Djeca koja su izložena zagađenju zraka, poput dima i ispušnih automobilskih plinova iz automobila, čak i samo jedan dan tjedno pod povećanim su rizikom razvoja srčanih i drugih kardiovaskularnih bolesti u odrasloj dobi.

Analizu je objavio znanstveni časopis Nature Scientific Report i prva je takve vrste koja istražuje posljedice onečišćenja zraka na kardiovaskularni i imunološki sustav djece na ovakav način.

“Mislim da je ovo dovoljno uvjerljivo pedijatrima da ustvrde da konačno imamo dokaze da onečišćenje zraka uzrokuje promjene u imunološkom i kardiovaskularnom sustavu, a ne samo astmu i respiratorne bolesti kao što je vrijedilo do sada”, kazala je za Science Daily voditeljica istraživanja Mary Prunicki, direktorica istraživanja posljedica zagađenja zraka po zdravlje na Sveučilištu Stanford, prenosi N1.

Istraživači su proučavali posljedice izloženosti zagađenom zraku tijekom jednog dana, jednog tjedna, odnosno tijekom jednog, tri, šest i 12 mjeseci godišnje. Kombinirajući svoja promatranja u gradu Fresnu u Kaliforniji s demografskim podacima o zdravlju, ubrzo se počela kristalizirati zabrinjavajuća slika posljedica zagađenosti zraka po zdravlje.

Između niza drugih posljedica izloženosti zagađenju u djetinjstvu po zdravlje u odrasloj dobi, znanstvenici su utvrdili da izloženost sitnim česticama PM2,5 ugljičnog monoksida i ozona vremenom povećava rizik od metilacije, procesa na citozinskim ostacima kojim se inhibira prepisivanje gena bez da se mijenja DNK, što u konačnici ima posljedice po stanje s monocitima, bijelim krvnim stanicama koje igraju ključnu ulogu u stvaranju naslaga u arterijama.

Djeca koja su izložena zagađenju zraka, poput dima i ispušnih automobilskih plinova iz automobila, čak i samo jedan dan tjedno pod povećanim su rizikom razvoja srčanih i drugih kardiovaskularnih bolesti u odrasloj dobi.

Analizu je objavio znanstveni časopis Nature Scientific Report i prva je takve vrste koja istražuje posljedice onečišćenja zraka na kardiovaskularni i imunološki sustav djece na ovakav način.

“Mislim da je ovo dovoljno uvjerljivo pedijatrima da ustvrde da konačno imamo dokaze da onečišćenje zraka uzrokuje promjene u imunološkom i kardiovaskularnom sustavu, a ne samo astmu i respiratorne bolesti kao što je vrijedilo do sada”, kazala je za Science Daily voditeljica istraživanja Mary Prunicki, direktorica istraživanja posljedica zagađenja zraka po zdravlje na Sveučilištu Stanford, prenosi N1.

Istraživači su proučavali posljedice izloženosti zagađenom zraku tijekom jednog dana, jednog tjedna, odnosno tijekom jednog, tri, šest i 12 mjeseci godišnje. Kombinirajući svoja promatranja u gradu Fresnu u Kaliforniji s demografskim podacima o zdravlju, ubrzo se počela kristalizirati zabrinjavajuća slika posljedica zagađenosti zraka po zdravlje.

Između niza drugih posljedica izloženosti zagađenju u djetinjstvu po zdravlje u odrasloj dobi, znanstvenici su utvrdili da izloženost sitnim česticama PM2,5 ugljičnog monoksida i ozona vremenom povećava rizik od metilacije, procesa na citozinskim ostacima kojim se inhibira prepisivanje gena bez da se mijenja DNK, što u konačnici ima posljedice po stanje s monocitima, bijelim krvnim stanicama koje igraju ključnu ulogu u stvaranju naslaga u arterijama.

Istraživanje potvrdilo: izloženost zagađenom zraku u djetinjstvu povećava rizik od razvoja srčanih bolesti u odrasloj dobi

Djeca koja su izložena zagađenju zraka, poput dima i ispušnih automobilskih plinova iz automobila, čak i samo jedan dan tjedno pod povećanim su rizikom razvoja srčanih i drugih kardiovaskularnih bolesti u odrasloj dobi.

Analizu je objavio znanstveni časopis Nature Scientific Report i prva je takve vrste koja istražuje posljedice onečišćenja zraka na kardiovaskularni i imunološki sustav djece na ovakav način.

“Mislim da je ovo dovoljno uvjerljivo pedijatrima da ustvrde da konačno imamo dokaze da onečišćenje zraka uzrokuje promjene u imunološkom i kardiovaskularnom sustavu, a ne samo astmu i respiratorne bolesti kao što je vrijedilo do sada”, kazala je za Science Daily voditeljica istraživanja Mary Prunicki, direktorica istraživanja posljedica zagađenja zraka po zdr...
