Uz uobičajeno odbijanje ocjene kako je sam jedan od najvećih srpskih nacionalista, Ćosić je ipak priznao kako su "Albanci imali pravo na vlastitu državu, ali nemaju pravo danas na Kosovu uništavati srpsko kulturno nasljeđe sa manastirima iz srednjeg vijeka".
Najzanimljiviji "detalj" koji, vezano za Kosovo, otkriva Ćosić jest da su na tajnim pregovorima Amerikanci ponudili Srbiji jednu trećinu Kosova, ali je ondašnji srbijanski predsjednik Slobodan Milošević odbio ponudu.
Inzistirianje na povratku Kosova Srbiji Ćosić je nazvao čistom fantazijom, pa se, držeći se nekadašnje američke ponude, nada kako će Europa ipak izaći Srbiji ususret i sjeverni dio Kosova, koji je naseljen uglavnom Srbima, pripojiti Srbiji jer "tamošnje stanovništvo nikada neće prihvatiti albansku vlast".
Ćosić je inače izrazio i bojazan kako će "velikoalbanske težnje ugroziti opstanak i dvije Srbiji susjedne - Crnu Goru i Makedoniju, čime će se destabilizirati Balkan".

Uz uobičajeno odbijanje ocjene kako je sam jedan od najvećih srpskih nacionalista, Ćosić je ipak priznao kako su "Albanci imali pravo na vlastitu državu, ali nemaju pravo danas na Kosovu uništavati srpsko kulturno nasljeđe sa manastirima iz srednjeg vijeka".
Najzanimljiviji "detalj" koji, vezano za Kosovo, otkriva Ćosić jest da su na tajnim pregovorima Amerikanci ponudili Srbiji jednu trećinu Kosova, ali je ondašnji srbijanski predsjednik Slobodan Milošević odbio ponudu.
Inzistirianje na povratku Kosova Srbiji Ćosić je nazvao čistom fantazijom, pa se, držeći se nekadašnje američke ponude, nada kako će Europa ipak izaći Srbiji ususret i sjeverni dio Kosova, koji je naseljen uglavnom Srbima, pripojiti Srbiji jer "tamošnje stanovništvo nikada neće prihvatiti albansku vlast".
Ćosić je inače izrazio i bojazan kako će "velikoalbanske težnje ugroziti opstanak i dvije Srbiji susjedne - Crnu Goru i Makedoniju, čime će se destabilizirati Balkan".
