Blokiranje obveznih kvota za prihvat migranata bit će prioritet mađarske vlade u predstojećem razdoblju, rekao je mađarski premijer Viktor Orban u mađarskom parlamentu u ponedjeljak.

Mađarski kabinet sastat će se u srijedu kako bi razgovarao o tome kako spriječiti taj "pokušaj Bruxellesa da... redovito i u velikom broju relocira u Mađarsku ljude s kojima Mađari ne žele živjeti", rekao je Orban, podnoseći zastupnicima izvješće o prošlotjednom summitu EU-a.

Idući summit EU-a planiran za ožujak pokazat će hoće li države članice prihvatiti automatsko primanje migranata, rekao je. Nova odredba bila bi "standardni mehanizam, koji bi u Mađarsku stalno slao migrante koje ona ne želi primiti i koje sada zaustavlja na svojim južnim granicama", rekao je.

Važna prekretnica na summitu, istaknuo je, bila je to što su europski čelnici prvi put prihvatili mađarski pristup za cijelu Europu i složili se da je zaustavljanje migranata prioritet.

Jasno je kazano da se vanjske granice EU-a mora zaštititi, dok su do sada na prvom mjestu bili zaštita izbjeglica i humanitarni razlozi, kazao je, ocijenivši da se EU sada nalazi u fazi u "kojoj je trebao biti prije godinu dana".

Države balkanske rute, uključujući Austriju, počele su se "kretati putem razuma", smatra Orban.

Istaknuo je također da fizičke prepreke na granici moraju biti pojačane i možda produžene, iako vlada još nije donijela odluku o tome.

Glede pregovora s Velikom Britanijom, Orban je kazao da su pravila o slobodi kretanja zaštićena zahvaljujući zemljama Višegradske skupine i da će i dalje vrijediti za cijelu Uniju i sve njezine građane.

One su sačuvale i pravo da socijalne naknade za radnike koji već uplaćuju doprinose u britanski sustav ne bi trebale biti pogođene promjenama, dodao je, objasnivši da su sporne naknade za građane iz drugih država članica koji ne plaćaju doprinose u Velikoj Britaniji.

No čak ni oni neće izgubiti naknade, nego će one biti samo suspendirane i to samo ako to bude opravdano. Dodao je također da nova pravila neće vrijediti za radnike koji svakodnevno putuju na rad u drugu državu članicu.

Objasnio je također da će naknade za djecu također ostati na snazi, ali u slučajevima u kojima djeca žive u svojoj matičnoj državi a ne u Velikoj Britaniji bit će indeksirana prema standardima države u kojoj žive. To se konkretno odnosi na oko 220 mađarskih slučajeva.

Orban je kazao da su dogovorene sve promjene koje su bile moguće bez promjena Ugovora o EU-u te da je sada na Britancima da odluče žele li ostati u EU.

Za Mađarsku je čast da bude u istoj zajednici s Velikom Britanijom i bila bi sretna kada bi Velika Britanija ostala, zaključio je.

Blokiranje obveznih kvota za prihvat migranata bit će prioritet mađarske vlade u predstojećem razdoblju, rekao je mađarski premijer Viktor Orban u mađarskom parlamentu u ponedjeljak.

Mađarski kabinet sastat će se u srijedu kako bi razgovarao o tome kako spriječiti taj "pokušaj Bruxellesa da... redovito i u velikom broju relocira u Mađarsku ljude s kojima Mađari ne žele živjeti", rekao je Orban, podnoseći zastupnicima izvješće o prošlotjednom summitu EU-a.

Idući summit EU-a planiran za ožujak pokazat će hoće li države članice prihvatiti automatsko primanje migranata, rekao je. Nova odredba bila bi "standardni mehanizam, koji bi u Mađarsku stalno slao migrante koje ona ne želi primiti i koje sada zaustavlja na svojim južnim granicama", rekao je.

Važna prekretnica na summitu, istaknuo je, bila je to što su europski čelnici prvi put prihvatili mađarski pristup za cijelu Europu i složili se da je zaustavljanje migranata prioritet.

Jasno je kazano da se vanjske granice EU-a mora zaštititi, dok su do sada na prvom mjestu bili zaštita izbjeglica i humanitarni razlozi, kazao je, ocijenivši da se EU sada nalazi u fazi u "kojoj je trebao biti prije godinu dana".

Države balkanske rute, uključujući Austriju, počele su se "kretati putem razuma", smatra Orban.

Istaknuo je također da fizičke prepreke na granici moraju biti pojačane i možda produžene, iako vlada još nije donijela odluku o tome.

Glede pregovora s Velikom Britanijom, Orban je kazao da su pravila o slobodi kretanja zaštićena zahvaljujući zemljama Višegradske skupine i da će i dalje vrijediti za cijelu Uniju i sve njezine građane.

One su sačuvale i pravo da socijalne naknade za radnike koji već uplaćuju doprinose u britanski sustav ne bi trebale biti pogođene promjenama, dodao je, objasnivši da su sporne naknade za građane iz drugih država članica koji ne plaćaju doprinose u Velikoj Britaniji.

No čak ni oni neće izgubiti naknade, nego će one biti samo suspendirane i to samo ako to bude opravdano. Dodao je također da nova pravila neće vrijediti za radnike koji svakodnevno putuju na rad u drugu državu članicu.

Objasnio je također da će naknade za djecu također ostati na snazi, ali u slučajevima u kojima djeca žive u svojoj matičnoj državi a ne u Velikoj Britaniji bit će indeksirana prema standardima države u kojoj žive. To se konkretno odnosi na oko 220 mađarskih slučajeva.

Orban je kazao da su dogovorene sve promjene koje su bile moguće bez promjena Ugovora o EU-u te da je sada na Britancima da odluče žele li ostati u EU.

Za Mađarsku je čast da bude u istoj zajednici s Velikom Britanijom i bila bi sretna kada bi Velika Britanija ostala, zaključio je.
