Europska unija ponašat će se kao da ne postoji problem poljskog i češkog pristanka na Lisabonski ugovor, i na taj način pojačati pritisak na Varšavu i, pogotovo, Prag, gdje predsjednici država, Lech Kaczynski i Vaclav Klaus, trebaju dati svoj potpis kojim će završiti ratifikaciju dokumenta u svojim zemljama.

Ipak, iako se svi dužnosnici u Bruxellesu i političari u glavnim gradovima ponašaju jako optimistično, vlada znatna nervoza. Poljska je ranije dala na znanje da će potpisati Lisabonski ugovor bez odlaganja ako odgovor na irskom referendumu bude pozitivan, i nema sumnje da će to učiniti.

Međutim, češki predsjednik Vaclav Klaus nije ništa obećao. Iz Češke, vjerojatno jedine zemlje članice EU-a gdje potvrda Lisabonskog ugovora u Irskoj nije bila na naslovnim stranicama, dolaze kontradiktorne vijesti.

“Mi čekamo odluku Ustavnog suda, a do tada se ionako ništa ne može”, kažu češki novinari u Bruxellesu.

Inače jako govorljiv, Klaus je, upitan nakon irskog referenduma hoće li potpisati Lisabonski sporazum, izjavio da potpis nije ni na dnevnom redu ni na njegovu osobnom dnevnom rasporedu.

Francuski ministar vanjskih poslova Bernard Kouchner rekao je kako je sudbina Lisabonskog ugovora još uvijek krhka.

Britanski mediji otvoreno govore kako između konzervativca Davida Camerona i češkog predsjednika Klausa postoji dogovor. Ako Klaus izdrži do proljeća, kada će konzervativci gotovo sigurno pobijediti na parlamentarnim izborima, tada će Cameronova nova vlada, usprkos činjenici da je britanski parlament već ratificirao Ugovor, staviti Lisabonski ugovor na referendum.

Uzimajući u obzir da antieuropski tabloidi formiraju mišljenje britanske javnosti jasno je da bi Velika Britanija odbacila ovaj novi pravni temelj EU-a. Ali, ako se EU već počne dubinski organizirati preko Lisabona, tada će bi-ti politički gotovo nemoguće, a pravno katastrofalno, organizirati referendum...

Europska unija ponašat će se kao da ne postoji problem poljskog i češkog pristanka na Lisabonski ugovor, i na taj način pojačati pritisak na Varšavu i, pogotovo, Prag, gdje predsjednici država, Lech Kaczynski i Vaclav Klaus, trebaju dati svoj potpis kojim će završiti ratifikaciju dokumenta u svojim zemljama.

Ipak, iako se svi dužnosnici u Bruxellesu i političari u glavnim gradovima ponašaju jako optimistično, vlada znatna nervoza. Poljska je ranije dala na znanje da će potpisati Lisabonski ugovor bez odlaganja ako odgovor na irskom referendumu bude pozitivan, i nema sumnje da će to učiniti.

Međutim, češki predsjednik Vaclav Klaus nije ništa obećao. Iz Češke, vjerojatno jedine zemlje članice EU-a gdje potvrda Lisabonskog ugovora u Irskoj nije bila na naslovnim stranicama, dolaze kontradiktorne vijesti.

“Mi čekamo odluku Ustavnog suda, a do tada se ionako ništa ne može”, kažu češki novinari u Bruxellesu.

Inače jako govorljiv, Klaus je, upitan nakon irskog referenduma hoće li potpisati Lisabonski sporazum, izjavio da potpis nije ni na dnevnom redu ni na njegovu osobnom dnevnom rasporedu.

Francuski ministar vanjskih poslova Bernard Kouchner rekao je kako je sudbina Lisabonskog ugovora još uvijek krhka.

Britanski mediji otvoreno govore kako između konzervativca Davida Camerona i češkog predsjednika Klausa postoji dogovor. Ako Klaus izdrži do proljeća, kada će konzervativci gotovo sigurno pobijediti na parlamentarnim izborima, tada će Cameronova nova vlada, usprkos činjenici da je britanski parlament već ratificirao Ugovor, staviti Lisabonski ugovor na referendum.

Uzimajući u obzir da antieuropski tabloidi formiraju mišljenje britanske javnosti jasno je da bi Velika Britanija odbacila ovaj novi pravni temelj EU-a. Ali, ako se EU već počne dubinski organizirati preko Lisabona, tada će bi-ti politički gotovo nemoguće, a pravno katastrofalno, organizirati referendum...
