Lava je tekla površinom Mjeseca prije samo dvije milijarde godina, pokazala je analiza stijena koje su donesene na Zemlju u sklopu kineske misije "Chang'e-5".

Naime, kemijska analiza stijene, teške oko dva kilograma, pokazala je da su na Mjesecu vulkanske aktivnosti trajale duže nego što se do sada pretpostavljalo, objavili su znanstvenici Akademije geoloških znanosti u Pekingu, piše National Geographic.

Rezultati analize, objavljeni nedavno u časopisu "Science", ukazuju da su to najmlađe vulkanske stijene na Mjesecu.

Znanstvenici su otkrili da su uzorci milijardu godina mlađi od onih stijena koje su na Zemlju donijeli astronauti iz Amerike i bivšeg Sovjetskog Saveza prije više od 40 godina.

Jedan od koautora studije, Aleksandar Nemčin, ukazao je da stijene, donesene u prethodnim misijama, nisu bile mlađe od 3,1 milijardu godina.

Studija, međutim, nije pokazala da na Mjesecu postoji velika količina radioaktivnih elemenata koji bi osigurali toplinu neophodnu za vulkansku aktivnost, tako da za znanstvenike ostaje nepoznanica kako je lava tako dugo tekla tim nebeskim tijelom koje je formirano prije oko 4,5 milijarde godina, prenosi Sputnik.

Pred znanstvenicima je stoga još jedan zadatak - da utvrde koje su to druge sile mogle održati vulkansku aktivnost na Mjesecu, piše National Geographic.

Lava je tekla površinom Mjeseca prije samo dvije milijarde godina, pokazala je analiza stijena koje su donesene na Zemlju u sklopu kineske misije "Chang'e-5".

Naime, kemijska analiza stijene, teške oko dva kilograma, pokazala je da su na Mjesecu vulkanske aktivnosti trajale duže nego što se do sada pretpostavljalo, objavili su znanstvenici Akademije geoloških znanosti u Pekingu, piše National Geographic.

Rezultati analize, objavljeni nedavno u časopisu "Science", ukazuju da su to najmlađe vulkanske stijene na Mjesecu.

Znanstvenici su otkrili da su uzorci milijardu godina mlađi od onih stijena koje su na Zemlju donijeli astronauti iz Amerike i bivšeg Sovjetskog Saveza prije više od 40 godina.

Jedan od koautora studije, Aleksandar Nemčin, ukazao je da stijene, donesene u prethodnim misijama, nisu bile mlađe od 3,1 milijardu godina.

Studija, međutim, nije pokazala da na Mjesecu postoji velika količina radioaktivnih elemenata koji bi osigurali toplinu neophodnu za vulkansku aktivnost, tako da za znanstvenike ostaje nepoznanica kako je lava tako dugo tekla tim nebeskim tijelom koje je formirano prije oko 4,5 milijarde godina, prenosi Sputnik.

Pred znanstvenicima je stoga još jedan zadatak - da utvrde koje su to druge sile mogle održati vulkansku aktivnost na Mjesecu, piše National Geographic.

Lava je tekla površinom Mjeseca prije samo dvije milijarde godina, pokazala je analiza stijena koje su donesene na Zemlju u sklopu kineske misije "Chang'e-5".

Naime, kemijska analiza stijene, teške oko dva kilograma, pokazala je da su na Mjesecu vulkanske aktivnosti trajale duže nego što se do sada pretpostavljalo, objavili su znanstvenici Akademije geoloških znanosti u Pekingu, piše National Geographic.

Rezultati analize, objavljeni nedavno u časopisu "Science", ukazuju da su to najmlađe vulkanske stijene na Mjesecu.

Znanstvenici su otkrili da su uzorci milijardu godina mlađi od onih stijena koje su na Zemlju donijeli astronauti iz Amerike i bivšeg Sovjetskog Saveza prije više od 40 godina.
