Najveći brod iranske mornarice Kharg potonuo je u srijedu nakon požara u Omanskom zaljevu, ali posada je spašena i na sigurnom je, izvijestili su iranski mediji.

Nisu dana daljnja objašnjenja za najnoviji incident u regiji osjetljivih plovnih putova, gdje se dugogodišnji neprijatelji Izrael i Iran međusobno optužuju za napade na brodove. Kharg je tanker koji je služio za dopunu gorivom ratnih brodova na otvorenom moru. Porinut je u more 1977. godine, a u flotni sastav iranske mornarice ušao je 1984. godine.

Državna televizija priopćila je da je požar na iranskom brodu s najvećom tonažom počeo oko 22 sata po srednjoeuropskom vremenu u blizini iranske luke Jask, gdje je bio u misiji za obuku.

Omanski zaljev povezan je s Hormuškim tjesnacem gdje prolazi oko petine svjetske nafte.

Spasilački napori za Kharg trajali su satima, navodi se u priopćenju državne televizije, dok se sva posada iskrcala.

"Svi napori za spas broda bili su neuspješni i potonuo je", izvijestila je poludržavna novinska agencija Fars.

U travnju je Iran rekao da je jedan od njegovih brodova, Saviz, bilo meta na Crvenom moru, nakon što su mediji izvijestili da je brod napadnut minama.

To se dogodilo nakon što su se Izrael i Iran međusobno optuživali za seriju zabilježenih napada na teretne brodove od kraja veljače.

Iran ne priznaje Izrael kao državu od islamske revolucije 1979. godine u kojoj je srušen šah kojeg je podržavao SAD.
Izrael iranski nuklearni program vidi kao prijetnju svom postojanju.

Incidenti s brodovima događaju se otkako je američki predsjednik Joe Biden stupio na dužnost u siječnju, obećavši da će se ponovno pridružiti iranskom sporazumu o neširenju nuklearnog oružja iz 2015. godine sa šest svjetskih sila.

Taj je sporazum njegov prethodnik Donald Trump napustio - u potezu koji je Izrael pozdravio.

Najveći brod iranske mornarice Kharg potonuo je u srijedu nakon požara u Omanskom zaljevu, ali posada je spašena i na sigurnom je, izvijestili su iranski mediji.

Nisu dana daljnja objašnjenja za najnoviji incident u regiji osjetljivih plovnih putova, gdje se dugogodišnji neprijatelji Izrael i Iran međusobno optužuju za napade na brodove. Kharg je tanker koji je služio za dopunu gorivom ratnih brodova na otvorenom moru. Porinut je u more 1977. godine, a u flotni sastav iranske mornarice ušao je 1984. godine.

Državna televizija priopćila je da je požar na iranskom brodu s najvećom tonažom počeo oko 22 sata po srednjoeuropskom vremenu u blizini iranske luke Jask, gdje je bio u misiji za obuku.

Omanski zaljev povezan je s Hormuškim tjesnacem gdje prolazi oko petine svjetske nafte.

Spasilački napori za Kharg trajali su satima, navodi se u priopćenju državne televizije, dok se sva posada iskrcala.

"Svi napori za spas broda bili su neuspješni i potonuo je", izvijestila je poludržavna novinska agencija Fars.

U travnju je Iran rekao da je jedan od njegovih brodova, Saviz, bilo meta na Crvenom moru, nakon što su mediji izvijestili da je brod napadnut minama.

Iran ne priznaje Izrael kao državu od islamske revolucije 1979. godine u kojoj je srušen šah kojeg je podržavao SAD.
Izrael iranski nuklearni program vidi kao prijetnju svom postojanju.

Incidenti s brodovima događaju se otkako je američki predsjednik Joe Biden stupio na dužnost u siječnju, obećavši da će se ponovno pridružiti iranskom sporazumu o neširenju nuklearnog oružja iz 2015. godine sa šest svjetskih sila.

Taj je sporazum njegov prethodnik Donald Trump napustio - u potezu koji je Izrael pozdravio.

Najveći brod iranske mornarice Kharg potonuo je u srijedu nakon požara u Omanskom zaljevu, ali posada je spašena i na sigurnom je, izvijestili su iranski mediji.

Nisu dana daljnja objašnjenja za najnoviji incident u regiji osjetljivih plovnih putova, gdje se dugogodišnji neprijatelji Izrael i Iran međusobno optužuju za napade na brodove. Kharg je tanker koji je služio za dopunu gorivom ratnih brodova na otvorenom moru. Porinut je u more 1977. godine, a u flotni sastav iranske mornarice ušao je 1984. godine.

Državna televizija priopćila je da je požar na iranskom brodu s najvećom tonažom počeo oko 22 sata po srednjoeuropskom vremenu u blizini iranske luke Jask, gdje je bio u misiji za obuku.
