Djeca u Afganistanu zbog gladi nisu u stanju ni hodati ni puzati. Broj neuhranjene djece u mnogim klinikama u toj zemlji raste iz dana u dan, prenosi Radio Sarajevo.

Nakon povlačenja američkih trupa, došlo je i do prekida međunarodne pomoći i produbljivanja ekonomske krize. Rat, glad i siromaštvo najprije su počeli pogađati djecu.

Nakon građanskog rata koji je potrajao četrdeset godina, talibani su došli na vlast, a teret patnje od pola stoljeća pogodio je djecu i njihove majke koje također ne mogu hodati od neuhranjenosti.

Djeca koja pate od pothranjenosti, koja se definira kao stalni nedostatak nutritivnih elemenata potrebnih ljudskom tijelu, lišena su majčinog mlijeka. Razlog je tome neuhranjenost njihovih majki kao posljedica siromaštva u zemlji. Majke nemaju pristup ni osnovnim namirnicama, što utječe na njihovu djecu.

Nedostatak neophodnih dodataka prehrani uzrokuje vidno usporavanje razvoja kod dojenčadi i djece.

Djeca od dvije, tri godine izgledaju kao bebe od osam ili deset mjeseci. Zbog nedostatka hrane, bebe su slabijeg zdravstvenog stanja pa nemaju snage puzati ni hodati.

S dvije godine nemaju preko pet kilograma

Halide​, koja je tek napunila dvije godine, samo je jedna od ove djece. Još uvijek ne može stajati na nogama.

U kliniku je donesena prije dva tjedna, a da se razvijala normalnim putem u ovoj bi dobi već imala dvanaestak kilograma. Njezino se stanje poboljšava, ali još uvijek nije prešla kritičnu granicu.

Ista je situacija i s 25-mjesečnom Gulsum.

U kliniku je stigla s pet kilograma, a nakon dva i pol mjeseca njena kilaža se povećala na 6,4 kilograma.

​Vefa, 25-godišnja majka, danima nije jela ništa osim suhog kruha i čaja. Budući da zbog neuhranjenosti njezino tijelo ne proizvodi mlijeko, i dijete je hranila kruhom.

Dok se bolnice trenutno bore s mnogim problemima, majke koje ne mogu zadovoljiti osnovne potrebe svoje djece, stvaraju duge redove ispred klinika za neuhranjenost. Djeca u polusvjesnom stanju leže im na rukama, potpuno lišena snage.

Djeci se u klinici daju kratkoročni dodaci prehrani te ih vraćaju kući, a ponovo se pregledaju za dva tjedna ili mjesec dana. Mnoga se djeca, iako im je potrebno bolničko liječenje, vraćaju kući zbog teških uvjeta u klinikama ili nemogućnosti prijema svih onih kojima je pomoć potrebna.

Hospitaliziraju se samo životno ugrožena djeca i dojenčad jer su kapaciteti ambulanti nedovoljni.

Milijun djece na rubu smrti

Iz UNICEF-a su u kolovozu prošle godine javili da 3,2 milijuna djece mlađe od pet godina u Afganistanu pati od pothranjenosti, a najmanje milijun ih je u smrtnoj opasnosti.

'Save The Children' objavio je 19. siječnja da se broj neuhranjene djece pod kliničkim praćenjem udvostručio od kolovoza.

Prema podacima Svjetske udruge liječnika, broj djece pod nadzorom u klinikama, kojih je u kolovozu bilo 2.886, u siječnju je skočio na 4.673. U istom periodu, broj teških slučajeva porastao je s 1.438 na 1.938.

Doktor Cemaleddin Abbas izjavio je da se djeca ne razvijaju dovoljno zbog neuhranjenosti.

- Primijetili smo da se broj pacijenata na klinikama za pothranjenost u posljednje vrijeme udvostručio. To pokazuje da je ekonomska situacija jako loša. Većina majki koje se ovdje prijavljuju nemaju mlijeko koje je potrebno dojenčadi - rekao je Abbas.

Djeca u Afganistanu zbog gladi nisu u stanju ni hodati ni puzati. Broj neuhranjene djece u mnogim klinikama u toj zemlji raste iz dana u dan, prenosi Radio Sarajevo.

Nakon povlačenja američkih trupa, došlo je i do prekida međunarodne pomoći i produbljivanja ekonomske krize. Rat, glad i siromaštvo najprije su počeli pogađati djecu.

Nakon građanskog rata koji je potrajao četrdeset godina, talibani su došli na vlast, a teret patnje od pola stoljeća pogodio je djecu i njihove majke koje također ne mogu hodati od neuhranjenosti.

Djeca koja pate od pothranjenosti, koja se definira kao stalni nedostatak nutritivnih elemenata potrebnih ljudskom tijelu, lišena su majčinog mlijeka. Razlog je tome neuhranjenost njihovih majki kao posljedica siromaštva u zemlji. Majke nemaju pristup ni osnovnim namirnicama, što utječe na njihovu djecu.

Nedostatak neophodnih dodataka prehrani uzrokuje vidno usporavanje razvoja kod dojenčadi i djece.

Djeca od dvije, tri godine izgledaju kao bebe od osam ili deset mjeseci. Zbog nedostatka hrane, bebe su slabijeg zdravstvenog stanja pa nemaju snage puzati ni hodati.

S dvije godine nemaju preko pet kilograma

Halide​, koja je tek napunila dvije godine, samo je jedna od ove djece. Još uvijek ne može stajati na nogama.

U kliniku je donesena prije dva tjedna, a da se razvijala normalnim putem u ovoj bi dobi već imala dvanaestak kilograma. Njezino se stanje poboljšava, ali još uvijek nije prešla kritičnu granicu.

Ista je situacija i s 25-mjesečnom Gulsum.

U kliniku je stigla s pet kilograma, a nakon dva i pol mjeseca njena kilaža se povećala na 6,4 kilograma.

​Vefa, 25-godišnja majka, danima nije jela ništa osim suhog kruha i čaja. Budući da zbog neuhranjenosti njezino tijelo ne proizvodi mlijeko, i dijete je hranila kruhom.

Dok se bolnice trenutno bore s mnogim problemima, majke koje ne mogu zadovoljiti osnovne potrebe svoje djece, stvaraju duge redove ispred klinika za neuhranjenost. Djeca u polusvjesnom stanju leže im na rukama, potpuno lišena snage.

Djeci se u klinici daju kratkoročni dodaci prehrani te ih vraćaju kući, a ponovo se pregledaju za dva tjedna ili mjesec dana. Mnoga se djeca, iako im je potrebno bolničko liječenje, vraćaju kući zbog teških uvjeta u klinikama ili nemogućnosti prijema svih onih kojima je pomoć potrebna.

Hospitaliziraju se samo životno ugrožena djeca i dojenčad jer su kapaciteti ambulanti nedovoljni.

Milijun djece na rubu smrti

Iz UNICEF-a su u kolovozu prošle godine javili da 3,2 milijuna djece mlađe od pet godina u Afganistanu pati od pothranjenosti, a najmanje milijun ih je u smrtnoj opasnosti.

'Save The Children' objavio je 19. siječnja da se broj neuhranjene djece pod kliničkim praćenjem udvostručio od kolovoza.

Prema podacima Svjetske udruge liječnika, broj djece pod nadzorom u klinikama, kojih je u kolovozu bilo 2.886, u siječnju je skočio na 4.673. U istom periodu, broj teških slučajeva porastao je s 1.438 na 1.938.

Doktor Cemaleddin Abbas izjavio je da se djeca ne razvijaju dovoljno zbog neuhranjenosti.

- Primijetili smo da se broj pacijenata na klinikama za pothranjenost u posljednje vrijeme udvostručio. To pokazuje da je ekonomska situacija jako loša. Većina majki koje se ovdje prijavljuju nemaju mlijeko koje je potrebno dojenčadi - rekao je Abbas.

Djeca u Afganistanu zbog gladi nisu u stanju ni hodati ni puzati. Broj neuhranjene djece u mnogim klinikama u toj zemlji raste iz dana u dan, prenosi Radio Sarajevo.

Nakon povlačenja američkih trupa, došlo je i do prekida međunarodne pomoći i produbljivanja ekonomske krize. Rat, glad i siromaštvo najprije su počeli pogađati djecu.
