo koji ostaje na čelu cijeli dan znak prepoznavanja kršćana.

Drugi su se našalili. "Već imam dovoljno sijedih. Pepeo nimalo ne pomaže", tvitala je jedna žena.

Papa Franjo uveo je u srijedu katolički svijet u korizmu, ritualima koji su ove godine prilagođeni pandemiji koronavirusa.

Umjesto uobičajene procesije između dviju drevnih crkava u Rimu, Franjo je služio misu za 120 ljudi u Bazilici sv. Petra.

Tijekom korizme, koja završava Uskrsom, kršćani su pozvani da poste, čine više dobrih djela, daju milostinju, budu bliže ljudima koji su u potrebi i pate te da se nečega odreknu, npr. slatkiša.

Vatikan je prošli mjesec izdao upute za provođenje obreda Pepelnice. Svećenicima se savjetuje da pepeo prosipaju po kosi umjesto da ga trljaju po čelu, da nose maske i da poznatu rečenicu "Sjetite se da ste prah i da ćete se u prah pretvoriti" izgovore samo jednom pred svim vjernicima, umjesto svakome pojedinačno.

Papa je u propovijedi rekao da je Pepelnica prilika da se iza sebe ostavi "lažna sigurnost novca i materijalnih stvari koje su danas tu, a sutra ih nema" i da se vrati Bogu.

Kada su upute objavljene, neki katolici su se žalili na Twitteru govoreći da je pepeo koji ostaje na čelu cijeli dan znak prepoznavanja kršćana.

Drugi su se našalili. "Već imam dovoljno sijedih. Pepeo nimalo ne pomaže", tvitala je jedna žena.
