U Bosni i Hercegovini u srijedu je potvrđeno 476 novih slučajeva zaraze koronavirusom što je novi rekord i najveći broj zaraženih u jednom danu od izbijanja epidemije u ožujku, a istodobno je prijavljeno 11 smrtnih slučajeva povezanih sa zarazom.
Od utorka je u BiH testirano nešto manje od dvije i pol tisuće uzoraka pri čemu je zaraza potvrđena kod 335 osoba iz Federacije BiH te kod 141 iz Republike Srpske.
Veća gradska središta i daje su najveća žarišta zaraze pa je tako u Sarajevu potvrđen 81 novi slučaj dok ih je u Banjoj Luci 72.
Prema podacima koje je tijekom dana objavilo Ministarstvo civilnih poslova BiH, broj zaraženih na 100 tisuća stanovnika prošli tjedan je znatno povećan u usporedbi sa stanjem početkom mjeseca.
Ta je brojka u razdoblju od 5. do 11. listopada bila 67 dok je tjedan prije toga bila 41. Trenutačni broj aktivnih dnevnih slučajeva zaraze koronavirusom na 100 tisuća stanovnika u BiH je 188,5.
Prvi jesenski dani već su prouzročili značajnije onečiščenje zraka u gradovima Bosne i Hercegovine upozoravajući kako bi tijekom predstojeće zime ljudi koji tamo žive mogli biti suočeni sa smrtonosnom kombinacijom opasnih čestica prašine i podjednako opasnog koronavirusa, upozoravaju u srijedu lokalni mediji.
Već tijekom ovog razmjerno čistog i vjetrovitog dana kvaliteta zraka u Sarajevu bila je označena narančastom oznakom uz naznaku kako je on nezdrav za osjetljive skupine stanovništva dok se zdravim osobama preporuča da reduciraju veće napore na otvorenome.
Onečišćenje zraka kronični je problem urbanih središta u BiH već desetljećima s tim da je on u proteklim godinama eskalirao posebice u sredinama poput Sarajeva. Tamo više nema industrijskih pogona iz vremena bivše Jugoslavije ali je zato problem postalo nekvalitetno gorivo kojim se zagrijavaju stambeni objekti kao i ogroman broj prastarih vozila na gradskim prometnicama.
Svi oni u zrak emitiraju velike količine čestica prašine pri čemu su najopasnije one promjera ispod 2,5 mikrona (PM 2,5).
Studija koju je provela Škola za javno zdravstvo Sveučilišta Harvard i čiji su rezultati objavljeni u travnju ove godine utvrdila je kako je stopa smrtnosti među osobama zaraženim virusom SARS-CoV-2 15 posto veća u sredinama s onečišćenim zrakom.
To se posebice odnosi na sredine u kojima je najveći problem baš onečišćenje prouzročeno "finim" česticama prašine kako je to slučaj u Sarajevu.
Anes Podić, čelnik bosanskohercegovačke nevladine udruge "Eko akcija", kazao je za portal Faktor kako je nesporna činjenica da je Sarajevo već godinama u neslavnoj utrci za grad s najvećim onečišćenjem zraka na svijetu.
"Da nije vjetar puhnuo posljednja tri dana siječnja i smanjio zagađenje, Sarajevo bi 'oborilo' rekord Pekinga", kazao je Podić pozivajući se na rezultate mjerenja onečišćenja zraka kakve prikupljaju mjerne postaje postavljene u veleposlanstvima SAD u glavnim gradovima zemalja diljem svijeta pa tako i u BiH te Kini.
Prema podacima američkog veleposlanstva već u srijedu je koncentracija čestica PM 2,5 u Sarajevu bila 53 mikrograma po prostornom metru što se smatra "nezdravim".

U Bosni i Hercegovini u srijedu je potvrđeno 476 novih slučajeva zaraze koronavirusom što je novi rekord i najveći broj zaraženih u jednom danu od izbijanja epidemije u ožujku, a istodobno je prijavljeno 11 smrtnih slučajeva povezanih sa zarazom.
Od utorka je u BiH testirano nešto manje od dvije i pol tisuće uzoraka pri čemu je zaraza potvrđena kod 335 osoba iz Federacije BiH te kod 141 iz Republike Srpske.
Veća gradska središta i daje su najveća žarišta zaraze pa je tako u Sarajevu potvrđen 81 novi slučaj dok ih je u Banjoj Luci 72.
Prema podacima koje je tijekom dana objavilo Ministarstvo civilnih poslova BiH, broj zaraženih na 100 tisuća stanovnika prošli tjedan je znatno povećan u usporedbi sa stanjem početkom mjeseca.
Ta je brojka u razdoblju od 5. do 11. listopada bila 67 dok je tjedan prije toga bila 41. Trenutačni broj aktivnih dnevnih slučajeva zaraze koronavirusom na 100 tisuća stanovnika u BiH je 188,5.
Prvi jesenski dani već su prouzročili značajnije onečiščenje zraka u gradovima Bosne i Hercegovine upozoravajući kako bi tijekom predstojeće zime ljudi koji tamo žive mogli biti suočeni sa smrtonosnom kombinacijom opasnih čestica prašine i podjednako opasnog koronavirusa, upozoravaju u srijedu lokalni mediji.
Već tijekom ovog razmjerno čistog i vjetrovitog dana kvaliteta zraka u Sarajevu bila je označena narančastom oznakom uz naznaku kako je on nezdrav za osjetljive skupine stanovništva dok se zdravim osobama preporuča da reduciraju veće napore na otvorenome.
Onečišćenje zraka kronični je problem urbanih središta u BiH već desetljećima s tim da je on u proteklim godinama eskalirao posebice u sredinama poput Sarajeva. Tamo više nema industrijskih pogona iz vremena bivše Jugoslavije ali je zato problem postalo nekvalitetno gorivo kojim se zagrijavaju stambeni objekti kao i ogroman broj prastarih vozila na gradskim prometnicama.
Svi oni u zrak emitiraju velike količine čestica prašine pri čemu su najopasnije one promjera ispod 2,5 mikrona (PM 2,5).
Studija koju je provela Škola za javno zdravstvo Sveučilišta Harvard i čiji su rezultati objavljeni u travnju ove godine utvrdila je kako je stopa smrtnosti među osobama zaraženim virusom SARS-CoV-2 15 posto veća u sredinama s onečišćenim zrakom.
To se posebice odnosi na sredine u kojima je najveći problem baš onečišćenje prouzročeno "finim" česticama prašine kako je to slučaj u Sarajevu.
Anes Podić, čelnik bosanskohercegovačke nevladine udruge "Eko akcija", kazao je za portal Faktor kako je nesporna činjenica da je Sarajevo već godinama u neslavnoj utrci za grad s najvećim onečišćenjem zraka na svijetu.
"Da nije vjetar puhnuo posljednja tri dana siječnja i smanjio zagađenje, Sarajevo bi 'oborilo' rekord Pekinga", kazao je Podić pozivajući se na rezultate mjerenja onečišćenja zraka kakve prikupljaju mjerne postaje postavljene u veleposlanstvima SAD u glavnim gradovima zemalja diljem svijeta pa tako i u BiH te Kini.
Prema podacima američkog veleposlanstva već u srijedu je koncentracija čestica PM 2,5 u Sarajevu bila 53 mikrograma po prostornom metru što se smatra "nezdravim".
