Umro je predsjednik Ujedinjenih Arapskih Emirata, šeik Kalifa Bin Zajed Al Nahjan, izvijestila je državna novinska agencija WAM u petak.

On je bio i poglavar emirata Abu Dhabija.

Prema ustavu, potpredsjednik i premijer šeik Muhamed bin Rašid al-Maktoum, poglavar Dubaija, vršit će dužnost predsjednika dok se savezno vijeće koje okuplja čelnike sedam emirata ne sastane u roku od 30 dana i ne izabere novog predsjednika.

Šeik Kalifa, koji je rođen 1948., došao je na vlast 2004. u najbogatijem emiratu Abu Dhabiju i postao je čelnik države. Očekuje se da ga na mjestu poglavara Abu Dhabija naslijedi polubrat princ šeik Muhamed bin Zajed al Nahjan.

On je de facto bio vladar Ujedinjenih Arapskih Emirata, bliskog američkog saveznika, nakon što je Kalifa Bin Zajed Al Nahjan doživio moždani udar 2014., nakon kojeg ga se rijetko moglo vidjeti u javnosti.

U UAE je proglašeno 40-dnevno žalovanje.

Umro je predsjednik Ujedinjenih Arapskih Emirata, šeik Kalifa Bin Zajed Al Nahjan, izvijestila je državna novinska agencija WAM u petak.

On je bio i poglavar emirata Abu Dhabija.

Prema ustavu, potpredsjednik i premijer šeik Muhamed bin Rašid al-Maktoum, poglavar Dubaija, vršit će dužnost predsjednika dok se savezno vijeće koje okuplja čelnike sedam emirata ne sastane u roku od 30 dana i ne izabere novog predsjednika.

Šeik Kalifa, koji je rođen 1948., došao je na vlast 2004. u najbogatijem emiratu Abu Dhabiju i postao je čelnik države. Očekuje se da ga na mjestu poglavara Abu Dhabija naslijedi polubrat princ šeik Muhamed bin Zajed al Nahjan.

On je de facto bio vladar Ujedinjenih Arapskih Emirata, bliskog američkog saveznika, nakon što je Kalifa Bin Zajed Al Nahjan doživio moždani udar 2014., nakon kojeg ga se rijetko moglo vidjeti u javnosti.

U UAE je proglašeno 40-dnevno žalovanje.

Umro je predsjednik Ujedinjenih Arapskih Emirata, šeik Kalifa Bin Zajed Al Nahjan, izvijestila je državna novinska agencija WAM u petak.

On je bio i poglavar emirata Abu Dhabija.

Prema ustavu, potpredsjednik i premijer šeik Muhamed bin Rašid al-Maktoum, poglavar Dubaija, vršit će dužnost predsjednika dok se savezno vijeće koje okuplja čelnike sedam emirata ne sastane u roku od 30 dana i ne izabere novog predsjednika.

Šeik Kalifa, koji je rođen 1948., došao je na vlast 2004. u najbogatijem emiratu Abu Dhabiju i postao je čelnik države. Očekuje se da ga na mjestu poglavara Abu Dhabija naslijedi polubrat princ šeik Muhamed bin Zajed al Nahjan.

On je de facto bio vladar Ujedinjenih Arapskih Emirata, bliskog američkog saveznika, nakon što je Kalifa Bin Zajed Al Nahjan doživio ...
