Kožni osip može biti pouzdaniji simptom koronavirusa nego povišena temperatura ili kašalj, osobito kod djece, upozoravaju stručnjaci iz King’s Collegea u Londonu koji inzistiraju na tome da se osip doda na službeni popis simptoma Covida-19.

Praćenjem aplikacije Covid Symptom Tracker, koju koriste milijuni ljudi, oni su zabilježili porast broja oboljelih s promjenama na koži. Profesor s King’s Collegea, epidemiolog dr. Tim Spector potvrdio je, kako je zahvaljujući korisnicima ove aplikacije, njegov tim uspio potvrditi vezu između osipa i Covida-19. Stručnjaci su izdvojili osam raznih vrsta osipa povezanog s Covidom.

Između ostalog dosta je urtikarije, kao i osipa samo po laktovima i koljenima, crvenih kvrgavih i bolnih kožnih izbočina na prstima ruku i nogu te ekcema na vratu i prsima.

Podaci koje su dobili znanstvenici pokazuju da su osipi dvostruko češći kod djece nego kod odraslih te da se mogu pojaviti prije, tijekom i nakon drugih simptoma virusa – ponekad u razmacima od nekoliko tjedana.

Kako prenosi britanski Mirror u čak u 21 posto slučajeva osip je bio jedini simptom koronavirusa.

Radeći zajedno s Britanskim udruženjem dermatologa, znanstvenici iz King’s Collegea priredili su galeriju od 400 fotografija koje su im poslali korisnici su imali osip.

Valja imati na umu kako je isti tim stručnjaka već uspio prije nagovoriti vladu da doda gubitak okusa i mirisa na popis simptoma Covid-19.

“Naše istraživanje pokazuje da osip može bolje predvidjeti Covid-19 nego vrućica i kašalj, osobito kod djece. Otkrili smo da jedno od šestero djece dobije osip bez ikakvih drugih klasičnih simptoma - objasnila je dermatologinja Veronique Bataille, koja je vodila ovo istraživanje.

Za većinu osipi od Covida-19 traju nekoliko tjedana i potom nestanu. U nekim slučajevima, ako je alergija agresivnija i jako svrbi potrebni su i lijekovi.

Kožni osip može biti pouzdaniji simptom koronavirusa nego povišena temperatura ili kašalj, osobito kod djece, upozoravaju stručnjaci iz King’s Collegea u Londonu koji inzistiraju na tome da se osip doda na službeni popis simptoma Covida-19.

Praćenjem aplikacije Covid Symptom Tracker, koju koriste milijuni ljudi, oni su zabilježili porast broja oboljelih s promjenama na koži. Profesor s King’s Collegea, epidemiolog dr. Tim Spector potvrdio je, kako je zahvaljujući korisnicima ove aplikacije, njegov tim uspio potvrditi vezu između osipa i Covida-19. Stručnjaci su izdvojili osam raznih vrsta osipa povezanog s Covidom.

Između ostalog dosta je urtikarije, kao i osipa samo po laktovima i koljenima, crvenih kvrgavih i bolnih kožnih izbočina na prstima ruku i nogu te ekcema na vratu i prsima.

Podaci koje su dobili znanstvenici pokazuju da su osipi dvostruko češći kod djece nego kod odraslih te da se mogu pojaviti prije, tijekom i nakon drugih simptoma virusa – ponekad u razmacima od nekoliko tjedana.

Kako prenosi britanski Mirror u čak u 21 posto slučajeva osip je bio jedini simptom koronavirusa.

Radeći zajedno s Britanskim udruženjem dermatologa, znanstvenici iz King’s Collegea priredili su galeriju od 400 fotografija koje su im poslali korisnici su imali osip.

Valja imati na umu kako je isti tim stručnjaka već uspio prije nagovoriti vladu da doda gubitak okusa i mirisa na popis simptoma Covid-19.

“Naše istraživanje pokazuje da osip može bolje predvidjeti Covid-19 nego vrućica i kašalj, osobito kod djece. Otkrili smo da jedno od šestero djece dobije osip bez ikakvih drugih klasičnih simptoma - objasnila je dermatologinja Veronique Bataille, koja je vodila ovo istraživanje.

Za većinu osipi od Covida-19 traju nekoliko tjedana i potom nestanu. U nekim slučajevima, ako je alergija agresivnija i jako svrbi potrebni su i lijekovi.

Kožni osip može biti pouzdaniji simptom koronavirusa nego povišena temperatura ili kašalj, osobito kod djece, upozoravaju stručnjaci iz King’s Collegea u Londonu koji inzistiraju na tome da se osip doda na službeni popis simptoma Covida-19.

Praćenjem aplikacije Covid Symptom Tracker, koju koriste milijuni ljudi, oni su zabilježili porast broja oboljelih s promjenama na koži. Profesor s King’s Collegea, epidemiolog dr. Tim Spector potvrdio je, kako je zahvaljujući korisnicima ove aplikacije, njegov tim uspio potvrditi vezu između osipa i Covida-19. Stručnjaci su izdvojili osam raznih vrsta osipa povezanog s Covidom.
