Maria V. Aljohina pobjegla je iz Rusije. Liderici subverzivnog ženskog punk benda Pussy Riot, koji se proslavio svojim aktivizmom i performasima protiv Putinova svevlašća, nije bilo lako živjeti u domovini. A otkako je krenuo rat i dodatno kriminaliziran svaki oporbeni glas u Ruskoj federaciji, postalo je i neizdrživo.

Aljohina je ranije bila naumila ostati u Rusiji unatoč redovitom nadzoru i pritisku vlasti. Ali sada se pridružila desecima tisuća Rusa koji su pobjegli nakon invazije na Ukrajinu.

Aljohina je prvi put je privukla pozornost ruskih vlasti — i svijeta — kada su Pussy Riot organizirale prosvjed protiv predsjednika Putina usred moskovske katedrale Krista Spasitelja. Za taj čin pobune 2012. godine osuđena je na dvije godine zatvora zbog "huliganizma". Ostala je odlučna u borbi protiv sustava represije, čak i nakon što je od prošlog ljeta bila u zatvoru još šest puta, svaki put po 15 dana, uvijek pod izmišljenim optužbama s ciljem gušenja njezina političkog aktivizma.

No, u travnju su vlasti objavile da će njezin kućni pritvor biti preinačen na 21 dan u kaznenoj koloniji. Odlučila je kako je vrijeme da napusti Rusiju i prerušila se u dostavljačicu hrane kako bi izbjegla moskovsku policiju koja je držala pod nadzorom stan njezine prijateljice u kojem je boravila. Ostavila je u njemu mobitel kao mamac i kako bi izbjegla praćenje. Prijatelj ju je odvezao do granice s Bjelorusijom, a trebalo joj je tjedan dana da pređe u Litvu.

U garsonijeri u Vilniusu, glavnom gradu Litve, pristala je na intervju za New York Times kako bi opisala tegoban bijeg iz Putinove Rusije. "Bila sam sretna što sam uspjela, još uvijek ne shvaćam u potpunosti što sam učinila", priznala je.

Maria V. Aljohina (33) je provela cijeli svoj odrasli život boreći se da njezina zemlja poštuje vlastiti Ustav i najosnovnija ljudska prava, poput slobode izražavanja. Nakon što je prijevremeno puštena iz zatvora u prosincu 2013., ona i još jedna članica Pussy Riota osnovale su Mediazonu, neovisnu medijsku kuću fokusiranu na pitanje zločina i kazne u Rusiji. Napisala je i memoare "Riot Days" i putovala u inozemstvo izvodeći predstavu zasnovanu na toj knjizi.

Iako je njezin san bio otići s tom predstavom na turneju po Rusiji, samo su tri dvorane pristale ugostiti show, a svi su se naknadno suočili s posljedicama.

Prilikom bijega Alohina je putovala je u crnim čizmama s platformama bez vezica, što je posljedica njezinih brojnih boravaka u zatvoru, gdje su joj vezice zaplijenjene. U zatvoru su ona i drugi umjesto toga provukli vlažne maramice kroz rupice na cipelama i njima ih vezali.

Kao snažan simbol, ona i ostale članice Pussy Riot nositi će ih dok budu na turneji koja počinje 12. svibnja u Berlinu, kako bi prikupile novac za pomoć Ukrajini.

Kada su počele nastupati prije više od deset godina, aktivizam Pussy Riot mogao doimati kao provokativni promidžbeni štos. Ali, ako je ikome njihov prosvjed u moskovskoj katedrali – gdje su izvele "Punk molitvu" ismijavajući simbiozu između Ruske pravoslavne crkve i Kremlja – u to vrijeme možda izgledao pretjeranim ili nedoličnim, danas se pokazuje vizionarskim. Nije li crkveni čelnik, patrijarh Kiril, nedavno blagoslovio odlazak ruskih vojnika u Ukrajinu, a Europska unija stavila je njegovo ime na popis osoba koje će biti sankcionirane.

Točno 10 godina od dana kada su Pussy Riot izvele svoj subverzivni performans u katedrali, Putin je održao oštar govor u kojem je za Ukrajinu rekao da ju je "stvorila Rusija", udarajući temelje za svoju invaziju. Aljohina je taj govor slušala na radiju iz zatvorske ćelije. Invazija je, rekla je, promijenila sve, ne samo za nju, već i za njezinu zemlju.

"Mislim da Rusija više nema pravo da postoji", rekla je, vrlo radikalno, za New York Times koja je za vrijeme intervjua bila je okružena ostalim članicama grupe, sada kolektiva od desetakak članova. Većina njih je također nedavno pobjegla iz Rusije, uključujući i njezinu djevojku Lucy Shtein. Ona je pobjegla mjesec dana ranijee, također izbjegavajući ograničenje kretanja tako što se odjenula u odoru dostavljačke službe. A na to se odlučila nakon što je netko na vratima stana koji je dijelila s Aljohinom postavio natpis "Izdajice".

Maria V. Aljohina pobjegla je iz Rusije. Liderici subverzivnog ženskog punk benda Pussy Riot, koji se proslavio svojim aktivizmom i performasima protiv Putinova svevlašća, nije bilo lako živjeti u domovini. A otkako je krenuo rat i dodatno kriminaliziran svaki oporbeni glas u Ruskoj federaciji, postalo je i neizdrživo.

Aljohina je ranije bila naumila ostati u Rusiji unatoč redovitom nadzoru i pritisku vlasti. Ali sada se pridružila desecima tisuća Rusa koji su pobjegli nakon invazije na Ukrajinu.

Aljohina je prvi put je privukla pozornost ruskih vlasti — i svijeta — kada su Pussy Riot organizirale prosvjed protiv predsjednika Putina usred moskovske katedrale Krista Spasitelja. Za taj čin pobune 2012. godine osuđena je na dvije godine zatvora zbog "huliganizma". Ostala je odlučna u borbi protiv sustava represije, čak i nakon što je od prošlog ljeta bila u zatvoru još šest puta, svaki put po 15 dana, uvijek pod izmišljenim optužbama s ciljem gušenja njezina političkog aktivizma.

No, u travnju su vlasti objavile da će njezin kućni pritvor biti preinačen na 21 dan u kaznenoj koloniji. Odlučila je kako je vrijeme da napusti Rusiju i prerušila se u dostavljačicu hrane kako bi izbjegla moskovsku policiju koja je držala pod nadzorom stan njezine prijateljice u kojem je boravila. Ostavila je u njemu mobitel kao mamac i kako bi izbjegla praćenje. Prijatelj ju je odvezao do granice s Bjelorusijom, a trebalo joj je tjedan dana da pređe u Litvu.

U garsonijeri u Vilniusu, glavnom gradu Litve, pristala je na intervju za New York Times kako bi opisala tegoban bijeg iz Putinove Rusije. "Bila sam sretna što sam uspjela, još uvijek ne shvaćam u potpunosti što sam učinila", priznala je.

Maria V. Aljohina (33) je provela cijeli svoj odrasli život boreći se da njezina zemlja poštuje vlastiti Ustav i najosnovnija ljudska prava, poput slobode izražavanja. Nakon što je prijevremeno puštena iz zatvora u prosincu 2013., ona i još jedna članica Pussy Riota osnovale su Mediazonu, neovisnu medijsku kuću fokusiranu na pitanje zločina i kazne u Rusiji. Napisala je i memoare "Riot Days" i putovala u inozemstvo izvodeći predstavu zasnovanu na toj knjizi.

Iako je njezin san bio otići s tom predstavom na turneju po Rusiji, samo su tri dvorane pristale ugostiti show, a svi su se naknadno suočili s posljedicama.

Prilikom bijega Alohina je putovala je u crnim čizmama s platformama bez vezica, što je posljedica njezinih brojnih boravaka u zatvoru, gdje su joj vezice zaplijenjene. U zatvoru su ona i drugi umjesto toga provukli vlažne maramice kroz rupice na cipelama i njima ih vezali.

Kao snažan simbol, ona i ostale članice Pussy Riot nositi će ih dok budu na turneji koja počinje 12. svibnja u Berlinu, kako bi prikupile novac za pomoć Ukrajini.

Kada su počele nastupati prije više od deset godina, aktivizam Pussy Riot mogao doimati kao provokativni promidžbeni štos. Ali, ako je ikome njihov prosvjed u moskovskoj katedrali – gdje su izvele "Punk molitvu" ismijavajući simbiozu između Ruske pravoslavne crkve i Kremlja – u to vrijeme možda izgledao pretjeranim ili nedoličnim, danas se pokazuje vizionarskim. Nije li crkveni čelnik, patrijarh Kiril, nedavno blagoslovio odlazak ruskih vojnika u Ukrajinu, a Europska unija stavila je njegovo ime na popis osoba koje će biti sankcionirane.

Točno 10 godina od dana kada su Pussy Riot izvele svoj subverzivni performans u katedrali, Putin je održao oštar govor u kojem je za Ukrajinu rekao da ju je "stvorila Rusija", udarajući temelje za svoju invaziju. Aljohina je taj govor slušala na radiju iz zatvorske ćelije. Invazija je, rekla je, promijenila sve, ne samo za nju, već i za njezinu zemlju.

"Mislim da Rusija više nema pravo da postoji", rekla je, vrlo radikalno, za New York Times koja je za vrijeme intervjua bila je okružena ostalim članicama grupe, sada kolektiva od desetakak članova. Većina njih je također nedavno pobjegla iz Rusije, uključujući i njezinu djevojku Lucy Shtein. Ona je pobjegla mjesec dana ranijee, također izbjegavajući ograničenje kretanja tako što se odjenula u odoru dostavljačke službe. A na to se odlučila nakon što je netko na vratima stana koji je dijelila s Aljohinom postavio natpis "Izdajice".
