Više od 100 ljudi ubijeno je u četvrtak u napadu na vojnu akademiju u Homsu u središnjem dijelu Sirije, prema podacima koje je objavila nevladina udruga Sirijski opservatorij za ljudska prava, a u isto vrijeme izvedeni su turski napadi na kurdske zone u kojima je poginulo devet ljudi.

U napadu na svečanu promociju časnika sirijskog režima "ubijeno je više od stotinu ljudi, od kojih su polovica vojni diplomci te 14 civila", a ranjenih je 125, objavila je organizacija sa sjedištem u Velikoj Britaniji koja se u svojim izvješćima oslanja na razgranatu mrežu izvora u Siriji.

Civili i pripadnici vojske ubijeni su u napadu na vojnu akademiju u pokrajini Homs u središtu Sirije, objavilo je sirijsko ministarstvo obrane u priopćenju, dodavši da su "terorističke" skupine u napadu koristile bespilotne letjelice, javlja Reuters. Priopćenje ne navodi ime neke organizacije i nijedna skupina nije još preuzela odgovornost za napad.

Sirijski ministar obrane prisustvovao je svečanosti promocije, no otišao je nekoliko minuta prije napada, rekao je izvor iz sirijskih sigurnosnih službi te sigurnosni izvor iz regionalnog saveza koji podupire vladu u Damasku protiv oporbenih skupina.

"Nakon svečanosti, ljudi su otišli niz dvorište i pali su eksplozivi. Ne znamo odakle je došlo. Trupla su prekrila tlo", rekao je Sirijac koji je u akademiji pomogao postavljati ukrase, prenosi Reuters. Snimke koje je vidio Reuters na platformi WhatsApp prikazuju ljude u maskirnoj i civilnoj odjeći kako leže u lokvama krvi u velikom dvorištu. Neka od mrtvih tijela su tinjala, a druga su i dalje gorjela. Na snimkama se u pozadini mogla čuti pucnjava.

Sukob u Siriji započeo je prosvjedima protiv predsjednika Bašara al-Asada 2011. Nemiri su zatim eskalirali u rat, u kojem su poginule stotine tisuća ljudi, a milijuni su raseljeni. Sirijska vojska je teško stradala u borbama i u velikoj mjeri ovisi o vojnoj pomoći Rusije i Irana te boraca iz Libanona, Iraka i drugih zemalja, koje podupire Teheran. Asad je vratio kontrolu nad većinom zemlje, no velikim područjem na sjeveru, na granici s Turskom, još upravljaju oružane pobunjeničke skupine, uključujući tvrdolinijske džihadističke borce.

Glavni tajnik Ujedinjenih naroda Antonio Guterres izrazio je duboku zabrinutost zbog napada dronom kao i zbog odmazde provladinih snaga, rekao je glasnogovornik UN-a u četvrtak.

"Glavni tajnik snažno osuđuje svo nasilje u Siriji i poziva sve strane da poštuju svoje obveze prema međunarodnom pravu", rekao je novinarima glasnogovornik Stephane Dujarric.

U vrijeme terorističkog napada na Homs Turska je izvela napade na zone nastanjene Kurdima pri čemu je poginulo najmanje devet osoba, javlja agencija AFP. Turski dronovi ciljali su naftna postrojenja i dvije elektrane, zatim branu te tvornicu u pokrajini Hasake, koja je pod nadzorom Sirijskih demokratskih snaga (kojima dominiraju Kurdi).

Turska je ustvrdila da je napad na Kurde koji imaju autonomnu vlast na sjeveroistoku Sirije odmazda za atentat počinjen u nedjelju u središtu Ankare u kojem su ozlijeđena dvojica policajaca. Napade u Ankari, za koje je odgovornost preuzela turska Radnika kurdistanska straka (PKK), izveli su ljudi uvježbani u Siriji, ustvrdila je Turska, no te optužbe odbacio je čelnik Sirijskih demokratskih snaga Mazloum Abdi.

Više od 100 ljudi ubijeno je u četvrtak u napadu na vojnu akademiju u Homsu u središnjem dijelu Sirije, prema podacima koje je objavila nevladina udruga Sirijski opservatorij za ljudska prava, a u isto vrijeme izvedeni su turski napadi na kurdske zone u kojima je poginulo devet ljudi.

U napadu na svečanu promociju časnika sirijskog režima "ubijeno je više od stotinu ljudi, od kojih su polovica vojni diplomci te 14 civila", a ranjenih je 125, objavila je organizacija sa sjedištem u Velikoj Britaniji koja se u svojim izvješćima oslanja na razgranatu mrežu izvora u Siriji.

Civili i pripadnici vojske ubijeni su u napadu na vojnu akademiju u pokrajini Homs u središtu Sirije, objavilo je sirijsko ministarstvo obrane u priopćenju, dodavši da su "terorističke" skupine u napadu koristile bespilotne letjelice, javlja Reuters. Priopćenje ne navodi ime neke organizacije i nijedna skupina nije još preuzela odgovornost za napad.

Sirijski ministar obrane prisustvovao je svečanosti promocije, no otišao je nekoliko minuta prije napada, rekao je izvor iz sirijskih sigurnosnih službi te sigurnosni izvor iz regionalnog saveza koji podupire vladu u Damasku protiv oporbenih skupina.

"Nakon svečanosti, ljudi su otišli niz dvorište i pali su eksplozivi. Snimke koje je vidio Reuters na platformi WhatsApp prikazuju ljude u maskirnoj i civilnoj odjeći kako leže u lokvama krvi u velikom dvorištu. Neka od mrtvih tijela su tinjala, a druga su i dalje gorjela. Na snimkama se u pozadini mogla čuti pucnjava.

Sukob u Siriji započeo je prosvjedima protiv predsjednika Bašara al-Asada 2011. Nemiri su zatim eskalirali u rat, u kojem su poginule stotine tisuća ljudi, a milijuni su raseljeni. Sirijska vojska je teško stradala u borbama i u velikoj mjeri ovisi o vojnoj pomoći Rusije i Irana te boraca iz Libanona, Iraka i drugih zemalja, koje podupire Teheran. Asad je vratio kontrolu nad većinom zemlje, no velikim područjem na sjeveru, na granici s Turskom, još upravljaju oružane pobunjeničke skupine, uključujući tvrdolinijske džihadističke borce.

Glavni tajnik Ujedinjenih naroda Antonio Guterres izrazio je duboku zabrinutost zbog napada dronom kao i zbog odmazde provladinih snaga, rekao je glasnogovornik UN-a u četvrtak.

"Glavni tajnik snažno osuđuje svo nasilje u Siriji i poziva sve strane da poštuju svoje obveze prema međunarodnom pravu", rekao je novinarima glasnogovornik Stephane Dujarric.

U vrijeme terorističkog napada na Homs Turska je izvela napade na zone nastanjene Kurdima pri čemu je poginulo najmanje devet osoba, javlja agencija AFP. Turski dronovi ciljali su naftna postrojenja i dvije elektrane, zatim branu te tvornicu u pokrajini Hasake, koja je pod nadzorom Sirijskih demokratskih snaga (kojima dominiraju Kurdi).

Turska je ustvrdila da je napad na Kurde koji imaju autonomnu vlast na sjeveroistoku Sirije odmazda za atentat počinjen u nedjelju u središtu Ankare u kojem su ozlijeđena dvojica policajaca. Napade u Ankari, za koje je odgovornost preuzela turska Radnika kurdistanska straka (PKK), izveli su ljudi uvježbani u Siriji, ustvrdila je Turska, no te optužbe odbacio je čelnik Sirijskih demokratskih snaga Mazloum Abdi.
