Indiji je ovo bio drugi pokušaji slijetanja na Mjesec, što je misija koju se smatra ključnom za istraživanje Zemljina satelita i za status zemlje kao svemirske sile, i to samo samo nekoliko dana nakon što se srušio sličan ruski lender.

Svemirskoja letjelici Chandrayaan-3 Indijske organizacije za istraživanje svemira (ISRO), koaj je sletjela na južni pol Mjeseca, to je uspjelo manje od tjedan dana nakon što je ruska misija Luna-25 propala.

Indijski premijer Narendra Modi to je proglasio pobjedom njegove zemlje.

"Ovo je pobjednički poklič nove Indije", rekao je Modi, promatrajući slijetanje letjelice iz Južnoafričke Republike, gdje sudjeluje na samitu BRICS-a.

Znanstvenici i dužnosnici pozdravili su slijetanje letjelice glasnim pljeskom, uzvicima i zagrljajima.

Chandrayaan znači "Mjesečevo vozilo" na hindiju i sanskritu. Godine 2019., ISRO-ova misija Chandrayaan-2 uspješno je u Mjesečevu orbitu postavila orbiter, a lander se srušio.

Letjelica Chandrayaan-3 trebala bi biti u funkciji dva tjedna i provesti niz eksperimenata uključujući spektralnu analizu mineralnog sastava Mjesečeve površine.

Slijetanje na južni pol teško je zbog grubog terena. Ovo je prvo takvo slijetanje na južni pol Zemljina satelita pa je stoga povijesno. Led u tom području mogao bi osigurati gorivo, kisik i pitku vodu za buduće misije. 

"Spuštanje letjelice na južni pol (Mjeseca) omogućit će zapravo Indiji da istraži postoji li led na Mjesecu. A to je važno za kumulativne podatke i znanost o geologiji Mjeseca", rekla je Carla Filotico, partnerica i direktorica konzultantske tvrtke SpaceTec Partners.

Indiji je ovo bio drugi pokušaji slijetanja na Mjesec, što je misija koju se smatra ključnom za istraživanje Zemljina satelita i za status zemlje kao svemirske sile, i to samo samo nekoliko dana nakon što se srušio sličan ruski lender.

Svemirskoja letjelici Chandrayaan-3 Indijske organizacije za istraživanje svemira (ISRO), koaj je sletjela na južni pol Mjeseca, to je uspjelo manje od tjedan dana nakon što je ruska misija Luna-25 propala.

Indijski premijer Narendra Modi to je proglasio pobjedom njegove zemlje.

"Ovo je pobjednički poklič nove Indije", rekao je Modi, promatrajući slijetanje letjelice iz Južnoafričke Republike, gdje sudjeluje na samitu BRICS-a.

Znanstvenici i dužnosnici pozdravili su slijetanje letjelice glasnim pljeskom, uzvicima i zagrljajima.

Chandrayaan znači "Mjesečevo vozilo" na hindiju i sanskritu. Godine 2019., ISRO-ova misija Chandrayaan-2 uspješno je u Mjesečevu orbitu postavila orbiter, a lander se srušio.

Letjelica Chandrayaan-3 trebala bi biti u funkciji dva tjedna i provesti niz eksperimenata uključujući spektralnu analizu mineralnog sastava Mjesečeve površine.

Slijetanje na južni pol teško je zbog grubog terena. Ovo je prvo takvo slijetanje na južni pol Zemljina satelita pa je stoga povijesno. Led u tom području mogao bi osigurati gorivo, kisik i pitku vodu za buduće misije. 

"Spuštanje letjelice na južni pol (Mjeseca) omogućit će zapravo Indiji da istraži postoji li led na Mjesecu. A to je važno za kumulativne podatke i znanost o geologiji Mjeseca", rekla je Carla Filotico, partnerica i direktorica konzultantske tvrtke SpaceTec Partners.

Kako javlja Times of India, Indijci su uspješno sletjeli na Mjesec!

Slijetanje lendera odvilo se po planu.

Indiji je ovo bio drugi pokušaji slijetanja na Mjesec, što je misija koju se smatra ključnom za istraživanje Zemljina satelita i za status zemlje kao svemirske sile, i to samo samo nekoliko dana nakon što se srušio sličan ruski lender.

Svemirskoja letjelici Chandrayaan-3 Indijske organizacije za istraživanje svemira (ISRO), koaj je sletjela na južni pol Mjeseca, to je uspjelo manje od tjedan dana nakon što je ruska misija Luna-25 propala.

Indijski premijer Narendra Modi to je proglasio pobjedom njegove zemlje.

"Ovo je pobjednički poklič nove Indije", rekao je Modi, promatrajući slijetanje letjelice iz Južnoafričke Republike, gdje sudjeluje na samitu BRICS-a.

Znanstvenici i dužnosnici pozdravili su slijetanje letjelice glasnim pljeskom, uzvicima i zagrljajima.

Chandrayaan znači "Mjesečevo vozilo" na hindiju i sanskritu. Godine 2019., ISRO-ova misija Chandrayaan-2 uspješno je u Mjesečevu orbitu postavila orbiter, a lander se srušio.

Letjelica Chandrayaan-3 trebala bi biti u funkciji dva tjedna i provesti niz eksperimenata uključujući spektralnu analizu mineralnog sastava Mjesečeve površine.

Slijetanje na južni pol teško je zbog grubog terena. Ovo je prvo takvo slijetanje na južni pol Zemljina satelita pa je stoga povijesno. Led u tom području mogao bi osigurati gorivo, kisik i pitku vodu za buduće misije. 

"Spuštanje letjelice na južni pol (Mjeseca) omogućit će zapravo Indiji da istraži postoji li led na Mjesecu. A to je važno za kumulativne podatke i znanost o geologiji Mjeseca", rekla je Carla Filotico, partnerica i direktorica konzultantske tvrtke SpaceTec Partners.
