Ishod najneizvjesnijih (iako je sada već očito da će Joe Biden slaviti) predsjedničkih izbora u Americi napeto prati naša glumica Marija Omaljev koja već nekoliko godina živi u Los Angelesu. Kontaktirali smo je kako bi nam iz prve ruke rekla svoje dojmove.

- Od utorka smo u iščekivanju. Već je bilo najavljeno kako će se duže čekati rezultati izbora, a zbog korone bilo je dozvoljeno odlučiti se za glasovanje pisanim putem ili uživo na izbornim mjestima. Sada su sve oči uprte u Nevadu koja broji i nikako da izbroji. Brzinom me podsjećaju na Hrvatske željeznice. Za sada se čini da će pobijediti Joe Biden, koji je po mom mišljenju bolji izbor, ne samo zbog ljudi, teške situacije sa skupim zdravstvom u Americi, rasne, vjerske i spolne netrpeljivosti koja je uzela maha posljednih godina, nego i za cijeli planet, jer kao što ste čuli Trump je izašao iz Pariškog sporazuma. U Los Angelesu je stanovništvo dosta šaroliko, svi su navikli živjeti jedni s drugima, tako da nema toliko rasizma ni diskriminacije. Kada ljudi žive jedni s drugima shvate da su te razlike samo stvar percepcije. Iščekujemo Bidenovu pobjedu i nadam se boljem svijetu s manje podjela na lijevo i desno, rekla nam je Marija.

Za komentar smo zamolili i televizijsku producenticu i redateljicu Ashley Colburn koja se nakon dobivenog Emmyja za dokumentarac "Wow Croatia" doselila u Hrvatsku (u Istri je kupila kuću), a gledali smo je i u showu "Zvijezde pjevaju". Od ožujka se nalazi u San Diegu, a povratak u Hrvatsku željno očekuje.

- Izbori u Americi oduvijek su mi bili važni i smatram da je za sve Amerikance bitno da glasuju. Toliko onoga što se događa u SAD-u utječe na cijeli svijet i kao što vidite, svaki glas se računa! Trenutno smo u vrlo tijesnoj utrci, ali vjerujem da će Biden-Harris pobijediti. Sigurno će nastati kaos ako Trump ne pobijedi jer ne želi izgubiti, no mislim da na ovim izborima nema prevare. Izlaznost glasova izuzetno je velika, ljudima je stalo do ovih izbora, posebno kada vidite količinu nejednakosti koja postoji čak i u vremenima globalne pandemije. Očekujem manje nerede bez obzira na to tko preuzme dužnost. Mislim da ćemo, ako Biden pobijedi, biti umjerenija Amerika, jer će Senat vjerojatno biti republikanski. Živeći u Hrvatskoj, čula sam da mnogi ljudi ne glasaju, a to mi je teško čuti jer, kao što vidite ovdje u SAD-u, promjena uvijek može biti, zaključila je Ashley koja je svoj glas dala e-mailom prije mjesec dana.

Ishod najneizvjesnijih (iako je sada već očito da će Joe Biden slaviti) predsjedničkih izbora u Americi napeto prati naša glumica Marija Omaljev koja već nekoliko godina živi u Los Angelesu. Kontaktirali smo je kako bi nam iz prve ruke rekla svoje dojmove.

- Od utorka smo u iščekivanju. Već je bilo najavljeno kako će se duže čekati rezultati izbora, a zbog korone bilo je dozvoljeno odlučiti se za glasovanje pisanim putem ili uživo na izbornim mjestima. Sada su sve oči uprte u Nevadu koja broji i nikako da izbroji. Brzinom me podsjećaju na Hrvatske željeznice. Za sada se čini da će pobijediti Joe Biden, koji je po mom mišljenju bolji izbor, ne samo zbog ljudi, teške situacije sa skupim zdravstvom u Americi, rasne, vjerske i spolne netrpeljivosti koja je uzela maha posljednih godina, nego i za cijeli planet, jer kao što ste čuli Trump je izašao iz Pariškog sporazuma. U Los Angelesu je stanovništvo dosta šaroliko, svi su navikli živjeti jedni s drugima, tako da nema toliko rasizma ni diskriminacije. Kada ljudi žive jedni s drugima shvate da su te razlike samo stvar percepcije. Iščekujemo Bidenovu pobjedu i nadam se boljem svijetu s manje podjela na lijevo i desno, rekla nam je Marija.

Za komentar smo zamolili i televizijsku producenticu i redateljicu Ashley Colburn koja se nakon dobivenog Emmyja za dokumentarac "Wow Croatia" doselila u Hrvatsku (u Istri je kupila kuću), a gledali smo je i u showu "Zvijezde pjevaju". Od ožujka se nalazi u San Diegu, a povratak u Hrvatsku željno očekuje.

- Izbori u Americi oduvijek su mi bili važni i smatram da je za sve Amerikance bitno da glasuju. Toliko onoga što se događa u SAD-u utječe na cijeli svijet i kao što vidite, svaki glas se računa! Trenutno smo u vrlo tijesnoj utrci, ali vjerujem da će Biden-Harris pobijediti. Sigurno će nastati kaos ako Trump ne pobijedi jer ne želi izgubiti, no mislim da na ovim izborima nema prevare. Izlaznost glasova izuzetno je velika, ljudima je stalo do ovih izbora, posebno kada vidite količinu nejednakosti koja postoji čak i u vremenima globalne pandemije. Očekujem manje nerede bez obzira na to tko preuzme dužnost. Mislim da ćemo, ako Biden pobijedi, biti umjerenija Amerika, jer će Senat vjerojatno biti republikanski. Živeći u Hrvatskoj, čula sam da mnogi ljudi ne glasaju, a to mi je teško čuti jer, kao što vidite ovdje u SAD-u, promjena uvijek može biti, zaključila je Ashley koja je svoj glas dala e-mailom prije mjesec dana.

Ishod najneizvjesnijih (iako je sada već očito da će Joe Biden slaviti) predsjedničkih izbora u Americi napeto prati naša glumica Marija Omaljev koja već nekoliko godina živi u Los Angelesu. Kontaktirali smo je kako bi nam iz prve ruke rekla svoje dojmove.

- Od utorka smo u iščekivanju. Već je bilo najavljeno kako će se duže čekati rezultati izbora, a zbog korone bilo je dozvoljeno odlučiti se za glasovanje pisanim putem ili uživo na izbornim mjestima. Sada su sve oči uprte u Nevadu koja broji i nikako da izbroji. Brzinom me podsjećaju na Hrvatske željeznice. Za sada se čini da će pobijediti Joe Biden, koji je po mom mišljenju bolji izbor, ne samo zbog ljudi, teške situacije sa skupim zdravstvom u Americi, rasne, vjerske i spolne netrpeljivosti koja je uzela maha posljednih godina...
