Znanstvenici su za Japan, koji se još nije oporavio od rušilačkog potresa iz lanjskog ožujka i jakog tsunamija koji je uslijedio, objavili novo, vrlo mračno predviđanje - glavni grad Tokio bit će pogođen jednim ili više vrlo jakih potresa, i to uz vjerojatnost od 70 posto!

Kako prenosi The Wall Street Journal, do prognoze su došli znanstvenici iz Instituta za potrese Tokijskog sveučilišta. Preciznije, prema njihovu mišljenju, vjerojatnost da će regiju Kanto s Tokiom pogoditi ove ili neke od idućih četiri godine veliki potres s tragičnim posljedicama iznosi 70 posto.

Vladina agencija koja izučava ove prirodne nepogode već je duže vrijeme navodila kako postoji 70-postotna vjerojatnost potresa jačih od sedam stupnjeva Richterove ljestvice u području Tokija u idućih 30 godina.

Sada, međutim, znanstvenici s najvećega japanskog sveučilišta tvrde kako je serija potresa, počevši s onim velikim od 11. ožujka 2011. godine, matematički “loš predznak“ koji signalizira da će sljedeći jak potres uslijediti mnogo ranije.

Vjerojatnost da će Tokio i njegova predgrađa pogoditi jak potres u idućih 30 godina oni su povisili na čak 98 posto!

Prema znanstvenim istraživanjima, veliki potresi se događaju proporcionalno broju malih potresa snage od tri do pet stupnjeva. Drugim riječima, što je veći broj manjih potresa, utoliko je veća vjerojatnost onog “velikog”...

Na osnovi promatranja japanskog meteorološkog zavoda, znanstvenici Tokijskog sveučilišta su zaključili da se na području Tokija broj potresa slabijih od šest stupnjeva povećao više nego pet puta poslije kobnog 11. ožujka.

A od tog dana do kraja godine u Japanu je bilo čak 577 potresa snage više od pet stupnjeva Richtera, što je četiri puta više nego što je godišnje bilo u prosjeku ovakvih potresa u razdoblju do 1996. do 2005. godine.

Znanstvenici su za Japan, koji se još nije oporavio od rušilačkog potresa iz lanjskog ožujka i jakog tsunamija koji je uslijedio, objavili novo, vrlo mračno predviđanje - glavni grad Tokio bit će pogođen jednim ili više vrlo jakih potresa, i to uz vjerojatnost od 70 posto!

Kako prenosi The Wall Street Journal, do prognoze su došli znanstvenici iz Instituta za potrese Tokijskog sveučilišta. Preciznije, prema njihovu mišljenju, vjerojatnost da će regiju Kanto s Tokiom pogoditi ove ili neke od idućih četiri godine veliki potres s tragičnim posljedicama iznosi 70 posto.

Vladina agencija koja izučava ove prirodne nepogode već je duže vrijeme navodila kako postoji 70-postotna vjerojatnost potresa jačih od sedam stupnjeva Richterove ljestvice u području Tokija u idućih 30 godina.

Sada, međutim, znanstvenici s najvećega japanskog sveučilišta tvrde kako je serija potresa, počevši s onim velikim od 11. ožujka 2011. godine, matematički “loš predznak“ koji signalizira da će sljedeći jak potres uslijediti mnogo ranije.

Vjerojatnost da će Tokio i njegova predgrađa pogoditi jak potres u idućih 30 godina oni su povisili na čak 98 posto!

Prema znanstvenim istraživanjima, veliki potresi se događaju proporcionalno broju malih potresa snage od tri do pet stupnjeva. Drugim riječima, što je veći broj manjih potresa, utoliko je veća vjerojatnost onog “velikog”...

Na osnovi promatranja japanskog meteorološkog zavoda, znanstvenici Tokijskog sveučilišta su zaključili da se na području Tokija broj potresa slabijih od šest stupnjeva povećao više nego pet puta poslije kobnog 11. ožujka.

A od tog dana do kraja godine u Japanu je bilo čak 577 potresa snage više od pet stupnjeva Richtera, što je četiri puta više nego što je godišnje bilo u prosjeku ovakvih potresa u razdoblju do 1996. do 2005. godine.
