Ivo Josipović, bivši hrvatski predsjednik i profesor na Pravnom fakultetu u Zagrebu, prošli je mjesec dobio počasni doktorat na privatnom Alfa BK univerzitetu kontroverznog srpskog tajkuna i političara Bogoljuba Karića, koji je od prošle godine na europskoj listi sankcioniranih pojedinaca zbog rata u Ukrajini, piše Jutarnji list.
Bogati srpski biznismen, sada blizak Aleksandru Vučiću, koji je svoje poslovno carstvo gradio za vrijeme režima Slobodana Miloševića, našao se prošle godine na listi sankcioniranih zbog bliskosti s bjeloruskim diktatorom Aleksandrom Lukašenkom. Zahvaljujući bliskim vezama s Lukašenkom, tvrtke povezane s Karićem, piše u Službenom glasniku EU, dobile su povlašten tretman od njegova režima.
Josipović se na listi počasnih doktora Karićeva sveučilišta našao u društvu s ruskim i bjeloruskim veleposlanikom u Srbiji, kao i Stevenom Seagalom, američkim glumcem i bliskim prijateljem ruskog predsjednika Vladimira Putina.
Bivšem hrvatskom predsjedniku to je četvrti počasni doktorat. Istu je titulu dobio u Turskoj, Albaniji, ali 2010. i na Ruskom državnom sveučilištu Immanuel Kant u Kalinjingradu.
Josipović je dobio počasni doktorat, kako je istaknuto, zbog svojeg dugogodišnjeg zalaganja za uspostavljanje mira i suradnje među narodima, kao i doprinosa u različitim područjima znanosti, umjetnosti, politike i unapređenja razvoja društvene zajednice.
Održao je i predavanje na temu "Europska budućnost jugoistoka Europe - hrvatsko iskustvo".
Govorio je da se u politici i privatnom životu zalaže za to da, bez obzira na sve, narodi budu prijatelji, kao što su nekad bili, te da je kada je preuzeo funkciju predsjednika, kao jedan od prioriteta postavio pitanje boljih odnosa sa susjedima.
Izrazio je uvjerenje da bi i Srbija trebala biti članica EU, što smatra važnim doprinosom trajnom miru u regiji.
- Za razliku od nekih drugih političara, ja i Hrvatsku vidim u toj regiji koju neki zovu jugoistokom Europe, to više što smo multiregionalni, dio smo Podunavlja, srednje Europe, Mediterana, ali i Balkana, koliko god neki to strastveno negirali. Mi smo vezani uz Balkan - poručio je Josipović.
Za Jutarnji kaže kako su ga zvali da mu daju počasnu titulu i kako tu nema nikakve priče.
- Čovjeka sam vidio prvi i zadnji put u životu. Bio je korektan i ljubazan, a sveučilište mu dobro izgleda - kaže Josipović.
Karić se nije javio iako je obećao poslati odgovore.

Ivo Josipović, bivši hrvatski predsjednik i profesor na Pravnom fakultetu u Zagrebu, prošli je mjesec dobio počasni doktorat na privatnom Alfa BK univerzitetu kontroverznog srpskog tajkuna i političara Bogoljuba Karića, koji je od prošle godine na europskoj listi sankcioniranih pojedinaca zbog rata u Ukrajini, piše Jutarnji list.
Bogati srpski biznismen, sada blizak Aleksandru Vučiću, koji je svoje poslovno carstvo gradio za vrijeme režima Slobodana Miloševića, našao se prošle godine na listi sankcioniranih zbog bliskosti s bjeloruskim diktatorom Aleksandrom Lukašenkom. Zahvaljujući bliskim vezama s Lukašenkom, tvrtke povezane s Karićem, piše u Službenom glasniku EU, dobile su povlašten tretman od njegova režima.
Josipović se na listi počasnih doktora Karićeva sveučilišta našao u društvu s ruskim i bjeloruskim veleposlanikom u Srbiji, kao i Stevenom Seagalom, američkim glumcem i bliskim prijateljem ruskog predsjednika Vladimira Putina.
Bivšem hrvatskom predsjedniku to je četvrti počasni doktorat. Istu je titulu dobio u Turskoj, Albaniji, ali 2010. i na Ruskom državnom sveučilištu Immanuel Kant u Kalinjingradu.
Josipović je dobio počasni doktorat, kako je istaknuto, zbog svojeg dugogodišnjeg zalaganja za uspostavljanje mira i suradnje među narodima, kao i doprinosa u različitim područjima znanosti, umjetnosti, politike i unapređenja razvoja društvene zajednice.
Održao je i predavanje na temu "Europska budućnost jugoistoka Europe - hrvatsko iskustvo".
Govorio je da se u politici i privatnom životu zalaže za to da, bez obzira na sve, narodi budu prijatelji, kao što su nekad bili, te da je kada je preuzeo funkciju predsjednika, kao jedan od prioriteta postavio pitanje boljih odnosa sa susjedima.
Izrazio je uvjerenje da bi i Srbija trebala biti članica EU, što smatra važnim doprinosom trajnom miru u regiji.
- Za razliku od nekih drugih političara, ja i Hrvatsku vidim u toj regiji koju neki zovu jugoistokom Europe, to više što smo multiregionalni, dio smo Podunavlja, srednje Europe, Mediterana, ali i Balkana, koliko god neki to strastveno negirali. Mi smo vezani uz Balkan - poručio je Josipović.
Za Jutarnji kaže kako su ga zvali da mu daju počasnu titulu i kako tu nema nikakve priče.
- Čovjeka sam vidio prvi i zadnji put u životu. Bio je korektan i ljubazan, a sveučilište mu dobro izgleda - kaže Josipović.
Karić se nije javio iako je obećao poslati odgovore.
