Političari, među kojima brojni predsjednici država, aktualni i bivši, umjetnici, duhovni vođe sa svih strana svijeta pridružit će se obilježavanju sjećanja na ovoga velikog čovjeka koji je preminuo u četvrtak u 95. godini u Johannesburgu nakon šestomjesečne borbe s bolešću te životne borbe protiv nepravde koja ga je stajala 27 godina provedenih u zatvoru.

Među onima koji će doputovati u JAR kako bi odali počast ikoni borbe protiv apartheida su aktualni američki predsjednik Barack Obama i dvojica njegovih prethodnika George W. Bush te Bill Clinton.

"Tjedan ćemo provesti oplakujući njegov odlazak, no provest ćemo ga istodobno proslavljajući jedan dobro proživljen život. Svi ćemo se zajedno angažirati na organiziranju pogreba dostojnog ovoga iznimnog oca naše zemlje i oca naše mlade nacije", kazao je aktualni predsjednik JAR-a Jacob Zuma.

Južnoafrička vlada tijekom dana će izvijestiti kada će početi stizati visoki dužnosnici iz svijeta.

Stanovnici Južnoafričke Republike ne trebaju službene ceremonije da bi odali počast prvome crnom predsjedniku države, karizmatičnom i velikodušnom čovjeku. Na ulicama, u radijskim i televizijskim programima govori se uglavnom o njegovoj smrti i u drugi plan stavlja sve što se događa u ostatku svijeta.

Pred kućom u Johannesburgu u kojoj je Mandela izdahnuo, pred kućom u Sowetu u kojoj je živio prije uhićenja 1962., pred njegovom statuom u jednom trgovinskom centru u predgrađu Johannesburga koji nosi njegovo ime, ispred sjedišta predsjedništva u Pretoriji, pred gradskom vjećnicom u Cape Townu gdje je održao svoj prvi govor o slobodnom čovjeku 1990., na svim simboličnim mjestima u zemlji, obični, mali ljudi polažu cvijeće i poruke, odajući mu iskrenu počast i sjećajući ga se.

Političari, među kojima brojni predsjednici država, aktualni i bivši, umjetnici, duhovni vođe sa svih strana svijeta pridružit će se obilježavanju sjećanja na ovoga velikog čovjeka koji je preminuo u četvrtak u 95. godini u Johannesburgu nakon šestomjesečne borbe s bolešću te životne borbe protiv nepravde koja ga je stajala 27 godina provedenih u zatvoru.

Među onima koji će doputovati u JAR kako bi odali počast ikoni borbe protiv apartheida su aktualni američki predsjednik Barack Obama i dvojica njegovih prethodnika George W. Bush te Bill Clinton.

"Tjedan ćemo provesti oplakujući njegov odlazak, no provest ćemo ga istodobno proslavljajući jedan dobro proživljen život. Svi ćemo se zajedno angažirati na organiziranju pogreba dostojnog ovoga iznimnog oca naše zemlje i oca naše mlade nacije", kazao je aktualni predsjednik JAR-a Jacob Zuma.

Južnoafrička vlada tijekom dana će izvijestiti kada će početi stizati visoki dužnosnici iz svijeta.

Stanovnici Južnoafričke Republike ne trebaju službene ceremonije da bi odali počast prvome crnom predsjedniku države, karizmatičnom i velikodušnom čovjeku. Na ulicama, u radijskim i televizijskim programima govori se uglavnom o njegovoj smrti i u drugi plan stavlja sve što se događa u ostatku svijeta.

Pred kućom u Johannesburgu u kojoj je Mandela izdahnuo, pred kućom u Sowetu u kojoj je živio prije uhićenja 1962., pred njegovom statuom u jednom trgovinskom centru u predgrađu Johannesburga koji nosi njegovo ime, ispred sjedišta predsjedništva u Pretoriji, pred gradskom vjećnicom u Cape Townu gdje je održao svoj prvi govor o slobodnom čovjeku 1990., na svim simboličnim mjestima u zemlji, obični, mali ljudi polažu cvijeće i poruke, odajući mu iskrenu počast i sjećajući ga se.
