Ana Dumančić, Zadranka koja živi između Zagreba i Denizlija, u svoj je turski dom stigla dan prije razornog potresa koji je paralizirao život stanovnika diljem te velike zemlje. Zbog vremenske prognoze koja je zvučala jako loše i spominjala snježnu oluju promijenila je plan o boravku u Istanbulu i sa svojim suprugom, prof.dr. Feridunom Acarom, neurokirurgom, dovezla se u njihovu kuću u rezidencijalnom djelu Denzlija, a već ujutro probudili su se u ozračju nezapamćene katastrofe koja je zahvatila Tursku:

- Hladno je, snježna je mećava. U Denzliju čija je klima slična dubrovačkoj je u utorak ujutro bila -6 stupnjeva Celzijevih. Ovdje snijeg pada onoliko koliko i u Dalmaciji, ne zadržava se na tlu, i traje jedan dan prije nego se otopi, tako da nitko nije navikao na ovakve vremenske uvjete. U osam godina koliko živim ovdje ovakav snijeg nisam vidjela! Snijeg i hladnoća su u potresom pogođenom dijelu još izraženiji i to će biti velika prepreka u spašavanju ljudi - kaže nam 41-godišnja prevoditeljica.

Snježni pokrivač na jugu Turske, u Denzliju

Denzli je pokraj Izmira, u zapadnom dijelu Turske, s okolicom broji milijun stanovnika i zbog tekstilne proizvodnje se smatra jednim od najbogatijih gradova u državi. Najmanje 500 kilometara je udaljen od područja zahvaćenog potresom, a radi se o prostranstvu većem od površine Hrvatske:

- Deset gradova i 12 milijuna ljudi je ugroženo potresom, a prekrasni povijesni grad Antiohija je sravnjen. Tisuće kuća se srušilo zbog loše kvalitete gradnje, među njima bolnice, policijske postaje pa čak i Centar za izvanredne situacije, AFAD. Zabranjeno je izlaziti na ulicu i koristiti automobil da bi se oslobodili pravci kojim se voze spasitelji i zdravstveno osoblje, humanitarna pomoć, ali problem je što sve to do ugroženog područja ne može doći. Naime, srušene su ceste, nema autoputa, aerodromske piste su pune rupa, velikih po 30 metara. Pomoć u ovim uvjetima može stići samo traktorom ili pješke - priča nam uzrujano ova Hrvatica.

- U Turskoj je proglašena sedmodnevna žalost, škole su zavorene do 13. veljače. Zatvorena su kina, kazališta, frizeri, svi kozmetički saloni. Na televiziji su prestali emitirati sve programe, daju se samo vijesti o događajima na potresom pogođenom području tako da cijeli dan stojimo u kući i gledamo što se događa na terenu. Govori se o pet, šest tisuća srušenih zgrada i oko četiri tisuće mrtvih, no dojam je da se ne želi širiti panika i da će po svemu broj nastradalih biti daleko veći, barem 30 tisuća.

Moj suprug radi na privatnoj klinici, a one su također, nakon sveučilišnih i državnih bolnica, u obavezi držati krevete za pacijente slobodnima. Tako da je dobio naputak da ne prima nove pacijente. Kad je bio prošli veliki potres u Turskoj 1999. godine, sa 17.000 žrtava, on je bio mladi liječnik i kaže da je ova situacija teža jer tada se nesreća dogodila ljeti, u kolovozu. Ovaj potres će imati još tragičnije posljedice - priča Ana Dumančić, dodajući kako se još uvijek do utorka ujutro putem TV-a nije oglasio predsjednik Erdogan.

Ana Dumančić, Zadranka koja živi između Zagreba i Denizlija, u svoj je turski dom stigla dan prije razornog potresa koji je paralizirao život stanovnika diljem te velike zemlje. Zbog vremenske prognoze koja je zvučala jako loše i spominjala snježnu oluju promijenila je plan o boravku u Istanbulu i sa svojim suprugom, prof.dr. Feridunom Acarom, neurokirurgom, dovezla se u njihovu kuću u rezidencijalnom djelu Denzlija, a već ujutro probudili su se u ozračju nezapamćene katastrofe koja je zahvatila Tursku:

- Hladno je, snježna je mećava. U Denzliju čija je klima slična dubrovačkoj je u utorak ujutro bila -6 stupnjeva Celzijevih. Ovdje snijeg pada onoliko koliko i u Dalmaciji, ne zadržava se na tlu, i traje jedan dan prije nego se otopi, tako da nitko nije navikao na ovakve vremenske uvjete. U osam godina koliko živim ovdje ovakav snijeg nisam vidjela! Snijeg i hladnoća su u potresom pogođenom dijelu još izraženiji i to će biti velika prepreka u spašavanju ljudi - kaže nam 41-godišnja prevoditeljica.

Denzli je pokraj Izmira, u zapadnom dijelu Turske, s okolicom broji milijun stanovnika i zbog tekstilne proizvodnje se smatra jednim od najbogatijih gradova u državi. Najmanje 500 kilometara je udaljen od područja zahvaćenog potresom, a radi se o prostranstvu većem od površine Hrvatske:

- Deset gradova i 12 milijuna ljudi je ugroženo potresom, a prekrasni povijesni grad Antiohija je sravnjen. Tisuće kuća se srušilo zbog loše kvalitete gradnje, među njima bolnice, policijske postaje pa čak i Centar za izvanredne situacije, AFAD. Zabranjeno je izlaziti na ulicu i koristiti automobil da bi se oslobodili pravci kojim se voze spasitelji i zdravstveno osoblje, humanitarna pomoć, ali problem je što sve to do ugroženog područja ne može doći. Naime, srušene su ceste, nema autoputa, aerodromske piste su pune rupa, velikih po 30 metara. Pomoć u ovim uvjetima može stići samo traktorom ili pješke - priča nam uzrujano ova Hrvatica.

- U Turskoj je proglašena sedmodnevna žalost, škole su zavorene do 13. veljače. Zatvorena su kina, kazališta, frizeri, svi kozmetički saloni. Na televiziji su prestali emitirati sve programe, daju se samo vijesti o događajima na potresom pogođenom području tako da cijeli dan stojimo u kući i gledamo što se događa na terenu. Govori se o pet, šest tisuća srušenih zgrada i oko četiri tisuće mrtvih, no dojam je da se ne želi širiti panika i da će po svemu broj nastradalih biti daleko veći, barem 30 tisuća.

Moj suprug radi na privatnoj klinici, a one su također, nakon sveučilišnih i državnih bolnica, u obavezi držati krevete za pacijente slobodnima. Tako da je dobio naputak da ne prima nove pacijente. Kad je bio prošli veliki potres u Turskoj 1999. godine, sa 17.000 žrtava, on je bio mladi liječnik i kaže da je ova situacija teža jer tada se nesreća dogodila ljeti, u kolovozu. Ovaj potres će imati još tragičnije posljedice - priča Ana Dumančić, dodajući kako se još uvijek do utorka ujutro putem TV-a nije oglasio predsjednik Erdogan.
