 - Uvijek u životu težio sam smislu, ljubavi, te borbi za bolji svijet i slobodu hrvatskog naroda, no pogriješio sam vjerujući u komunizam. U nekim razdobljima bio sam kukavica, nedovoljno hrabar da se do kraja zauzmem za promjenu strukture i odnosa snaga u državi, kao i za vlastiti identitet. Priznajem da za to snosim svoj dio krivice“, kazao je Zdravko Tomac u emisiji “Nedjeljom u dva” na HTV-u.

Nekad ugledni politički teoretičar socijalizma SFRJ, zatim potpredsjednik Vlade demokratskog jedinstva, a potom i Hrvatskog sabora, Tomac je govorio o tome kako je u sedmom desetljeću života shvatio da je kršćanstvo bolje od komunizma, te je objašnjavao kako se njegovo duhovno obraćenje od ateista do vjernika zbivalo usporedno s političkim obraćenjem od komunista do antikomunista.

Odgovarajući na pitanja Aleksandra Stankovića, urednika i voditelja emisije, Tomac je izbjegavao direktno napasti ili pohvaliti svoje tadašnje kolege Franju Tuđmana, Ivicu Račana, Dražena Budišu.

Ustvrdio je, međutim, da su postojala 'dva’ Jakova Blaževića, jedan koji je bio tužitelj Alojzija Stapinca, ali i drugi koji je 1972. godine spašavao “proljećare”.

Govoreći o obraćenju, objasnio je da se na put vjere u Boga vratio prije dvadeset godina, o čemu je dugo šutio kako bi devedesetih godina izbjegao svrstavanje u skupinu interesnih, političkih obraćenika.

Istaknuo je i to da ateizam smatra velikim zlom koje ne trpi ljubav prema bližnjima, već ljude potiče na hedonizam, strast i potrošački mentalitet. No kršćanski odgoj, kako je kazao, veliča ljubav prema obitelji i naciji te potiče vjeru, što predstavlja veliku božju milost.

Tomac se osvrnuo i na priče o Thompsonu rekavši kako je potrebno da se ogradi od vrijeđanja Račana 2002. godine, no da su njegove pjesme inače izražajnih emocija koje potiču ljubav prema domovini, obitelji, vjeri i Bogu.

 - Uvijek u životu težio sam smislu, ljubavi, te borbi za bolji svijet i slobodu hrvatskog naroda, no pogriješio sam vjerujući u komunizam. U nekim razdobljima bio sam kukavica, nedovoljno hrabar da se do kraja zauzmem za promjenu strukture i odnosa snaga u državi, kao i za vlastiti identitet. Priznajem da za to snosim svoj dio krivice“, kazao je Zdravko Tomac u emisiji “Nedjeljom u dva” na HTV-u.

Nekad ugledni politički teoretičar socijalizma SFRJ, zatim potpredsjednik Vlade demokratskog jedinstva, a potom i Hrvatskog sabora, Tomac je govorio o tome kako je u sedmom desetljeću života shvatio da je kršćanstvo bolje od komunizma, te je objašnjavao kako se njegovo duhovno obraćenje od ateista do vjernika zbivalo usporedno s političkim obraćenjem od komunista do antikomunista.

Odgovarajući na pitanja Aleksandra Stankovića, urednika i voditelja emisije, Tomac je izbjegavao direktno napasti ili pohvaliti svoje tadašnje kolege Franju Tuđmana, Ivicu Račana, Dražena Budišu.

Ustvrdio je, međutim, da su postojala 'dva’ Jakova Blaževića, jedan koji je bio tužitelj Alojzija Stapinca, ali i drugi koji je 1972. godine spašavao “proljećare”.

Govoreći o obraćenju, objasnio je da se na put vjere u Boga vratio prije dvadeset godina, o čemu je dugo šutio kako bi devedesetih godina izbjegao svrstavanje u skupinu interesnih, političkih obraćenika.

Istaknuo je i to da ateizam smatra velikim zlom koje ne trpi ljubav prema bližnjima, već ljude potiče na hedonizam, strast i potrošački mentalitet. No kršćanski odgoj, kako je kazao, veliča ljubav prema obitelji i naciji te potiče vjeru, što predstavlja veliku božju milost.

Tomac se osvrnuo i na priče o Thompsonu rekavši kako je potrebno da se ogradi od vrijeđanja Račana 2002. godine, no da su njegove pjesme inače izražajnih emocija koje potiču ljubav prema domovini, obitelji, vjeri i Bogu.
