Uganda je objavila da je nakon nekoliko provedenih istraživanja otkrila 31 milijun metričkih tona zlata koje čekaju na iskopavanje.

Glasnogovornik Ministarstva energetike i razvoja minerala u Ugandi, Solomon Muyita, rekao je da su ovi izvještaji usmjereni na privlačenje rudara zlata i ulagača u kripto sektor, piše Dnevnik.ba.

U nastojanju da potakne ekonomiju zemlje, ugandska vlada licencirala je kinesku kompaniju za rudarenje zlata Wagagai da započne proizvodnju proizvoda od zlata u okrugu Busia. Kompanija je započela izgradnju svoje rafinerije zlata u vrijednosti od 200 milijuna dolara 2016. godine. Muyita je rekao da bi se otkriveno zlato moglo odmah početi iskopavati.

Lokalno rafiniranje zlata moglo bi povećati broj radnih mjesta i poboljšati pružanje socijalnih usluga onima koji žive u blizini mjesta vađenja minerala.

Predsjednik Ugande Yoweri Museveni pozvao je na lokalno pročišćavanje robe, nazivajući svaku vanjsku rafineriju kriminalnom.

"Kriminalno je da se bilo tko zalaže za nastavak izvoza sirovina iz Afrike, kada postoji 90 posto veća vrijednost u tom proizvodu nego što dajete strancima," rekao je Museveni.

Tan Chun Chi, generalni direktor kompanije Wagagai za rudarenje zlata, kaže da je investicija dosegnula 60 milijuna dolara. Objašnjava da su zaostajali u izgradnji zbog neposjedovanja dviju dozvola. Kompanija je u ožujku dobila dozvolu za proizvodnju zlata i ima 21-godišnji zakup za rudnik zlata. Očekuju da će iskopavanje zlata početi u srpnju 2023. godine.

Kineska kompanija je uložila 200 milijuna dolara u izgradnju rafinerije. Uprkos svom zlatu otkrivenom u zemlji, postoje velike poteškoće u rudarenju, što utječe na količinu rude koja se svake godine iskopa, a koja iznosi 2.500 do 3.000 metričkih tona, piše Dnevnik.ba.

Uganda je objavila da je nakon nekoliko provedenih istraživanja otkrila 31 milijun metričkih tona zlata koje čekaju na iskopavanje.

Glasnogovornik Ministarstva energetike i razvoja minerala u Ugandi, Solomon Muyita, rekao je da su ovi izvještaji usmjereni na privlačenje rudara zlata i ulagača u kripto sektor, piše Dnevnik.ba.

U nastojanju da potakne ekonomiju zemlje, ugandska vlada licencirala je kinesku kompaniju za rudarenje zlata Wagagai da započne proizvodnju proizvoda od zlata u okrugu Busia. Kompanija je započela izgradnju svoje rafinerije zlata u vrijednosti od 200 milijuna dolara 2016. godine. Muyita je rekao da bi se otkriveno zlato moglo odmah početi iskopavati.

Lokalno rafiniranje zlata moglo bi povećati broj radnih mjesta i poboljšati pružanje socijalnih usluga onima koji žive u blizini mjesta vađenja minerala.

Predsjednik Ugande Yoweri Museveni pozvao je na lokalno pročišćavanje robe, nazivajući svaku vanjsku rafineriju kriminalnom.

"Kriminalno je da se bilo tko zalaže za nastavak izvoza sirovina iz Afrike, kada postoji 90 posto veća vrijednost u tom proizvodu nego što dajete strancima," rekao je Museveni.

Tan Chun Chi, generalni direktor kompanije Wagagai za rudarenje zlata, kaže da je investicija dosegnula 60 milijuna dolara. Objašnjava da su zaostajali u izgradnji zbog neposjedovanja dviju dozvola. Kompanija je u ožujku dobila dozvolu za proizvodnju zlata i ima 21-godišnji zakup za rudnik zlata. Očekuju da će iskopavanje zlata početi u srpnju 2023. godine.

Kineska kompanija je uložila 200 milijuna dolara u izgradnju rafinerije. Uprkos svom zlatu otkrivenom u zemlji, postoje velike poteškoće u rudarenju, što utječe na količinu rude koja se svake godine iskopa, a koja iznosi 2.500 do 3.000 metričkih tona, piše Dnevnik.ba.
