NAJNOVIJE
Stožer za koordinaciju aktivnosti u slučajevima ugroze hrvatskih brodova i hrvatskih pomoraca u međunarodnoj plovidbi sastao se jutros u Ministarstvu mora, prometa i infrastrukture nakon što je dobio službenu informaciju od brodara Arab Maritime Petroleum iz Kuvajta da su pirati jučer zaustavili brod „Zirku“ u istočnom dijelu Adenskog zaljeva, a na kojem se nalazi jedan hrvatski državljanin.

Hrvatski državljanin brod u svojstvu časnika u prosincu prošle godine i prijavljen je Lučkoj kapetaniji Dubrovnik, kojoj pripada prema mjestu boravišta.

Riječ je o brodu pod zastavom Ujedinjenih arapskih emirata, nosivosti 105.848 DWT, kojeg su pirati zaustavili oko 250 nautičkih milja od obale Jemena.

Stožer je u kontaktu s brodarom, obitelji hrvatskog pomorca, veleposlanstvom RH u Egiptu te nadležnim međunarodnim tijelima.

PRVA VIJEST

Na tankeru “Zirku”, koji je otet 250 nautičkih milja jugoistočno od grada Salalaha u Omanu, najvjerojatnije se kao pomorac nalazi i jedan Hrvat. Tanker je otet u ponedjeljak, a na njemu je u trenutku otmice bilo 29 pomoraca.

Kako se doznaje, tanker s teretom sirove nafte kompanije Arab Maritime Petroleum Transport su tijekom plovidbe, iz sudanske luke Bashayer prema Singapuru, u jednom trenutku ručnim raketnim bacačem napala dva gusarska čamca, u kojima je bilo između osam i deset otmičara.

- Ne možemo potvrditi da se radi o Hrvatu, članu posade na brodu “Zirku”. Prema šturim informacijama koje imamo, postoji mogućnost da se na brodu nalazi Hrvat koji je na tanker ukrcan s američkim dokumentima.

Budući da smo tek dobili informaciju o otmici broda, danas bismo trebali imati neke potpunije vijesti o samom događaju - rekao je Mario Dragun, glasnogovornik Ministarstva vanjskih poslova i europskih integracija.

Prema neslužbenim informacijama, nakon otmice, prema “Zirku”je krenula jedna vojna fregata koja će pokušati brod osloboditi iz ruku pirata.

Uz našeg pomorca, posadu kuvajtskog tankera “Zirku“, nosivosti 105.846 tona, čini 17 Palestinaca, po tri Jordanca i Egipćanina, dva Ukrajinca, te Iračanin, Filipinac i Indijac.

NAJNOVIJE
Stožer za koordinaciju aktivnosti u slučajevima ugroze hrvatskih brodova i hrvatskih pomoraca u međunarodnoj plovidbi sastao se jutros u Ministarstvu mora, prometa i infrastrukture nakon što je dobio službenu informaciju od brodara Arab Maritime Petroleum iz Kuvajta da su pirati jučer zaustavili brod „Zirku“ u istočnom dijelu Adenskog zaljeva, a na kojem se nalazi jedan hrvatski državljanin.

Hrvatski državljanin brod u svojstvu časnika u prosincu prošle godine i prijavljen je Lučkoj kapetaniji Dubrovnik, kojoj pripada prema mjestu boravišta.

Riječ je o brodu pod zastavom Ujedinjenih arapskih emirata, nosivosti 105.848 DWT, kojeg su pirati zaustavili oko 250 nautičkih milja od obale Jemena.

Stožer je u kontaktu s brodarom, obitelji hrvatskog pomorca, veleposlanstvom RH u Egiptu te nadležnim međunarodnim tijelima.

PRVA VIJEST

Na tankeru “Zirku”, koji je otet 250 nautičkih milja jugoistočno od grada Salalaha u Omanu, najvjerojatnije se kao pomorac nalazi i jedan Hrvat. Tanker je otet u ponedjeljak, a na njemu je u trenutku otmice bilo 29 pomoraca.

Kako se doznaje, tanker s teretom sirove nafte kompanije Arab Maritime Petroleum Transport su tijekom plovidbe, iz sudanske luke Bashayer prema Singapuru, u jednom trenutku ručnim raketnim bacačem napala dva gusarska čamca, u kojima je bilo između osam i deset otmičara.

- Ne možemo potvrditi da se radi o Hrvatu, članu posade na brodu “Zirku”. Prema šturim informacijama koje imamo, postoji mogućnost da se na brodu nalazi Hrvat koji je na tanker ukrcan s američkim dokumentima.

Budući da smo tek dobili informaciju o otmici broda, danas bismo trebali imati neke potpunije vijesti o samom događaju - rekao je Mario Dragun, glasnogovornik Ministarstva vanjskih poslova i europskih integracija.

Prema neslužbenim informacijama, nakon otmice, prema “Zirku”je krenula jedna vojna fregata koja će pokušati brod osloboditi iz ruku pirata.

Uz našeg pomorca, posadu kuvajtskog tankera “Zirku“, nosivosti 105.846 tona, čini 17 Palestinaca, po tri Jordanca i Egipćanina, dva Ukrajinca, te Iračanin, Filipinac i Indijac.
