Cijena Wyoming Asphalt Sour blenda sirove nafte, koji se najčešće koristi u proizvodnji bitumena, zadnjeg dana ožujka na američkom tržištu spustila se ispod dolara po barelu, a slična sudbina zadesila je “teže” blendove, dakle naftu lošije kvalitete – intrigantan je podatak koji je iznio Mario Gatara u svom članku pod nazivom “U pozadini kolapsa cijene ‘crnog zlata’”, objavljenog na Ekonomskom labu.

On navodi kako se samo dan kasnije cijena toga blenda (mješavine) nafte učetverostručila, i to zbog toga što je Donald Trump, predsjednik SAD-a, ustvrdio kako će problem preniske cijene nafte, koja uništava američku proizvodnju nafte iz škriljevaca, riješiti izravnim pregovorima s Rusima i Saudijcima.

Gatara, uz to, navodi i podatak da je na takozvanom “spot” tržištu, na kojem se na dnevnoj bazi nabavlja sirova nafta, cijena kvalitetne, referentne američke WTI sirove nafte pala na 14 dolara po barelu krajem ožujka, što je pad od čak 77 posto u odnosu na početak godine. Na dulji rok, razlika je još i veća – pokazuje to kretanje terminskog ugovora s isporukom u svibnju iduće godine, odražavajući nadu proizvođača i investitora kako će se u dogledno vrijeme tenzije ipak smiriti, a odnos ponude i potražnje nakon početka postkorona-oporavka dovesti u kakvu-takvu ravnotežu, ističe Gatara, aludirajući na to da investitori ipak očekuju oporavak svjetskoga gospodarstva u drugom dijelu godine. Odnosno, bolje rečeno, da se investitori takvim terminskim ugovorima doslovno klade na taj oporavak. Inače će, u suprotnom, debelo preplatiti tu “terminsku” naftu i realizirati veliki, realni novčani gubitak.

Razlog zbog kojeg je cijena nafte pala na tako niske razine nalazi se, među ostalim, u tome što je zbog pandemije koronavirusa, popratnih kontramjera i “rata” između Rusije i Saudijske Arabije, došlo, pogotovo u SAD-u, do nedostatka prostora za skladištenje viška proizvedene nafte. “A to je samo jedan od problema. Drugi problem je iznimno neugodna situacija u kojoj se nalaze brojni nezavisni (mali) proizvođači koji grcaju u dugovima (kapitalni projekti takvog tipa iziskuju ogromna ulaganja i nemoguće ih je u hipu obustaviti), te očajnički trebaju nekakav prihod kako bi održali cash flow u plusu. I povrh svega nemaju gdje skladištiti svježu proizvodnju, osobito ako su lišeni pristupa naftovodima, ili se ne mogu ugurati u njihov pretrpani raspored.

Tankeri plutaju

Zbog toga se već javljaju i nekonvencionalne ideje (treba li uopće sumnjati u poduzetan američki duh!?) poput skladištenja sirove nafte u praznim vagonima”, raportira Gatara o stanju u SAD-u. Pritom upozorava na to da, dok o unajmljivanju željezničkih vagona zasad razmišljaju samo oni poduzetniji, gotovo stotinjak tankera već besciljno pluta oceanima u iščekivanju viših cijena nafte. Trošak njihova najma, napominje Gatara, tijekom protekla dva mjeseca doslovno se upeterostručio, s naznakama nastavka tog trenda. Sve je to bilo dovelo do toga da je tijekom ožujka Mercuria Energy Group, jedna od velikih trgovačkih kuća (osnovna djelatnost je trgovina robama poput nafte, metala ili žitarica), ponudila proizvođačima minus 0,19 dolara za barel Wyoming Asphalt Sour blenda sirove nafte. Dakle, tražila je od proizvođača novac da im “otkupi” naftu. Iako se od tada situacija na tržištu nafte popravila zbog, kao što smo naveli, Trumpova tweeta o tome da će on riješiti situaciju između Rusije i Saudijske Arabije, nije isključeno da se scenarij zakratko opet odvije u pravcu u kojem će u jednom trenutku proizvođači nafte plaćati nekome samo da im “uzme” višak proizvodnje.

Čitavu ovu priču smo naveli kako sjajan dokaz u kolikoj mjeri poremećeni lanci ponude i potražnje, uzrokovani naftnim “ratovima”, geopolitičkim igrama i svim posljedicama pandemije koronavirusa, mogu dovesti do nevjerojatnih ishoda na tržištu kojem prijeti “velika depresija” iz 1929., a ne “velika recesija” iz 2007./2008. Međutim, globalno tržište kapitala, pogotovo ono dioničko, u ponedjeljak i utorak živnulo je sa stopama rasta od oko pet posto, i to na osnovi prvih vijesti prema kojima Zapadna Europa počinje dobivati rat s koronavirusom, a gospodarski zamašnjak u Kini se opet zahuktava. Tako se nastavlja ludi tobogan na tržištu kapitala u uvjetima ekstremne globalne neizvjesnosti, recesije, ali i rekordno vrijednih proračunskih i monetarnih intervencija diljem svijeta u borbi protiv te recesije uzrokovane mjerama protiv širenja koronavirusa.

Cijena Wyoming Asphalt Sour blenda sirove nafte, koji se najčešće koristi u proizvodnji bitumena, zadnjeg dana ožujka na američkom tržištu spustila se ispod dolara po barelu, a slična sudbina zadesila je “teže” blendove, dakle naftu lošije kvalitete – intrigantan je podatak koji je iznio Mario Gatara u svom članku pod nazivom “U pozadini kolapsa cijene ‘crnog zlata’”, objavljenog na Ekonomskom labu.

On navodi kako se samo dan kasnije cijena toga blenda (mješavine) nafte učetverostručila, i to zbog toga što je Donald Trump, predsjednik SAD-a, ustvrdio kako će problem preniske cijene nafte, koja uništava američku proizvodnju nafte iz škriljevaca, riješiti izravnim pregovorima s Rusima i Saudijcima.

Gatara, uz to, navodi i podatak da je na takozvanom “spot” tržištu, na kojem se na dnevnoj bazi nabavlja sirova nafta, cijena kvalitetne, referentne američke WTI sirove nafte pala na 14 dolara po barelu krajem ožujka, što je pad od čak 77 posto u odnosu na početak godine. Na dulji rok, razlika je još i veća – pokazuje to kretanje terminskog ugovora s isporukom u svibnju iduće godine, odražavajući nadu proizvođača i investitora kako će se u dogledno vrijeme tenzije ipak smiriti, a odnos ponude i potražnje nakon početka postkorona-oporavka dovesti u kakvu-takvu ravnotežu, ističe Gatara, aludirajući na to da investitori ipak očekuju oporavak svjetskoga gospodarstva u drugom dijelu godine. Odnosno, bolje rečeno, da se investitori takvim terminskim ugovorima doslovno klade na taj oporavak. Inače će, u suprotnom, debelo preplatiti tu “terminsku” naftu i realizirati veliki, realni novčani gubitak.

Razlog zbog kojeg je cijena nafte pala na tako niske razine nalazi se, među ostalim, u tome što je zbog pandemije koronavirusa, popratnih kontramjera i “rata” između Rusije i Saudijske Arabije, došlo, pogotovo u SAD-u, do nedostatka prostora za skladištenje viška proizvedene nafte. “A to je samo jedan od problema. Drugi problem je iznimno neugodna situacija u kojoj se nalaze brojni nezavisni (mali) proizvođači koji grcaju u dugovima (kapitalni projekti takvog tipa iziskuju ogromna ulaganja i nemoguće ih je u hipu obustaviti), te očajnički trebaju nekakav prihod kako bi održali cash flow u plusu. I povrh svega nemaju gdje skladištiti svježu proizvodnju, osobito ako su lišeni pristupa naftovodima, ili se ne mogu ugurati u njihov pretrpani raspored.

Tankeri plutaju

Zbog toga se već javljaju i nekonvencionalne ideje (treba li uopće sumnjati u poduzetan američki duh!?) poput skladištenja sirove nafte u praznim vagonima”, raportira Gatara o stanju u SAD-u. Pritom upozorava na to da, dok o unajmljivanju željezničkih vagona zasad razmišljaju samo oni poduzetniji, gotovo stotinjak tankera već besciljno pluta oceanima u iščekivanju viših cijena nafte. Trošak njihova najma, napominje Gatara, tijekom protekla dva mjeseca doslovno se upeterostručio, s naznakama nastavka tog trenda. Sve je to bilo dovelo do toga da je tijekom ožujka Mercuria Energy Group, jedna od velikih trgovačkih kuća (osnovna djelatnost je trgovina robama poput nafte, metala ili žitarica), ponudila proizvođačima minus 0,19 dolara za barel Wyoming Asphalt Sour blenda sirove nafte. Dakle, tražila je od proizvođača novac da im “otkupi” naftu. Iako se od tada situacija na tržištu nafte popravila zbog, kao što smo naveli, Trumpova tweeta o tome da će on riješiti situaciju između Rusije i Saudijske Arabije, nije isključeno da se scenarij zakratko opet odvije u pravcu u kojem će u jednom trenutku proizvođači nafte plaćati nekome samo da im “uzme” višak proizvodnje.

Čitavu ovu priču smo naveli kako sjajan dokaz u kolikoj mjeri poremećeni lanci ponude i potražnje, uzrokovani naftnim “ratovima”, geopolitičkim igrama i svim posljedicama pandemije koronavirusa, mogu dovesti do nevjerojatnih ishoda na tržištu kojem prijeti “velika depresija” iz 1929., a ne “velika recesija” iz 2007./2008. Međutim, globalno tržište kapitala, pogotovo ono dioničko, u ponedjeljak i utorak živnulo je sa stopama rasta od oko pet posto, i to na osnovi prvih vijesti prema kojima Zapadna Europa počinje dobivati rat s koronavirusom, a gospodarski zamašnjak u Kini se opet zahuktava. Tako se nastavlja ludi tobogan na tržištu kapitala u uvjetima ekstremne globalne neizvjesnosti, recesije, ali i rekordno vrijednih proračunskih i monetarnih intervencija diljem svijeta u borbi protiv te recesije uzrokovane mjerama protiv širenja koronavirusa.

Cijena Wyoming Asphalt Sour blenda sirove nafte, koji se najčešće koristi u proizvodnji bitumena, zadnjeg dana ožujka na američkom tržištu spustila se ispod dolara po barelu, a slična sudbina zadesila je “teže” blendove, dakle naftu lošije kvalitete – intrigantan je podatak koji je iznio Mario Gatara u svom članku pod nazivom “U pozadini kolapsa cijene ‘crnog zlata’”, objavljenog na Ekonomskom labu.

On navodi kako se samo dan kasnije cijena toga blenda (mješavine) nafte učetverostručila, i to zbog toga što je Donald Trump, predsjednik SAD-a, ustvrdio kako će problem preniske cijene nafte, koja uništava američku proizvodnju nafte iz škriljevaca, riješiti izravnim pregovorima s Rusima i Saudijcima.

Gatara, uz to, navodi i podatak da je na takozvanom “spot” ...
