U potresom pogođenom području u Turskoj i Siriji broj žrtava raste iz minute u minutu, zadnja raspoloživa brojka bila je 20.000 poginulih. U zoni potresa, u koju se ne može ući osim uz posebne dozvole, boravi i turski predsjednik Erdogan s nekoliko ministara Vlade, koji je od tamo izvijestio i o prvim mjerama koje će turska vlada poduzeti kako bi olakšala život stradalnicima.

Donesena je odluka, rekao je za Jutarnji hrvatski veleposlanik u Turskoj, Hrvoje Cvitanović, da će svaka obitelj dobiti 10.000 turskih lira (500 eura) instant pomoći. Turski je predsjednik pritom javno priznao probleme u prvim satima spašavanja, a za koje ga je turski narod prozivao i obećao da će u roku od godinu dana cijelo područje biti obnovljeno.

Hrvoje Cvitanović pri toj se rečenici sjetio Banije.

Budući da se radi o od ranije poznatom trusnom području, sve općine i gradovi u toj zoni imaju svojevrsne kampove bungalova namijenjene baš za takve situacije,

- To su sve iste kućice, ograđene žicom, namijenjene isključivo za prihvat stradalih. Popunjene su prvi dan jer katastrofu ovakvih razmjera nitko nije očekivao, kaže za Jutarnji Hrvoje Cvitanović.

Nakon što je i zadnja hrvatska državljanka napustila potresom pogođeno područje u Turskoj, veleposlanik Cvitanović može malo odahnuti. Danonoćno je bio na raspolaganju, kako Hrvatima u Turskoj, tako i njihovim obiteljima u Hrvatskoj.

Iako je bilo onih koji su kritizirali Hrvatsku jer su spasilačke ekipe u Tursku otišle kopnom, već prvog se dana ova odluka pokazala golemim pogotkom.

- Baš zato što nisu išli avionom, Hrvati su u Tursku stigli potpuno opremljeni i mogu odmah autonomno djelovati. Imaju sa sobom hranu, vodu, agregate... Ekipe koje su stigle avionskim linijama su došle bez opreme pa još njima treba pomagati, zaključio je Cvitanović.

Nitko od hrvatskih državljana iz potresom pogođenog područja nije se vratio u Hrvatsku. Kako bi svi koji žele napustili pogođeno područje, Turska je, kaže nam Cvitanović, angažirala 122 zrakoplova koji lete iz četiri zračne luke prema Bodrumu, Istanbulu, Ankari, Alanyi i Mersinu. Prioritet imaju ozlijeđene osobe. Namjera je bila izvlačiti ljude i brodovima, ali luka Iškenderun ispod Adane je oštećena toliko da je pristajanje brodova nemoguće.

Grad Hatay sasvim je zatvoren.

U potresom pogođenom području u Turskoj i Siriji broj žrtava raste iz minute u minutu, zadnja raspoloživa brojka bila je 20.000 poginulih. U zoni potresa, u koju se ne može ući osim uz posebne dozvole, boravi i turski predsjednik Erdogan s nekoliko ministara Vlade, koji je od tamo izvijestio i o prvim mjerama koje će turska vlada poduzeti kako bi olakšala život stradalnicima.

Donesena je odluka, rekao je za Jutarnji hrvatski veleposlanik u Turskoj, Hrvoje Cvitanović, da će svaka obitelj dobiti 10.000 turskih lira (500 eura) instant pomoći. Turski je predsjednik pritom javno priznao probleme u prvim satima spašavanja, a za koje ga je turski narod prozivao i obećao da će u roku od godinu dana cijelo područje biti obnovljeno.

Hrvoje Cvitanović pri toj se rečenici sjetio Banije.

Budući da se radi o od ranije poznatom trusnom području, sve općine i gradovi u toj zoni imaju svojevrsne kampove bungalova namijenjene baš za takve situacije,

- To su sve iste kućice, ograđene žicom, namijenjene isključivo za prihvat stradalih. Popunjene su prvi dan jer katastrofu ovakvih razmjera nitko nije očekivao, kaže za Jutarnji Hrvoje Cvitanović.

Nakon što je i zadnja hrvatska državljanka napustila potresom pogođeno područje u Turskoj, veleposlanik Cvitanović može malo odahnuti. Danonoćno je bio na raspolaganju, kako Hrvatima u Turskoj, tako i njihovim obiteljima u Hrvatskoj.

Iako je bilo onih koji su kritizirali Hrvatsku jer su spasilačke ekipe u Tursku otišle kopnom, već prvog se dana ova odluka pokazala golemim pogotkom.

- Baš zato što nisu išli avionom, Hrvati su u Tursku stigli potpuno opremljeni i mogu odmah autonomno djelovati. Imaju sa sobom hranu, vodu, agregate... Ekipe koje su stigle avionskim linijama su došle bez opreme pa još njima treba pomagati, zaključio je Cvitanović.

Nitko od hrvatskih državljana iz potresom pogođenog područja nije se vratio u Hrvatsku. Kako bi svi koji žele napustili pogođeno područje, Turska je, kaže nam Cvitanović, angažirala 122 zrakoplova koji lete iz četiri zračne luke prema Bodrumu, Istanbulu, Ankari, Alanyi i Mersinu. Prioritet imaju ozlijeđene osobe. Namjera je bila izvlačiti ljude i brodovima, ali luka Iškenderun ispod Adane je oštećena toliko da je pristajanje brodova nemoguće.

Grad Hatay sasvim je zatvoren.

U potresom pogođenom području u Turskoj i Siriji broj žrtava raste iz minute u minutu, zadnja raspoloživa brojka bila je 20.000 poginulih. U zoni potresa, u koju se ne može ući osim uz posebne dozvole, boravi i turski predsjednik Erdogan s nekoliko ministara Vlade, koji je od tamo izvijestio i o prvim mjerama koje će turska vlada poduzeti kako bi olakšala život stradalnicima.

Donesena je odluka, rekao je za Jutarnji hrvatski veleposlanik u Turskoj, Hrvoje Cvitanović, da će svaka obitelj dobiti 10.000 turskih lira (500 eura) instant pomoći. Turski je predsjednik pritom javno priznao probleme u prvim satima spašavanja, a za koje ga je turski narod prozivao i obećao da će u roku od godinu dana cijelo područje biti obnovljeno.

Hrvoje Cvitanović pri toj se rečenici sjetio Ba...
