Novi filipinski zakon zahtjeva od svih maturanata i studenata da posade najmanje 10 stabala prije nego što diplomiraju. Vlasti se nadaju da će ovim zakonom formalizirati tamošnju tradiciju sadnje drveća nakon diplomiranja, kao i da će to biti od pomoći u borbi protiv klimatskih promena, prenosi National Geographic.

Zagovornici novog zakona kažu da bi zakon mogao dovesti do toga do čak 525 milijardi stabala bude zasađeno u jednoj generaciji, pod uvjetom da se svi pridržavaju pravila.

'S više od 12 milijuna učenika koji su završili osnovnu školu, gotovo pet milijuna učenika koji su završili srednju školu i gotovo 500.000 koji diplomiraju na fakultetu svake godine, ova inicijativa, ako se pravilno sprovede, osigurati će da se godišnje posadi najmanje 175 milijuna novih stabala. Tijekom jedne generacije, u okviru ove inicijative, može se posaditi i do 525 milijardi stabala", rekao je Gari Alehano, autor prijedloga.

Stabla će se saditi po mangrovama, postojećim šumama, nekim zaštićenim područjima, vojnim poligonima, napuštenim rudarskim lokacijama i odabranim urbanim područjima, a sve prema planovima ozelenjavanja jedinica lokalne samouprave.

Pored neposrednog utjecaja drveća na apsorpciju ugljikovog-dioksida, filipinske vlasti se nadaju da će ovaj potez pomoći da buduće generacije imaju razvijenu svest o životnoj sredini te da će ovakva praksa dovesti do daljnjih ekoloških inicijativa.

Novi filipinski zakon zahtjeva od svih maturanata i studenata da posade najmanje 10 stabala prije nego što diplomiraju. Vlasti se nadaju da će ovim zakonom formalizirati tamošnju tradiciju sadnje drveća nakon diplomiranja, kao i da će to biti od pomoći u borbi protiv klimatskih promena, prenosi National Geographic.

Zagovornici novog zakona kažu da bi zakon mogao dovesti do toga do čak 525 milijardi stabala bude zasađeno u jednoj generaciji, pod uvjetom da se svi pridržavaju pravila.

'S više od 12 milijuna učenika koji su završili osnovnu školu, gotovo pet milijuna učenika koji su završili srednju školu i gotovo 500.000 koji diplomiraju na fakultetu svake godine, ova inicijativa, ako se pravilno sprovede, osigurati će da se godišnje posadi najmanje 175 milijuna novih stabala. Tijekom jedne generacije, u okviru ove inicijative, može se posaditi i do 525 milijardi stabala", rekao je Gari Alehano, autor prijedloga.

Stabla će se saditi po mangrovama, postojećim šumama, nekim zaštićenim područjima, vojnim poligonima, napuštenim rudarskim lokacijama i odabranim urbanim područjima, a sve prema planovima ozelenjavanja jedinica lokalne samouprave.

Pored neposrednog utjecaja drveća na apsorpciju ugljikovog-dioksida, filipinske vlasti se nadaju da će ovaj potez pomoći da buduće generacije imaju razvijenu svest o životnoj sredini te da će ovakva praksa dovesti do daljnjih ekoloških inicijativa.

Novi filipinski zakon ne dozvoljava učenicima i studentima da završe razred ako prije toga ne posade barem deset stabala

Novi filipinski zakon zahtjeva od svih maturanata i studenata da posade najmanje 10 stabala prije nego što diplomiraju. Vlasti se nadaju da će ovim zakonom formalizirati tamošnju tradiciju sadnje drveća nakon diplomiranja, kao i da će to biti od pomoći u borbi protiv klimatskih promena, prenosi National Geographic.

Zagovornici novog zakona kažu da bi zakon mogao dovesti do toga do čak 525 milijardi stabala bude zasađeno u jednoj generaciji, pod uvjetom da se svi pridržavaju pravila.

'S više od 12 milijuna učenika koji su završili osnovnu školu, gotovo pet milijuna učenika koji su završili srednju školu i gotovo 500.000 koji diplomiraju na fakultetu svake godine, ova inicijativa, ako se pravilno sprovede, osigurati će da se godišnje posadi najmanje 175 milijuna novih stabala...
