Tajvan je u srijedu u jutro po lokalnom vremenu pogodio potres magnitude 7,4, što je najjače podrhtavanje tla na otoku u posljednjih 25 godina. Prema podacima tamošnje Vatrogasne nacionalne agencije od srijede prijepodne, poginulo je sedam osoba, ali se strahuje da bi ta broj mogao biti veći, jer je dosta ljudi ostalo zarobljeno pod ruševinama Ozlijeđeno je preko 700 građana.

- Podrhtavanje u početku nije bilo previše intenzivno. Ali onda je odjednom, u srednjoj i kasnijoj fazi, postalo nasilno. Upravo sam ustao iz kreveta kad su se prevrnuli stalak za odjeću i niski ormarić. Prevrnula se i polica s knjigama. Postajalo je sve jače i počeo sam se brinuti za naše stvari kod kuće. Srećom, osim što se motocikl prevrnuo, šteta je bila minimalna – opisao je za BBC Ocean Tsai, stanovnik Hualiena, grada koji je bio najbliže epicentru i pretrpio je najveća oštećenja.

Neke višekatnice su se urušile, druge se ozbiljno nagnule. Stradala je i autocesta koja povezuje Su‘ao i Hualien na sjeveroistoku otoka. U jednom od tunela ostali su zarobljeni putnici i vozila. Nakon prvog, uslijedilo je još 100-njak manjih potresa, od kojih najjači magnitude 6,4.

Potresi na Tajvanu su svakodnevica. I ovog puta stanovnicu su prethodno upozoreni, što je vjerojatno doprinijelo da broj žrtava ne bude veći. Na svoj mobitel poruku Nacionalnog centra za uzbunjivanje na kineskom jeziku dobio je i Goran Gašparac, Zagrepčanin koji već 13 godina živi u glavnom gradu, Taipeiju. ali je prije nekoliko dana stigao poslom u Hrvatsku. Odmah je kontaktirao svoje prijatelje i partnere da provjeri jesu li u redu.

- Ovo je drugi najjači potres u povijesti Tajvana, ali ne i nešto neuobičajeno, jer su svakodnevica podrhtavanja između 3-4 stupnja. Ljudi su naviknuti i u pravilu nema panike. Neugodno svakako jest, pogotovo na većim katovima nebodera i kada gledate kada se vaša zgrada ljulja u jednom, a susjedna u drugom smjeru – kaže nam Gašparac.

Mnoge je iznenadilo rušenje zgrada, jer se pretpostavljalo da su građene da podnesu i jače potrese.

- I Tapei i drugi gradovi imaju veliki broj starih zgrada i građevina, koje su građene prije 30-40 godine, pa i više. Novi standardi gradnje počeli su ‘70-tih i ‘80-tih godina prošlog stoljeća, ali ni tu nije sve moderno, kakvu ljudi možda imaju percepciju Tajvana. Osim toga, imate česte slučajeve korupcije, i to na visokim razinama, gdje se zatvaraju oči pred nezakonjem. Mi često volimo Hrvatsku uspoređivati s drugima, pogotovo najnaprednijim zemljama, ali u komparaciji s Tajvanom rekao bih da u nas i nije toliko loše. Evo ja sam baš u Zagreb došao registrirati jednu tvrtku i trebalo mi je ravno tjedan dana, dok sam u Taipeiju za istu stvar potrošio 3.5 mjeseca. A Tajvan je po Doing Businessu, lakoći poslovanja, šesta ili sedma država na svijetu – dočarava situaciju ovaj Zagrepčanin.

Tajvan je u srijedu u jutro po lokalnom vremenu pogodio potres magnitude 7,4, što je najjače podrhtavanje tla na otoku u posljednjih 25 godina. Prema podacima tamošnje Vatrogasne nacionalne agencije od srijede prijepodne, poginulo je sedam osoba, ali se strahuje da bi ta broj mogao biti veći, jer je dosta ljudi ostalo zarobljeno pod ruševinama Ozlijeđeno je preko 700 građana.

- Podrhtavanje u početku nije bilo previše intenzivno. Ali onda je odjednom, u srednjoj i kasnijoj fazi, postalo nasilno. Upravo sam ustao iz kreveta kad su se prevrnuli stalak za odjeću i niski ormarić. Prevrnula se i polica s knjigama. Postajalo je sve jače i počeo sam se brinuti za naše stvari kod kuće. Srećom, osim što se motocikl prevrnuo, šteta je bila minimalna – opisao je za BBC Ocean Tsai, stanovnik Hualiena, grada koji je bio najbliže epicentru i pretrpio je najveća oštećenja.

Neke višekatnice su se urušile, druge se ozbiljno nagnule. Stradala je i autocesta koja povezuje Su‘ao i Hualien na sjeveroistoku otoka. U jednom od tunela ostali su zarobljeni putnici i vozila. Nakon prvog, uslijedilo je još 100-njak manjih potresa, od kojih najjači magnitude 6,4.

Potresi na Tajvanu su svakodnevica. I ovog puta stanovnicu su prethodno upozoreni, što je vjerojatno doprinijelo da broj žrtava ne bude veći. Na svoj mobitel poruku Nacionalnog centra za uzbunjivanje na kineskom jeziku dobio je i Goran Gašparac, Zagrepčanin koji već 13 godina živi u glavnom gradu, Taipeiju. ali je prije nekoliko dana stigao poslom u Hrvatsku. Odmah je kontaktirao svoje prijatelje i partnere da provjeri jesu li u redu.

- Ovo je drugi najjači potres u povijesti Tajvana, ali ne i nešto neuobičajeno, jer su svakodnevica podrhtavanja između 3-4 stupnja. Ljudi su naviknuti i u pravilu nema panike. Neugodno svakako jest, pogotovo na većim katovima nebodera i kada gledate kada se vaša zgrada ljulja u jednom, a susjedna u drugom smjeru – kaže nam Gašparac.

Mnoge je iznenadilo rušenje zgrada, jer se pretpostavljalo da su građene da podnesu i jače potrese.

- I Tapei i drugi gradovi imaju veliki broj starih zgrada i građevina, koje su građene prije 30-40 godine, pa i više. Novi standardi gradnje počeli su ‘70-tih i ‘80-tih godina prošlog stoljeća, ali ni tu nije sve moderno, kakvu ljudi možda imaju percepciju Tajvana. Osim toga, imate česte slučajeve korupcije, i to na visokim razinama, gdje se zatvaraju oči pred nezakonjem. Mi često volimo Hrvatsku uspoređivati s drugima, pogotovo najnaprednijim zemljama, ali u komparaciji s Tajvanom rekao bih da u nas i nije toliko loše. Evo ja sam baš u Zagreb došao registrirati jednu tvrtku i trebalo mi je ravno tjedan dana, dok sam u Taipeiju za istu stvar potrošio 3.5 mjeseca. A Tajvan je po Doing Businessu, lakoći poslovanja, šesta ili sedma država na svijetu – dočarava situaciju ovaj Zagrepčanin.

Tajvan je u srijedu u jutro po lokalnom vremenu pogodio potres magnitude 7,4, što je najjače podrhtavanje tla na otoku u posljednjih 25 godina. Prema podacima tamošnje Vatrogasne nacionalne agencije od srijede prijepodne, poginulo je sedam osoba, ali se strahuje da bi ta broj mogao biti veći, jer je dosta ljudi ostalo zarobljeno pod ruševinama Ozlijeđeno je preko 700 građana.

- Podrhtavanje u početku nije bilo previše intenzivno. Ali onda je odjednom, u srednjoj i kasnijoj fazi, postalo nasilno. Upravo sam ustao iz kreveta kad su se prevrnuli stalak za odjeću i niski ormarić. Prevrnula se i polica s knjigama. Postajalo je sve jače i počeo sam se brinuti za naše stvari kod kuće. Srećom, osim što se motocikl prevrnuo, šteta je bila minimalna – opisao je za BBC Ocean Tsai, stanovnik Hualiena, grada koji je bio najbliže epicentru i pretrpio je najveća oštećenja.

Neke višekatnice su se urušile, druge se ozbiljno nagnule. Stradala je i autocesta koja povezuje Su‘ao i Hualien na sjeveroistoku otoka. U jednom od tunela ostali su zarobljeni putnici i vozila. Nakon prvog, uslijedilo je još 100-njak manjih potresa, od kojih najjači magnitude 6,4.

Potresi na Tajvanu su svakodnevica. I ovog puta stanovnicu su prethodno upozoreni, što je vjerojatno doprinijelo da broj žrtava ne bude veći.
